Well, I am not talking about rain literally. I am talking about problems in life. I have a friend that told about this saying as he have read it somewhere " when it rains it pours". He was talking about problems in life. Sometimes problems come in our lifetime and often when that problem comes, we are down, sad to note that another problems comes in and it seems the problem before it becomes harder to solve. We feel that the world is treating as badly and life has been unkind. Well, I do have experienced such. The important thing is to give it your best and not let our emotions bring us down. We must be strong to overcome such otherwise we may not be able to continue and eventually lose in the end. What is your say on this...

On a more positive light, "when it rains it pours", could also mean, when God gives his blessing, he pours it like rain...that takes you by storm!
Lately, though, I have been facing a lot of "things" in my life. In my personal life, and also in my CAREER, but all those hurts that are directed towards me? I just learned to laugh them off.
If life is giving you lemons? Make lemon juice, right?
It's all a matter of attitude. Life will always be unfair, I think, but it is how you deal with its many quirks and ironies that will really tell the kind of person that you are.
Kiss-kiss!

Yes, you are right theresaaiza. Its a matter of attitude. Its all up to you as to have to accept them and how you react to those problems. These problems can create a positive result of you take them not as a problem but rather as a test. I am sure that you will certainly have a good and successful life ahead judging by the way you take things. Best always!

Yes, you are right. But sometimes it is hard to be strong. After all we are only human. Though I do believe everything has a reason, I don't always understand it.
On the other hand if everything was so easy would we still be able to be greatful.
If everything was so easy, would we be able to understand those who have it difficult? If we never had problems, we would never understand others. We would never learn how to forgive. We would never really learn how to love.

Right you are margajoe. There are times that life is really hard and there are times that we would want to surrender already. But having these things will surely make as a better person in the end. Life is continues learning process and each day may it be difficult or easy is worth living for... Though sometimes its hard to understand, what is important is we accept and face each day with the right attitude.

Yes, I totally agree that because I have experienced it myself. I have been in that situation that I can't control all the problems anymore. But don't lose hope, after you have survived each trial blessings come and the good news is, it also pours. That why they say this, problems comes in bundles but blessings come also in bundles. Cheer up, It's not the end of the world. Hope comes in the morning!

Yes sukumar, they usually come in heavy. This is perhaps some people will lead to things that we should not do. Some people would tend to end life out of the misfortunes that happen. I just hope that when face with such uncertainties, we should still stand up and move on no matter what the problems are.

Hello,jpso138,i do agree with you."When it rains it pours",it just like a chinese proverb"blessing is incomparable to,misfortunes never come singly."Trouble comes just like a river runs, one wave surfing after another, event is always overtaken by another event.
But we become braver and braver little by little when we overcome difficulty one by one.then we will be strong. No water is enough when you've the sea crossed.Though difficulties never end we just remember one sentence:"born not to be defeated, one can be destroyed, but can not be beat."
Happy mylotting.

when it rains it pours, i really strongly believe on this sir. As i noticed that every time one problem pop out, many problems will follow, i often meet this kind of situation that i am not yet done solving my one problem here comes the other that makes my life become complicated most of the time....just like right now, i can say rain is really pouring on me...Most of the people around me says i will just pray.... Could be prayers enough to solve all this rain in my life?

Prayers move mountains my friend... one person says...
"I solve small problems with a small prayer, and a big problems with bigger prayers.."
and again somebody says "Don't tell God that you have a big problem, but instead tell your problems that you have a big God!"...
God bless us all!!!

that line can either be positive or negative. from the negative context, you are right jpso, we don't have to give up that easily, rather give it always our best shot. we do experience that the world may be treating us badly when problems happen, but the important thing is to learn from these problems and trials. the wisdom that we learn from the things that we go through will always help us not to just cope nor survive, but to move on and be stronger. we should always learn from mistakes or errors, problems or trials to become better persons always.

Yes you are right zapatee, its either positive or negative if you analyze it at a greater depth. Although most people tend to think of the negative more than the positive that is why, they seem to remember more of the bad times rather than the good ones. Well, life does come with many trials but no matter what they are, we should always face them and learn from our errors as you have said. At the end, we will surely be stronger person and most likely overcome whatever obstacles that come along.. even if it rains so hard...

Yes, i strongly agree w/ this.
We cant really avoid problems, its already a part of our lives.
We cant be what we are right now if we didn't experienced hardships and problems in life. One cant say he/she is successful w/ out surpassing trials in life. We must just have a good trust in ourselves and believe that no problems cant be solve, as what the saying goes, "their is always a light at the end of a tunnel". And of course w/ a strong faith in God we can always have the strength to face any problems in life and solve it.

Yes, problems makes us stronger and teaches us how to handle the present and the future. Definitely by being strong we can surely succeed and from there live life with a happy ending. Though sometimes these problems comes in big waves.. but let this not blind us that with faith and hope in God we can always prevail.

hey sir jo,
ever heard of the saying, bad luck comes in three?
heres my take on this: A lot of times we go through the motion of living like an automated robot. But at times, there are moments when just feel like shouting son of a b*tch. For example, yesterday:
I woke up late so I reported 30 minutes late to work. Unfortunately, my supervisor saw me and burned my ears for 10 minutes. I went back to my station, and got pretty nasty looks from my my workmate for being late. I received my endorsement, and went to suction my patient who threw up on my new uniform and shoes. I need to shower, but I forgot to put extra clothes on my locker. So I have to borrow things from my workmate who still is giving me a nasty eye.
A little later, I was called by higher up for the reports she asked me to do, which unfortunately I forgot to bring since I was in a hurry because I am late... I got the dressing down again for being irresponsible. 15 minutes before I was off, there was a code on the floor so I had to extend for 2 hours while my higher up is paging me every 15 minutes demanding for the folder.
Thats just the first 8 hours of my day. LOL. its not a drizzle.. its a downpour!

Hi chaze, I have heard about it. Well, sorry for this late reply. I hope that you are still out there. I guess that such day was really a downpour on you. But of course we can always make adjustments and I know that at the end of the day despite you being wet from the downpour is still ready to face another day of duty with a smile and a big heart to provide the best care possible to all of your patients. Best always and should you have that downpour again, remember that there are always friends around to provide you with an umbrella.

that thing literally comes when you're really dried up from something, it may be a pour of blessing or problems instead but, no matter what it may be, we should be thankful since it indicates that a Heavenly providence is guiding us and letting us experience things we need to further be called as a grown up individual; we should worry if nothing comes with us coz it maybe a sign that our presence is not visible for HIM

You do have a point there nylibra. Things happen for a reason. Problems are there to test us and teach us about life. After this we will be stronger person and will surely be ready to face different challenges in life. Then after all the hardships, life will be more meaningful.

"God places heaviest burdens on those who can carry its weight" a memorable quote
I've read in a magazine.
Problems are constant is everyone's life, and as for me it has been
a rough road to were I am now. In fact I've been experiencing some
mild depressions lately, but that does not bother me since its shows
that we are just humans. What matters the most is you keep on going
and never letting go. Remember how you think about a problem is more important than the problem itself. so think positively!

You are right rebelde. Definitely having a positive attitude will make us endure the test of time. Problems do give us a burden, but they are also the one's that help us make it through. They usually teach us how to live life better and enjoy each moment as it comes. So be strong and continue to walk with a smile as you travel in this journey we call life.

this line actually hits me!!....and i actually added on that "when it rains it pours and it FLOODS!"...For almost a year my life has been in the deepest ground ( that's what i feel)...i felt like losing things that I have in my life...I tried to get my self into something but i always fail..ALWAYS!!...but despite of these..still I put MY TRUST to God...i shoould stand still, be strong and never allow that RAIN and FLOOD defeat me...I know in this life....we need to take a lot of courage and trust to God to go on..to live a life and to have FUN :-)

Hi katch, I too have been on those time when I could feel that there is flood. But you are right, we should continue to put our trust in God and surely he will not let us down. We must be strong always. For as long as we do this, life will not be so difficult after all and remember that after the rain and the flood, there is always a rainbow.

problem is part of our life, that was called the spicies in our life. For me problem was design to make our life colorful. It's up to us how to deal with that when we face that problem. And remember all things work together for good and "all things" there means the good and bad. And there is always a rainbow after the rain. ^_^

You are definitely right goodgurl. There is no value in life, no color if there are no problems. They do give us pain, but they also give us strength and knowledge to make our life colorful and successful. It's like a test and every time you pass the test, you move another level in life and gain a little more in knowledge. Once you pass it all, you will certainly have the fairy tale and will live happily ever after.

I don't know why it is true but it is. Problems seem to come in bunches. I try to look on them as life challenges and as a learning experience. What is a problem today doesn't really seem that big when you look back at it in time. Somehow. Some way. We do always get through them, don't we? Usually we emerge, stronger than before.

Hiya jpsol,
When it rains it pours. First you can get one problem crop up it might be a big problem or small. But whichever way it is it seems to niggle you and bother you. So then comes another one almost at the same time and then just when you thought it was ll over another one crops up too. It never rains but it pours I really do know the meaning of that one.
But hey I am not complaining it seems problems comes in sets of three sometimes.
Hence the saying it never rains but it pours (pours problems on to you).

Yes, that is most likely thing that will happen. Perhaps when you have a problem your mind is worried and obviously it would be difficult to concentrate on other things causing other problems. But there are also just times that problems comes and another comes and so on. I also do not complain. I do however pray that I will be strong enough to face them all.
