The best advice I can give you is to force yourself to do something each day. I find that in myself, if I get up in the morning and get busy right away, I tend to feel better and do more, but if I get up and kind of move slow, I find it hard to get motivated. I have to force myself to get up puut of bed or off of the couch to do things and once I get started, I find my motivation and find that I get things done. Then, once I get things done, I allow myself time to sit down and get on the computer, watch television, or do something relaxing. Sometimes, I find that if I write myself a list the night before and tell myself that I just HAVE to get those things done, and then I start right away in the morning, I do get the list finished and feel better. I can understand getting into that rut of not wanting to do anything, and it can be a hard rut to get out of, but if you slowly begin forcing yourself to get something done each day, before you even sit down on the couch, you may find that it gets a little bit easier each day to do those things you want to do.

Make lists of what you need to do or would like to do. Make it a game to check off as many as you can and reward yourself. Make sure you are in good health. Get plenty of sleep and eat right. Get out in the sunshine if it is sunny in your country.

Hello, I have been in this place before in my life too. The best thing to do s to write up a schedule of what you wish to do and what order in which to do it in. When you get up, then what to do next and next and so on. Not getting onto the computer unless you have finished some of the things on your list. When you need to sit down and rest for a bit then check your email allowing yourself only a short time to do so, then get up and do what's on your list. This is what I did and you must stick to it as close as possible. Anything is life that you do is based on disipline and that means of yourself too. You may need to start out slow and work up to your whole list unless you are able to do the whole thing at the start. You have to set bounderies for yourself. The computer and games is a reward for doing what you need to do first. Good luck, I know you can do it. I did...

Look at it as a must do thing, whatever you are trying to achieve. Then you must do this. You have made a list, okay now start with small steps. Trying to look at the whole picture is too over whelming. Just take it in small steps dong a little at a time until you build up to some type of schedule. When I get up, I go wash up, let the dogs out, make my coffee or hot chocolate, and start cleaning the house. I sweep the floors then mop them. Because last night before I went to bed I did my dusting all of the counter, cabinets, and knick-knacks. make sure everything is always put back into it's place and everything does have a place to be. Doing things in steps makes it easier to get it all done. After all of my things are done in the morning which takes a couple of hours then I get on the computer to check my mail. I get up then and make breakfast because everyone else is getting up about now. We eat, I clean as cook. Then if I need to go to town I do so. We eat breakfast between 7 and 8am, lunch at noon (12 pm), then dinner between 8 and 7pm. All other things get done in between. I hope this helps... but you must make yourself do what you are wanting to do. You may also be depressed and if so this will keep you from feeling up to doing things and feel tired and down with no energy. If this is the case then see your doctor. Explain what's going on and get the help you need in the form of a small pill a couple of times a day until you get in the place you wish to be.

Hi,it is normal and we all encounter such days. And maybe in such days, what you should do is just to relax, maybe go out to see the nature.Because when i was in your situation,i also just waste time on pc to read those meaningul things,or try to talk to others to get away lonliness or vexation. But the result was,the more i did such things, the more tired and bored i felt. So i recommend you try to calm down and read some books which are full of wisdoms,or as i said,go out for a travel to let your body and brain fully relaxed. Wish you get out of this bad situation as soon as possible.

I would suggest you get a job, but only if you want to. I know, I feel much better when I am working a 40 hour a week job, but also being able to find a job where you are truly appreciated and treated with respect is not all that easy of a task. I feel empowered, fortunate, and lucky when I have a job. I wish you the best of luck!

well a lot of people are goin through this as well. i had my moments of bumming around my place and sometimes i get confused whether i go to sleep or watch movie which is not very productive [not, if you're goin through it for weeks].. well i miss those days sometimes but i like working.. i just try new stuff and see if i get to like it and i go out. even if i have nothing in mind of what to do outside but maybe i see something that i might be interested..

I feel lazy pretty much all the time. Especially when it comes to going to work. Just last week, I was absent for two days straight. The problem is I don't like my work anymore. So now, I am trying to look for another job, one that I would actually like. I think the best thing to do is figure out why you're getting lazy. Like maybe you have fallen into a routine, or something. If that is so, then maybe you can shake things up a bit. Find something new to add to the mix.

I do feel the same way like u at times too. IT's good to feel this way because i take it as a way to relax myself, break away from my usual routine. I take it as time for myself, doing what i feel like and enjoy doing it. When i had my share of fun, i would go back to what i'm supposed to do. It takes some determination to go back to usual, and once u had the first step, everything will fall back into place quickly.

If we are too soft or pamper yourself, maintain laziness, tolerates poor performance, do not feel guilty if negligent or failed in the task, then the outside world will be very unfriendly. Athletes are spoiled certainly will never be a champion. A lazy sales will never be big sales. A consultant who tolerate poor performance must have left his clients. And workers who do not discipline should be able to be targeted layoffs. If we are soft on yourself, then the world will be hard on us. Feeling lazy clear disadvantage. Panacea is to foster self-discipline habits and maintain these positive habits. Even if someone has a goal or dream big, if laziness easily arise, then the ideals or big dreams that will remain in the wild dreams. So, if you want to succeed, do not facilitate the emergence of a sense of laziness.

You should seek help from a medical professional as it sounds that you are depressed. Excercise may also help you to get motivated to do more as it will release endorphins that may make your outlook more positive.

I go through periods like this. What I find helps is to try to find something new to try. It doesn't even have to be productive, just something out of the house. This gives me some new energy and then i can start doing productive things.

Sounds to me like you need fresh air, sunshine, and better nutrition. Are you skipping your fruits and veggies and eating a lot of carbs and/or sweets? That'll do it.
