Is It Hard to Earn?

I have seen a thread in a forum saying that mylot is not transparent in showing how we earn in here! I totally disagree with that thread since i can clearly see how much i am earning in here if only i click the tab EARNINGS. I think this is the most transparent site with no chance of being cheated at all.
I have been actively participating in here and i can see that all my posts were credited. I can't understand why people came here to earn money and yet they don't know how to read the guidelines and how to work things out in this site.

The earnings I get when I post a comment here in mylot are merely bonuses. The primary reason I log in mylot everyday is the enjoyment that I get when posting comments to topics which interest me. I do not post just about anything... I see to it that my post would be useful and helpful to the mylotters who read it.
For me, it is not hard to earn if you want to earn... as the saying goes, "if there's a will, there's a way".
Also, it really helps if you enjoy what your doing...

I agree with you Zeciram. If MyLot users just focus on the income then they will get frustrated and they will either leave or violate the guidelines of this site just to earn money.
The best thing to do here is to just enjoy what MyLot has to offer, and then you will be surprised how big the earnings that you have.

hi toni,
I enjoy being here and my friend circle so what if it is said to be Virtual - I find it more real than my view of real world.
For those who came here to earn money and are still dis-satisfied with the pay/money -- they should try out their luck on some other sites which are fake and then they would realize the difference. Harsh but honestly - You dont realize the happiness unless you have been through the sadness.

i never complain of how much i earn from this site... not even once for the past 5 and a half years i am here... i am here not solely for the money reason alone... the knowledge, the fun and new friends that i make from here are much more important than the money incentive that i receive... it is just the bonus for me... take care and have a nice day...

They are entitled to their opinion but it's best for you to ignore what they were saying and you keep posting here in Mylot and earn extra money. I think Mylot is a trusted and reputable website that promises posters to be credited for their participation in the posts. I also earn extra money by posting comments on this website, but this is something that can be earned online rather than surfing the web for nothing and not earning money. I also think Mylot is a very good online money making website.

I think that people get impatient to look at things like that and then they have so many questions or they think the site is just so hard. I'll admit on other sites I am like that, I just don't like to read the rules and so I don't last long on those sites. This one is so clear and easy though and can be fun. Admittedly, there's too many repeat discussions but hoenstly that can't be helped I don't think.

I think you are right most of the people complain about earnings and stuff but they don't realise who damn pays for just being with your friends and sharing knowledge but I think they are here for just earning money and not the rest of the parts which this site offers.

Hello Toni,
When you think too much about money on mylot, that's when the frustration starts.I had this ambitious notion way back early of 2009 that i can get 100$ in three months. but my US relatives were still around so i still got pre occupied. then, that month of july i created a mess violation. instead of loosing my post, i lost the entire account with 40$ in it after six months of being that old fart of me.
I learned my Lesson, never should have done that from the start. NOw, am doing better because i don't think much of mylot as money earning. and yet i get to earn more than what i don't expect
I hope others will realize it with having their account suspended first or deleted

I am curios how your earning looks like. Mine have a columns of date, participation, referrals, task, reward, and total. Well I do believe most of the earning are in the column participation but then i am pretty sure all those earnings in that column came from posting response in here and starting a thread. Now, do you see how much you earn when you post responses and start a discussion? Well in my earning I see none, just the total earning per day. So forgive me if I find it not transparent, but I think, "NO SHOW" of how you earn those participation earning is not transparent. Well unless you have another definition for the word "transparency". I'd read the FAQ and I from that I know that the site will never reveal how they compute this earning. Here is what they say about it...
"Earnings are calculated based on a proprietary model that rewards quality responses, relevant discussions and images, and normal website activities"
So who among you knows about this PROPRIETARY MODEL? Well I guess only the site owners knew that.
I am not a hypocrite, I join this site primarily because I wanted to earn, I don't know about you guys. This site is earning more than anyone of us in here. Yes it is good to share our knowledge and make friends in here, but the fact that this site is earning from those knowledge that we share in here, I do believe we deserve a fair treatment. I don't need to praise this site to earn more and be an administrator's favorite.
Have you ever feel unfair if you post a response to a site that's been deleted and your earning got deducted. I think it is unfair since you never cause the deletion, you just tried to share your opinion and make the discussion more meaningful. This are only few unfair treatments in here.
Sorry guys. I know most of you will not agree with me. And sorry because I might cause this thread deletion, but I never wanted to offend any members in here, I just want Mylot to know that they what they unfair in some of their ways in here. I do believe this is a good site but not that good. Thanks guys. Keep sharing!

You are walking down a road and want to cross to the other side. Do you step off the pavement without looking if a car is coming before crossing - or do you stop and check so that you will not get knocked down?
It's the same here. If you don't want to lose your response, you check first to see if the discussion which you are about to respond on is a violation of the Guidelines or not. If it is you don't post but move on elsewhere.

It is not hard to earn money. But first you must spend some time on Moylot. You must make clear of it. and as long as you keep doing, you will ear money gradually. You cannot give up when you feel bored and think you get little money. The amount of the money depends on your effort .
