My friend eat mouse?

It depends on the mouse. The ordinary house mouse is tiny and would hardly make a mouthful. It's just a snack for most cats! I wouldn't bother eating one of those ... too many bones and not enough meat! There are large species of mouse, such as the dormouse (about as big as a squirrel), which have quite a worthwhile amount of meat on them. Dormice, in fact, were very much prized as a delicacy in Ancient Rome. I gather that they are very good to eat.

I have read few of the news about eating the mouse in China. We can find the dishes with mouses from the farm in the restaurants within the China. However, the nasty and unethical restaurants in China caught the mouses at the back lane of the restaurant, cook and served their customers. I did see some people swallowed the lived baby mouse for the good of their health. For me, I prefer to be a hunger and never dare to eat the mouse.

I heart about this dish very much. But I never eat. I scare But mouse meat is very popular in my country. There are many delicious dishes from them. However, we only eat field mouse. This kind of mouse only eat rice and they're clean. Mouse in city is not eaten.

Objectively speaking,the little mouse is still very fresh meat,and eat small rodents looking for excitement in life.Voles taste I do not know.Of course ,few people eat rat.

Alright, I know in many different countries they eat many different things that others do not! Some things are extreme and others are not. Some things are a delicacy. Some are not. As far as eating a rat goes...I'm like you. That is the grossest thing I have ever heard of eating! I have watched a show on tv where they eat all kinds of things and do all kinds of stupid things to win money. They eat some really gross things. They let some really gross animals, bugs, insects, critters, and things crawl all over them to win that money and yes they eat all kinds of things. I will not eat a rat! Not for any amount of money or if I am starving. In fact that has been tested in my lifetime. I have never eaten anything I would consider gross when I had nothing to eat for days on end.

How big could that mouse of been to actually make a dish with it. EWW! I could not imagine doing that. But I suppose if one is desperate enough for meat one would attempt to cook one....how much one would get off of one beyond a bite I dunno.

I did not want to eat the mouse, even though I hated it. I also really hate mouse, since mouse always mess up my kitchen. Very annoying. But I never thought to eat it. I drive them by giving poison, so that mouse can die, and do not bother me anymore.

Hello fjclolazy, I had fun reading through other responses, for the repulsiveness in them for eating a mouse, lol. Fare enough.. I don't dare to try one myself, but really, i don't know why i don't find it that disgusting, as much when i hear people eating snakes, at least eating mice is better than eating snakes, haha. Anyways, like i said before i don't want to try mouse meat anytime. I don't know, if they say, mouse can really taste good if tried, but no sorry, not me.. I have a friend who says he has eaten a dog before, will you believe that ??

Rodent has never been part of my diet and if I did not know better would probably puck since the mice and rats that I know about are vermin that are loaded with disease and dirty. But rodent has been a staple diet in many cultures. In America rabbit is a common dish for example. In some countries in South America, the capybara is also a common dish. But there are many people in the world that survive eating rodents and its probably not disgusting to them.

Eeeew, I will never eat mice. Just looking at it scares me, what more to eat it? I don't think I have the heart to swallow it at all.

I would think twice before eating mouse meat cuz you dunno where it came from (like the sewers, or worst!) plus it may harbor health threatening microorganisms. Ermmm~ I think hurting an animal is bad, but I guess I would keep my house mouse free so I wont hurt one. O_O;

That is gross though. I can't believe that your friend ate mouse, and she likes it. She wants to try it again and again? Yuck, I can't stand the present of a mouse even, and I won't even consider to eat them too. It might carry some disease though. Told your friend, don't ever try it again.

I don't hate mouse but it doesn't mean that will eat them.I hate to eat mouse. I can kill them if they do disturb us and it will not be sin. Moreover i killed so many mouse in my microbiology lab as for experiment some things. But i never kill them for eat them or for doing some other things. So i never eat any mouse or rat.

I heard that too that some Chinese eat mouse may be not every Chinese but people of some province. It's yucky but interesting too.Because i'm really wanna know people how eat mouse. I will never ever try mouse as i'm a muslim and it's haram for me.
