We all know how frustrating it is when you go to the gym, but don't see your body changing. It can be discouraging to do all that hard work and not see any physical change. What can you do to see real results when you work out?

Compare to the results you (don't) get when you don't work out I don't go to the gym, I prefer running as exercise, and I do it regularly, for about one hour, at least 5 times a week. Unfortunately, winter hasn't been kind this year, it's been freezing and snowing for almost two months now, so I couldn't follow my routine. Combined with the holiday season, which comes with a very rich menu here, I gained a lot of weight and my pants don't fit anymore. Annoying, but at least it proves that my workout routine does have real results during the rest of the year.

Well, take it easy and don't push yourself too hard, everybody has problems keeping up with the exercise schedule, it's good that you're doing something for your health.

getting good results with a healthy body is not just about physical work out. it also requires proper food diet and knowledge of your body type. you have to eat a healthy diet which includes a balance of protein, vegetables, and carbs. i think you should have around 1400-1900 calories per day, more than 1900 calories for males i think. vitamins are also important in having a healthy body. as for working out, it is best to have an instructor. you don't just go to the gym and work your butt off. there are certain work out routines for specific body built or body type.

Consistency...eating every two hours...exercising 30 minutes everyday and weight training everyday for at least thirty minutes. But it has to be consistent....and we can't eat refined sugar and treats and such.

You need to do it on a regular basis, for a long period of time. It is the only way to get real, lasting results.
