I am an avid fan of this guy. He gave details and information about making a good body and to maintain as well. I do my push up and sit ups every morning before going to work. But I was puzzled when I read his statement: "The best time to train is 2pm - 4pm because it's when your body can tolerate pain the most." Do you exercise too? Would you agree to his given statement?

haha =D I dun agree because everybody's body is different. Whatever applies to him might not apply to u. My best time for pain tolerance is in the evening or night time whereby my mental strength is at its strongest.. haha =D Actually, having something like 'best time' to do whatever, arer just excuses or some form of motivation to keep one going. IF not, will one choose to be involved in an accident between 2pm to 4pm, when our body can tolerate pain most?? haha

That statement doesn't really seem right. Maybe if you pasted more of the text and if there is an explanation for that being true then I may agree. I think it's more important not to exercise late in the afternoon or near bed time as your body will be more alert and it would be more difficult to fall asleep.

I would be happy if I could go to the gym at any time but it is good to know that those times in the afternoon are the most effective. I will pass this information to my husband because he is keen to start on a fitness regime and he finishes work around three on most days so that time would be ideal training time for him. Interesting stuff...Thanks...

Hi syoti: Thanks for this information. I didn't knew that. However I think that doing some exercise is good at no matter what time you chose to practice it. For example, in my case I have chosen to do some exercise at 7 am, before going to my job because that's the best time I can give myself to do this healthy practice. If I am on vacation, sure, I can go to the gym in the afternoons but normally, I have to go only in the mornings. ALVARO

Early morning before 7am and after 7pm are the better timings to do gym. Because before gym in the morning our body will taken full rest and after gym in the evening also our body gonna take rest know.

Hi. syoti20. I don't really exercise like I would want to. I love walking on the track. This will happen very soon too. I would not exercise during this time in the afternoon, I would not want to risk my body aching. I would love tolerating the pain, but just only if I really have to.

Tolerate the pain? I didn't think exercising supposed to be painful. I think I would say it is the best time to exercise from 2pm- 4pm because this period is the "most awake" time for people??? I do like to exercise, I like the feeling afterwards very much.

No i don't do exercise everyday.I don't go gym everyday. very rare i do exercise in the gym.I don't agree with that statement that afternoon is the best time to go to the gym. In my opinion it should be evening time. As after evening usually we don't have any work and if we feel tired then we can take rest in this way we can save our time.

I probably would agree with this statement. I think that around that time you are wide awake, you have had both food and drink to help your body, it is not too late or too much into the working day where you are tired and so you should really be full of energy. This would then say that it is the ideal time to go to the gym, hopefully you will then be able to exercise more and keep yourself fit. I have only ever been to a gym about 3 times in my life, i do need to go but it is so expensive here.

I don't know that I believe this statement. I prefer to workout first thing in the morning. This is when my body is spry. If I wait until the afternoon, I think about it all day and then change my mind. I don't go. Not good.

I go to the gym regularly and I find that the best time is in the morning when my body is fresh and able to tolerate pain. I find by the afternoon my whole body is ready to shut down. So no I would not agree with that statement.

I joined a gym recently and have started going, but I do not work out to the point of any pain. I do, however, tend to go between two and four pm, but that is just because that is when it works out best with my schedule to go, and also because I am not a morning person.

For me, the best time for a workout is in the morning. I have more energy in the mornings but as I get hungry pretty early, I found that mid morning worked best for me a few hours after my breakfast had settled. I could not go too hard too early or I would get too hungry. A nice stretch routine or Yoga is good for me really early though. I have a friend though who likes to workout after he returns home from work. He says that works best for him. I think it depends on the individual as to the best time that suits them. I tried doing the afternoon workout a few times, but did not like it. It is too hot here in the afternoons. Also the late night workout is not my thing either. I tried that before with a gym membership, but I lost interest. I prefer to workout at home or by exercising out in nature like bike riding, kayaking or similar.

Well any time is a good time to go the gym as long as you put your heart into it and really exercise. For me personally i go to the gym or exercise ion the morning since it makes me less lazy throughout the day. I seldom go to the gym in the afternoon because i tend to feel lazy or usually other tasks tend to cross my mind when i go to the gym in the afternoon. But that's my personal opinion. As long as you exercise well then there's no problem. :)

Hi syoti, I do some warm up exercises and some yoga asanas in the morning, not regularly though. I also do some walking either in the morning or late in the evening. I feel early in the morning or late in the evening, on empty stomach, is the ideal time for any body exercises. I have never done any body exercises during the time suggested by your expert. I don't feel the exercises done on full stomach are good for the body. I may not be even able to do most of them at that time. Your expert must be quiet an experienced man and must have confirmed the result he is advocating. I may not dare to try it.

What on earth is the optimal exercise time ? It varies from person to person. In general 3pm-5pm Our body is at its best ,which is easy to adapt to changes in the intensity of exercise, moreover in the morning air has higher carbon dioxide content.

His statement is correct. Our physical body is in its most favorable condition to manage hard physical activities between 1 pm - 5 pm. I read it somewhere as a scientific statement. Do hard physical exercises in the morning demand much more of your body to regain recovery, to build up. Do you want to lose fat,it is best to do physical exercises in the morning, because the body has to take out of its fat resources. you need a longer time to rest up in your being, as you body needs time to recover and re-adjust for using your resources after your morning physical exercises. Over time the body get used to it. Do you want to build muscles in a slowly healthy manner which is benefical for your body you do it in the afternoon.
