I change almost once in two years. I am a crazy gadget freak and i don't have to say any more reasons for changing my mobile frequently. Not only that i like to try new features and from time to time i have done that. First i started with a black and white mobile and it was really sturdy with messaging, calling and battery life. Then i switched to a color mobile which had bluetooth also. Then i changed to a mobile which had many good features like walkman, 2MP camera and good battery life too. Then i got hooked up to the tough mania. I got a LG cookie and then presently i have moved to a 3G mobile with all added features. Mobile has become a computer these days and no one can deny that. Share your thoughts on the same.

Yes, I've been changing my cell phone constantly ever two years. As you'll see, Verizon here in the U.S. has a program for members to change there phones every two years free of cost. The new phones that I get for free may not be the best and most entertaining, but they will provide me with lots of purpose. I've been noticing an increase in phone quality and applications and find the newer features are worth making a phone purchases on. I don't have interests for LG phones and would rather buy Samsung models. My last phone was a Samsung Sway.

I usually change my mobile phones when the previous one is giving me hell of problems.Previously,I used to own an Alcatel otc85 or something like that.Suddenly, the phone jammed, turned off and never on again.I was kinda frustrated since it was a good phone (fell for a few times and still works better). Then,I bought a new phone, last two months. It was a Nokia E63.I loved the battery life because I only need to recharge my phone once a week, since I use it entirely for calling, texting and e-mail.See ya'.

no, i'm not... i'm not a technology and gadget freak person... my hubby is... so i only use my mobile phone for making and receiving phone calls and messages... that's all... i don't need a sophisticated mobile phone in order to do that... and i don't like using a complicated gadget as well as i won't know how to operate it... for me, simplicity is the best... take care and have a nice day...

I don't change my mobile phone very often. I only really change it when my old one isn't working very well or keeps getting errors on it. I have brought a phone not too long ago so that is something that i needed at the time and my new one has lots of features i like on it and was very good for the price i got it for so i'm very happy with my new-ish mobile phone.

No, I don't unless it is necessary like if it is broken or defective already that having it repaired or fix will cost me more than buying a new one. I only bought a cp of my own once. When Nokia 5110 was a hype then. But it was snatched. :) Then, all the rest of the phones that I used were all hand me downs by my boyfriend/husband. I don't really go with the trend. As long as I can text, receive messages via call or text, it is perfect for me. My last phone has camera on it, unfortunately, my 3 year old daughter bathe it with soap and water. Now, such phone is useless. I am momentarily living without a cp.:(

Hi, Even I change my cell frequently. Let us say on average I change a cell in every 8 months or so. Longest I used a cell was one and half year. It was very old and bulky cellphone which had two line digital display like in wrist-watch and was replaced by Nokia 1100. Then I wanted color phone so I switched to Motorola. Then for better camera I switched to Motorazr. But for battery backup reason. I switched to Nokia. Then for having PDA i switched to HTC. And now using Micromax to have dual SIM. Now planning for something like Android. Now I am really running out of reasons to buy cellphone. Please suggest me, if u know any.

I change my cell phone once every two years. It's mostly because the contract I have with my cell phone provider usually is for two years and at the end of each contract the cell phone provider offers me a better plan and a new cellphone just so I extend my contract with them for another two years. And since I like them and I don't have problems with them I usually do. Otherwise, I don't know how often I would change my phone. Probably only after the previous one gets damaged or something breaks in the software. I really don't like changing my phone, because it usually involves having to transfer all the data on the new phone, set things up again the way I like it... Blah, hate doing that too often.

I don't change my phone frequently. I think it's impractical to do so when i know that the phone im using is still a good and working one. I am really not that particular with new ones that comes out of the market. I think it is best to save money for other things than buying new cellphones when you still can use your old phone.

Hi xorticanz, I do not change my cell phone number frequently, because I do not see a reason for changing my number frequently. In fact If i change my number it is indeed a loss to me. Why because sometimes some of my old clients would call me on the number hoping for the number not changed. Yes when coming to change the cell phone yes I change it once in a year. Sorry I misread our post as changing cell phone number. Happy Mylotting, Calpro

I change my cellphone when it is necessary. In last three years I have changed 3 cellphones. First one was lost so i needed new one, second was not fulfilling my requirements so I bought the third one. today I use the same third cellphone and I will not change it until it is broken or stolen. I think we should not waste our resources and should maintain the natural environment around us. If your current cellphone is doing good then why to put buy another one?

I change mine whenever I get a discount. I have the Motorola Droid X after my flip phone broke about a month ago. I like to keep up with technology especially since now I have the Internet on my phone and I can check my bank/credit card accounts whenever I need to instead of calling home.

I wish I could. I wish I can. However I cannot. cell phones are not cheap. I get my phone from contracts with my subscription normally 2 years. Changing phone meaning breaking contracts which comes with a penalty.

Not all the time i was changing my cellphone but if there is a most important things that i need to upgrade my phone do that's it. I am not after the new model of cellular but to the service of that phone and the good quality of it. The new style and added feature of phones are according also to the increase needs of consumers like this device now can us also as a computer. Instead of bringing the laptop and your desktop then its better and much convenient to bring cellphone. I am using also this kind of cp.

I change my phone every year, only because I like to keep up with technology. I had never found a phone that I really liked until now, so I probably won't change this phone like I have before. I have a samsung fascinate which is galaxy s phone and it has lots of features that I really like. Now, I haven't used them all as of yet, but in time I will. It has wifi gps, a 5mp camera, and other features. It has the android operating system, and it is the first android phone I have had and used. I will probably stay with android at least for awhile anyway. I like it much better than the windows phone, which is the phone I had before this one. It was a nice phone, with lots of features, but what sets this one off, si the fact that I can download apps, some free and some not. Take care, and have a very good day.

No I don't really change my cell phones too much. I had a sidekick for 5 years then decided to get a Blackberry. I love it because I can take pictures and upload it to Facebook right from my phone!

I also like to change my cell phone frequently. But i don't have that much money to spend. I'm a home maker and always depend my husband for money. Is it possible for me? Now i'm working hard to earn money through online for fulfilling my dreams....
