How do you say that you have an abundant life? Is it having cars, houses and gadgets? Being able to afford vacations to far off places? Having money? then, Is money everything in this world?
"Abundance is about living a healthy, vibrant life with a purpose and experiencing the joy that comes from possessing a strong sense of self."
I think that most people here myLotting already knows this truth, we all recognize the need for money but knows that money is not the thing that makes our life abundant...for me I am living an abundant life, I'm healthy, I have purpose, and I am confident of myself with my relations to other people...
so, what is abundance for you? and are you living an abundant life right now?

It took me alot of years to sum up what is really important in life. It is family and the love you feel for them. I am a care giver and knowing that my abundant life comes from making sure my family is stable and happy. When that is the case I feel an abundance of life. There is no dearer price, grander honor or purer joy than a fruitful life.

I am pretty set in my ways. I do know what I want. And I like it done the way I am used to having it done.

So it's 'more of what you need than you're ever going to need to do what you do the way you like to do it'?

I think that abundance in life is about feeling satisfied as far as needs being met like people to love and who love me, a comfortable home and the ability to experience my passions every day. For me it is not necessarily about having a lot of things or money but feeling a sense of contentment and satisfaction that all is well with the world. My prized possession at the moment is my health...

I believe that we all see some different as an abundant life. I know that for me money is not everything although I like to live comfortably. However, my comfortable might not be someone else's. I enjoy living in the country and having horses so I feel that my abundance is the joy of owning horses. I also enjoy my family and I am thankful for good friends, family, a loving husband and the relationship that I have with God. For me, abundance has nothing to do with many material things.

Well, basically then, no matter how we view abundance, loved ones and faith(no matter in what) are always in the picture...

Living an abundant life for me is: being able to provide food for my own family and not having to rely on food assistance from the government, providing shelter from the ever changing weather for my family, without having to rely on relatives. Living an abundant life means having a good job to go to everyday and not worry about getting picked on or bullied from over bearing co-workers. Living an abundant life for me is being healthy and happy and spending time with my loved ones.

Living the abundant life is an issue of attitude, a need to put God above everything else, and also the ability to be grateful for the wealth God does give his followers in peace of mind, assurance, inner joy, and love. A lot of rich people never find those things. Many poor people do. Once you get your attitude about God right, you'll find out that living the abundant life is possible whether you're rich or poor.

Yes, I agree with you money is never the basis of abundance but having the attitude of contentment is, I think for me God is also the main factor I feel my life is abundant, and as I have Him in my heart, I see the beauty in my life...

Abundance for me is having a peaceful and healthy life. Yes we need money and things to help us with day by day but to me I believe you will know that you are in abundance if you are already contented with what you have. Not many people see that today. Sometimes I fail to see that as well. I long for what others have. Only when I feel contented with everything and I'm happy with what I have and am thankful of all my blessings, then I feel abundant.

and I'd be lying if I would say that I never feel that way^^
sometimes I do, but then, I think of all the blessings that I already have and I push that negative thought away..

Abundance is having more than what you need. Like having extras every single day. Not just in money but can also be relational. Like full support from unexpected people when you don't deserve it. But it is also how we set our expectations to ourselves and let those small and simple blessings be appreciated and be considered as part of your overflowing abundance.

Hi there abundance doesn't mean anything that is material its all about innerbeing and living a life with peace and happiness..I have tried everything to find out what is real happiness finally come to know its all about living with goals and realizing life with true love.A beleiver of GOD may find real abundance than a materialistic lover! If you love anybody unconditional thats where abundance is!

Thank you for your insight! and I agree with you, its nice to have gadgets and gizmo's but I know I can live without them, but I know I can't live without my family, friends and fiancée...I could survive losing one of them, maybe, but only because I have the rest of them loving me still and making my life worthwhile^^
