Do you regret the mistakes you made in the past?

Yes in the past big mistake was done by me and till I regret for that choice. My one friend was fraud with me she is living with me in my house for study till 15 days and I teach to her all subjects and she was topper in the college but suddenly after getting result she called me and say surekha next time dont call me our friendship is end and it only for education purpose. I so much cried and never forget that bad moment and think always why help her.

I try to use the mistakes I have made in the past as life lessons that I use to make better decisions in the future. Everyone makes mistakes, but everyone handles the mistakes they make differently. It is easier said than done to not dwell on the past, but usually it is best to look at the mistake as a lesson learned and move on.

I deeply regret some of the mistakes I have made in the past. if there was a way I could erase them from existence I would. If it were possible to go back and correct my mistakes, i certainly would.

Lesson to self: never regret anything I've done already. The thing is, they thought me a lot of lessons and I'd rather keep it as is than wishing I could've done something different.

Not at all, sure I have made some decisions should could have been better but the end result I feel is always the same, its just a matter of what road you get there on. When you regret the past you often spend time dwelling on what could have been and not on what is going to be and ensuring you learn from mistakes and grow as a person. Heres to 2011, a year with no regrets!

As far as i know, I have only one regret in my life and I don;t want to do it again! Well, it was not a mistake, but it certainly hurt others when i did it! So, i wanna make sure that i don't repeat such a thing again in my life! And at least twice or thrice a day, I do remember the incident and i feel a lot sorry and all i feel is, only if I could some power to change the past, i could make sure that I don;t so such a thing! But, things done is done! But i have taken it as a great lesson!

i do regret the mistakes that i made in the past... especially the one that cause me to lose my stable full-time job that i had been doing for the past 6 years... can't stop regretting until now... but what's the point??? life has to go on and i can only treat my past mistakes as life lessons and to make sure that i don't repeat them again in the future... take care and have a nice day...

The person who has never made a mistake, has never made anything! A mistake is a lesson learned! Without mistakes you cannot improve! I do not regret the things I have learned through mistakes! Those were the best lessons of my life!

Just like "Frankie" said: "Regrets, I have a few but then again too few to mention." I did regret some my past actions, but I do want to go back in time to fix it. Cause if I am given a chance to go back in time, I believe I would still do the same as what I did. What I do now is trying to avoid doing the things that I would regret as in the past.

I do not have regrets per say. I am one who does look back and wish at times I could have handled things a bit differently but to say I regret, I can't. Simply because it is those decisions from my past that continues to make me a wiser person.

Sometimes yes I can't help it but then again from what you did in the past you try to correct it and not "dwell" on it - the "what if" or "I wish I did this or that". You always learn from your mistakes so as not to commit them again. I believe whatever mistakes we did in the past is a lesson we learn and forget about it although sometimes we can't help but still think about it, it's the past and nobody can live in the present unless he/she has overcome his/her past.

The saying goes, 'tis human to err.' There is no use in thinking back on mistakes. You not only can't do anything about them now, and they make you unhappy. I'm inclined to think that too many are remembering these things of the past. Elderly people tend to live in the past, remembering the 'good old days' or the 'bad old days'. But you are young - move on forward to the future, get the most happiness from today. Life is too short for regrets. Now you make sure you have a really good day, today, won't you? If you can do that, maybe you can make all your tomorrows happy too. Don't look back, look forward.

Hi! No, I do not regret any mistakes that I made in the past. I don't even consider them as mistakes but part of the learning process. I never regret anything I've done because when I do something I see to it that no one else will get hurt and when I make a decision I stand up to it. I also learned the art of letting go... to never dwell on "what ifs". Just sharing. =)

I look at my past mistakes to remind myself of the things that I should do or not do at present. My past mistakes taught me many things..it made me what I am now. I know, things happened for a reason and I don't have any regrets...right now, all I want to do is to make things right, think positive and move on.

I always used to regret past but nowadays i try and think positive and put things down to experiance the best way i can,we all make mistakes and learn from them,its all down to life and we never can predict our future but we can help others from making that mistake with sharing our knowledge.

Greetings! I don't regret the mistakes I have done in the past. Its part of growing up. Its okay to make mistakes because we learn from it. We become a better person after learning from a mistake. I don't regret it. It motivates me more to do better things and because of the mistakes I've done in the past, at least I know what to do in a certain kind of situation. :)

Until now I do not regret a single thing about what I did. And we made enough big mistakes that I have not forgotten. In life it's better to not regret doing anything. You have to think 3 times before you do something and if wrong,think you learned something.:)

Do i think of the past? Most of the time i feel like i living in the past!! So there have been many occasions in my life where i have made decisions which i later regretted, so many bad judgments of which i am deeply ashamed and if there were some way i could go back in time, i would definitely opt for correcting them! Upon further reflection however, i don't so mind making them as i most definitely would not have learned what i have learned, the experienced that i have gained and the change and development as a human being that i have undergone! I guess without a past there cannot be a present and there definitely will not be any future so to hold regrets though only natural should be to degree where you fail to live the present! Reflect upon the past, learn from it, cherish it and move on!!

The past is past. The future is future..You've been through the past. Now you are goin to face future. So think about the future with the help of past and not to make mistakes in future which u comitted in past. u knw im saying? You make mistakes to learn, not to regret. Someone has said that, "after trying 999 times failure, he got success on 1000 time. And when he was asked what do you think about the 999 failure? he replied that was just the mistakes, not the failure. And i found out the 999 ways not to work on again in future.
