There are alot of people out there that like to make things, some people like to make their own buns aswell as cakes, others decorations for different occassions, cards, all manners of different things.I like to make greetings cards as i think they are more of a personal touch, aswell as there is more thought and feeling gone into making one, rather than getting it from a shop.

I would love to learn how people do all the bead work to make greak jewelry as that is a great hobby aswell as a great way to make money.Plus then we could make the things that we want rather than having to pay all that money to have simular things as the shops sell.

I am not all that keen on cooking, but i do like to make cards.I find that making cards can be very relaxing and the end results are good aswell.I think that by making cards we are also saving money, aswell as if you need a card in a hurry then there will always be one there to use.

I dun really make anything nowadays.. In the past, i used to make birthday cards and mother's day cards for my mom. BUt as i grow older, i'm no longer doing that. Even if i'm making something, it will be for my gf, or the girls i'm going after.. lol =D
I will make them some small gifts, or be folding thousand of stars for them, with different colors, putting them into a nice jar.. haha =D WHile there was this once, i made a special glow in the dark gift for the girl i like, on my birthday and gave it to her.. haha =D

wow,my brother that was so sweet for you to make some glow in the dark gift.and making that thousands of stars inside a bottle with different colors,i like that idea!
you like surprising,i guess! i like that!
usually,i am the one who always make an effort to give something made of my own hands to friends or special someone i want to be with.
i like making them smile and touching their hearts just by simple gifts i want to offer.
usually,if i have a friend who are celebrating their birthdays,i would like to make something for them which can melt their hearts and make them want to hug me tight,
i love the idea of surprising them!
well, nowadays,i don't have much of surprise to make and i am more of a computer addict now which makes me feel like i am getting uglier because of too much computer exposure.haha =D
that's why i find time for myself instead,i don't like the idea of getting uglier each day and having headache always.
by the way,i wished i could receive something from you dear!
just simple stuffs like you have mentioned.
you know,i have never met someone who makes something for their girls.
and i would like to experience someone who can give something sweet for me.
because most of the time,i am the giver, not the receiver, when it comes to gifts like that with personal touch.

Dun worry!! YOur time will come when u have got a bf, or someone who's secretly in love with u!! haha =D U will then see or receive alot more surprises, compared to what i've mentioned it here.
Mine are old meothds belonging to the past whereby we have to do everything.. But now, everything can be bought ready made!! haha
So if u ever come across such a guy whom, hand-made gifts for u, cherish him.. haha

that's my wish,my brother!
to meet the guy you would give gifts made by himself.
it's nice to have someone who knows how to value you,and really made an effort to make gifts of their own, despite their busy schedules in life.
i really wished to meet that guy who will cherish me as well...

Same here..i also love doing my own greeting cards and simple do it yourself stuff for gifts to my friends and my bf. I like decorating simple cards to make it look into a more nice, beautiful and expensive one. A gift that came from the heart is mostly appreciated by many and i love making others happy so i make my own gifts and cards.

wow, gaiza,i am happy to know you want to make things with touch of art!
like you said, a gift that came from the heart is mostly appreciated by many.
i like that thought,my friend! that's also my attitude when it comes to gift giving.well,i want more time to focus on things to make it more creative and presentable.though,i find it hard if i am not in the mood to making it more beautiful. but i still want to make an effort of giving gifts with personal touch. not just by buying those made greetings cards. it is much more sweet when you give a card with your own handwriting and efforts of making the whole thing yourself.

haha, yeah,it's still worth a try to make a personalized greeting card than spend money on made ones which i can say not practical.it's better to give something you know you have efforts to.this way,the receiver may think they are special cause you have allotted time just to give them something out of your own efforts.

I make my own greeting cards before when my there is a family member that is celebrating their birthday. I also make a slum book, personalized. When I was infatuated with my first crush before I compiled all his photos, he is a celebrity actually. Even the blog he made and the story above him or articles and interviews about him i printed it and i log on my slum book. I just stop since i feel that I already forgot about God and my life because of him. But that was before, I already move on now.

Hi,
Presently I am getting too busy to devote significant time to these creative undertakings. But when I was younger I used to make things. I used to make buildings, castles etc with cardboards. I used to collect all sorts of pictures and glued them to notebooks. That way I made many picture books. Children loved them. I remember drawing cartoons. I was so obsessed that I even drew cartoons on the back of my school-notebooks. I used to make engravings in chalks, the idea of which I got from a television program. I could engrave human faces in a piece of chalk. I used to collect twigs and tried to make them look meaningful. Those were such fine days. I still miss it. Thanks.
God bless you

okay, that's a nice thing to make.well, women really knows how to organize than men, right?
it just takes time to make things beautiful and pleasant.
it's fun to do such things which makes the environment more beautiful, using those creations you make.one must have to be creative at times to make use of things that turned out to be trash.

I wish I have a skill like you.
Actually, I like making my own clothes, but I am lack of training. I did make my own uniforms back in school, and I made a sun dress a while ago. But that was as far as I go. To have a training in mode and how to make them is expensive, I cannot afford it. I mean I can afford it, but I need the money for something else at the moment.

I am not that great at sewing, but saying that i did do a tapestry a few years ago and my dad had it framed for me as a gift.He said in a few years when i want money it would be a money maker,as the man who framed it wanted to buy it and wanted to know how much i would sell it to him,my dad said it was not for sale.

I have not got the patience it takes to make a dress,or anyother clothes.I did use to make purses for my daughters when they were alot younger out of jeans that were old.I think that it is great that people can make their own clothes as they are their own design and that means that noone else would show up in the same out fit as anyone else at a party or a wedding.

It must have been a very god tapestry. My friends told me I have the hand for sewing. But I like it more if I can draw fashion and make it myself. This comes up as I often cannot find a good fit dresses for my body (being 5.1feet and 110pounds) in the stores. Some model are good but the materials are cheap. The materials and colors are good but the model do not compliment my body. So, I iwsh I can make all my own clothes.

I make a lot of things. Today I made a jug of soy milk. I have used my soy milk machine to make almond milk before but this is the first time I have made soy milk from it. I have not tasted it yet at it is still cooling down.
I make non-edible things too, but mostly edibles.

i've been thinking about this for a while now,i'd like to make stuff and sell it,but i don't know what to make,my friend makes cards but i wouldn't want to do that coz it would seem like i'm stepping on her toes,i'm ok at art and finding ways around doing DIY stuff cheaply, but whatever i think of just never seems to come to anything
