what does your everyday makeup kit contain?

i recently attended a makeup class that made me learn what to use everyday, casual occassions, for the office, or for parties. it was a really great help for me. but when my teacher taught about everyday makeup, she used liquid foundation, loose powder, blusher, eyebrow stuff, and several brushes for countouring, for powder, for foundation, for blush, etc. She really used a lot of things.. that made me confused a little bit since after leaving the makeup class, im wondering if i should buy every single brush she used for just simple casual makeup. then that would be a great investment! my makeup kit right now just contains blush, pressed powder, lip balm, nude lipstick, that's it. i want to get to see what your makeup kit contains so i could see the essentials that real people use :) hope you could help me dear mylotters!
