So MyLot Sleeps After All

I have never paid attention to the time when the interests icons refresh. I admit I don't have too many interests, and I have some favorite ones which I check more frequently. You can't be sure that myLot was idle for 20 minutes. Are you a member of all the interests? Maybe your interests didn't show any new discussion for 20 minutes, but how about the other hundred of interests?

20 minutes is hardly a sleep, maybe more of a nap lol. I must say I have never looked at the discussions in that much detail. I tend to change my approach to finding new discussions rather than just refreshing the new discussion page. I start with the top discussions then go to the new discussions and then the ones with no responses.

Hi friend, that may be an off peak hour of Mylot. Sometimes me too feel boring here as no new topics are appearing. And, i usually log in Mylot through ma mobile, so i use to check Mylot once in a two or three hours. So if i feel boring here, no prob i have, just log out and log in after some time, as Mylot is always in my hands.good topic friend.

i never pay attention when my lot sleep. i thought that this site is active all the time. because there are so many member for around the world here.

When the site seems idle, I always check out the other interests. There always seems to be a new post somewhere here on the site. Sometimes, its posted under an interest that I have not yet added.

I have experienced this a lot of times already and i was only thinking maybe my interests doesn't sound interesting to many other members. i even experienced my interest above doesn't have any new discussions for 45minutes making me find other topics on the no response section, that way i can see other discussions that were newly posted that wasn't on my interests.

Good observation!!! I never thought of this. Yeah even right now when I am seeing (9.30 IST). The latest discussion started is some 11 minutes ago. And hey I have refreshed my page forcefully as well... I guess everyone is busy answering instead of asking questions. Hat-off to you for your observation

I've been in the new discussions category, responding, and I notice that there aren't any new discussion sometimes, too. I don't think MyLot sleeps much. And, hey, what's wrong with being a MyLot addict? :)

I doubt there weren't discussions being posted, as it seems there are new ones all the time. I don't always see new discussions under my interests, but that dosn' mean there aren't any new ones, under other interests that I have. I have enough interests, that there is always discussions being posted, at least most of the time anyway. Some of the interests I have, I really don't post to them anymore, as I lost interest in the interests. what I do sometimes is go to my friends list and respond to discussions that are there. I haven't been posting as much lately though as I did before, as I have other sites to do, and so I will take time to do them as well. Just being able to share with others and learn from them, is what draws me back here. I hope to stay a member here for as long as I can. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.

Everything good in life needs time to rest and refresh. Mylot is no different. Even mylot needs a little breather to make new things new and alive again.

I never really pay attention on it but there is a time its really hard to post your response or discussion here its usually working after try it tree time for every response which quite annoying and wasting my time. If no one make discussion I don;t know what happen maybe its week end and every body in vacation .

Am amazed you took notice of this. You must be a keen observer of minute details. That's an admirable trait, at least for me. We tend to overlook details that prove big later on or in unexpected ways. I myself did not attach any meaning to the time displayed. It's a nice curiosity. Cheers.
