negative response

When youstart a topic here on myLot you are addressing people from all over the world. Some will/might agree with your topic and others will/might not. I went to your profile and see the discussion that has caused a problem. How about backing it up with a link to the report that you mention? Then comment back to those who responded with your own thoughts about this report We cannot always expect only positives responses or there would never be any discussions here would there?

So far I know you do not know if at all any particular person or a body of people have negative rated you. There are some people who would negative rate you even if there is nothing wrong in the post. Just keep on posting following the dos and dons of mylot.

there are various reasons why people will give negative rating to your discussion... but the most common reason is the content of the discussion... it might be abusive, aggressive or violating the rules and TOS here... that's the only reason i can think of... take care and have a nice day...

It may have happened that the Discussion or the responses which you gave were not like by other people. It is not possible that each and every person will like your Work. I also have a very bad rating and I tried a lot to Increase my Ratings by giving very good responses but till now I have my ratings as same. But I will try my best and continue Trying and won't give up.

Hi there cssiduyz!!!I think people didn't mean to respond to your discussions negatively.Maybe the reason why they are doing this is that they have a different point of view about the matters that you are discussing here in mylot.Just try to be more patient and understanding becoz we people really have different personalities.And sometime this differences force us to oppose other peoples view.Just don't mind the negative response that your getting in the discussion.Only pay attention to the good once...GOODLUCK!!!

point of view of every person in assessing the work of another person is different, not all of them looked at the results of your discussion it is negative,maybe people who consider the results of your discussion of the negative results of their discussion was not necessarily perfect

Criticism should be constructive I admit, however it is the world of people, the people all have their own opinions. Thankfully we don't have to agree with everything anyone says as it's what makes us an individual. Some people are negative, let them be, or maybe give them the constructive criticism they should have given you? :) Good luck!

You cannot expect that all of the members who leave a response to your discussions will agree and shared a good opinions. We are free here to shared our thoughts and ideas regardless of the contents either it's good or bad. As a fair poster we are ready to face what's the members ideas about our post and if it's against our opinions you should openly depend on it. Even you want all response is favorable we can't have it because we can't please everybody. Don't worry it's only their opinions and be ready to face and accept it.

There is nothing wrong with giving negative responses. People across the world, who have different cultures and traditions respond to the discussions here. It is normal for them to have different opinions on various things. If you are a serious worker here, you should be able to take any type of discussions from here. Don't expect everybody to agree with you. I like it when I get negative responses. It opens a door for me to talk with them more.

cssiduyz- I'm not sure if you can actually tell who gave your discussion a negative ranking, unless someone boasted as such. I've actually seen that in a few threads before to be honest. If someone did boast they are only hurting themselves when administration views that they gave it simply because they disagreed with violates the Mylot guidelines. If someone has done this I would simply use the [!] and report the comments to that administration can deal with it promptly. Now, if you are referring to people who do not agree with you, that is simply a fact of life. We do not always view things the same, nor should we. I never expect people to agree with me fully, nor do I expect people to parrot what I say. I do expect people to be respectful when responding, but that seems to be a reasonable expectation. I would simply review the sorts of topics you are starting and go from there. Perhaps some of your topics are controversial and if so one would have to expect some heated debates. Namaste-Anora

Different people think in different way. Every won't agree with what you say. Only thing is understand and value other opinion too and it may some times seem true in our opinion too when we think carefully. There is nothing wrong with discussion you started when you get negative response. Discussion must always be like that. I like both negative and positive response. I think about their response and agree or disagree with reasons and write a comment there. If I agree with what others say, I support and if I don't agree, then I write why I don't agree.

you are getting responses that's the main point. Don't bother if its a negative response. Today is the time for Negative publicity. Receive as many negative responses as you can as long as you stay in the guidelines of Mylot.

yes sometimes my topics also get negative respons and gets deleted.i wonder why.i never start any controversial topics.but still its happening..

cssiduyz some people here forget the warning in the guidelines to nothit minus just because you do not agree with the p osters view p oint only hit minus if you feel it is not a good discussion or it is insulting someone.relax and keep posting as you will get pluses too and soon move up in reputation. welcome and enjoy and relax have fu n.
