I dont just mean buying the food and presents. Some people like to freshly paint thier walls to make it look nicer, some people wash thier carpets, some people have special christmas cutains. Do you do anything like this or anything else to your house?

This is just the second Christmas that we will be in our own house and we've yet to have any special Christmas preparations that we are doing. However, I just got done telling my husband that next year I want to take all of my dolphins off of the mantle and create a Christmas scene on our mantle for decorating for Christmas. We have some villiage pieces that used to belong to my grandmother that I would like to be able to put to good use.

Well my preparation for Christmas isn't just a physic one, but I also try to prepare my mind for remembering the born of our Saviour. There is a lot to do inside of me(i mean spiritually) before Christmas. Christmas have to be reflected in you, and not in your walls or house. You have to share the love and friendship.

If I had the supplies and the christmas dcorations, I would prepare in this way: I would have a special christmas table cloth with snowmen dressed in blue, silver, blue and white candles, and matching placmeats. I would have christmas bears displayed decoratively throughout the house, with snowmen all in blue. I would have wall hangings that all matched and some precious moments too. I don't have any of these things right now,but one day I will and our house will be decorated as I have just described.

my Christmas preparation starts as early as November. During that time i have already come up with my Christmas list and already start buying gifts for friends and family. As for the house, i always do a general cleaning before putting up the Christmas tree.
