well i told you not to trust me

why is it that when people show their true colours or tell us that they can't be trusted do we feel shocked when the thing they warned us about happens? after all they were honest with us to start with so why did we think 'this time they'll be different'

That's stange... I have never heard of anyone admitting that they can't be trusted. Where are these people living, because if anyone told me that they couldn't be trusted, there is no way I'm placing my trust in them.... that's crazy...

I guess all of us need someone to count on and we want to belive that we can count on a certain person even if then say that we cant trust them.
We need to believe that we can trust them because we need to believe that people are good, and not evil or traitors.

I think its because we trust and put our hearts into trusting them that's why we don't even minding how they warned us in the first place of what might happen sometime soon. If that situation then happens, we still feel shocked because we never believed that they'll do it but they actually did. Its painful and disappointing. But what can we do? They do warned us in the first place. I guess we just thought things will be different this time because of the remaining "HOPE" that we have for another chance with that person.

Probably we are shocked because we didn't want to believe anything bad about them. The thing is why would you want to be around someone who would say "well I told you not to trust me"? I know I wouldn't want to be around someone like that. It shows bad character in a person.

Well, it's very polite to warn people about what you are, but some people don't take it serious and think you're just joking.I was warned by one friend who said:Be careful, I'm a big egoist.I didn't believe him and though: come on, you seem so nice, you can't be so bad.And you know, he really was like that.

I think its normal for people not to show their true colors. I mean, its up to us whether we are going to trust that person or not. And that is why it is not easy for me to trust someone cause I have to know their personality first. And if I have to trust, i dont usually give 100 percent trust.

I think because we always want to believe the best in people and that we will finally be the one they will be honest with. Also though I don't think because someone warned you that they are not to be trusted gives them the right to show their true colors. No one has the right to do that to another person.
