I agree with the statement that love IS NOT blind. What makes people say that because when we love someone, we don`t care about anything else, even we know that what we do is very risky, like you have relationship with someone`s spouse whatsoever. Like Leonna Lewis says"I don`t care what they say, I am in love with you" ( Bleeding love). To love someone is fine, but please use your logic too.

hi sheenshaukat,
Love is an intense feeling of strong affection and personal attachment.
for me, Love is not blind but lovers do blind because when you love someone you will accept and understand everything about her/him and love that person unconditionally as what Jesus given to us right now.

I agree that true love is blind. You can look through your loved ones faults and not even see them, you can forgive them at the drop of a hat! You can love someone that is totally different than you, short, fat, tall, or thin. You can love someone with lots of hair or no hair. Oh yes, love is blind.

No, I don't. Love isn't blind but the lover is. :)
What I believe is that the heart has no reason in order for it to fall in love with someone. But, it did not wish for us to love that person blindly. Even if love is overwhelming, still, it is capable of knowing wrong from right. Only, we tend to become more tolerable when we feel amorous. So, it is really our decision to love blindly and not the love, per se.:)

When we are in love, we have a different view of the world. it can be a more romantic one than we had before. We may not see things to be as true as they are. This can maake us blind to the truth of the world. Being in love doesn't make us blind. It just distorts how we perceive it.
