A friend of mine sends me an invitation for an application than can be able to know who are frequently checking out my account. Do you know or are you familiar with it? The name I am talking about is FB Profile Spy V1.0 . My problem is that I don't know if this application will help me or just put my account in danger. Since when I clicked it direct me to another website which is not related to facebook.
Do you know this application? What can you say about this?

Do not open, save or run this file fb profile spy under any circumstance. There will be no harm to your account, but spam will be sent everywhere to all your friends, and if you happen to be a person, who is famous,or is high in the society, wikileaks will be able to write an article about you

I really do not care about people wanting to view my profile. The fact that I am there, and I am an active member of FB should make me expect that other members can get curious so I wouldn't bother to spend time tracking or spying on those people who are viewing my profile. So what?

I have ever heard about this application but I didn't use it. By accepting application, we let the application accessing our FB account. This is like adding friends. If you didn't trust this application, so don't use it. There are many people abusing facebook and take advantage from other people. I think facebook is not secure. So, if you can't leave facebook because you have many friends there, don't uploading secreet or private file in facebook. Use facebook for fun only.

I don't know it, but most likely it's a virus or spyware that will install in your computer for a hacker to spy on you. The invitation itself is suspect. It's the trick used by viruses, to disguise as being send by your friend from his infected PC. And if it ask for your FB login details, say good bye to your account. Also think that it can be any kind of thing spying on you.

I would not download it if you don't know who has put it out. I would not want to place my computer or my personal data in danger.

I dunno about that link, all i know is that i often get invitation from 'friends' yet when i asked them, they said they din send me any links. With that, i'm sure those invitations are definitely fake and it's not going to do our account any good. Ignore those links would be a safer option and dun accept any invitation even its from friends.. haha

I wouldn't trust it. I wouldn't really worry about it either. Those who comment the most are probably the ones that view your profile the most, although that logic isn't real either. I'd just wait and see if facebook comes out with one or ask facebook directly if that app is secure or not.

I am not familiar with that application. But i will surely not try it either. I do accept a few applications before but i have learned my lesson already. I think it's not safe to just accept every application i am interested in. Your account's safety is at stake here. You have to be very careful with abusive facebook and internet users these days.

No I have not heard of it. But these kind of thing sound like a scam to me, so I would delete it either way. How about asking the person who sent it to you if its good or not?
