Have you ever been hypnotized

I was thinking of getting hypnotized to quit smoking. Has anyone ever done this. Did it work.

Yes I've been hypnotized before but not to stop smoking one of my aunts was hypnotized once for this reason I can't recall if it helped her or not. I do know she quit smoking and hasn't smoked in a long time.

well i chickened out on this. they had a class a couple months ago and i was afraid to go by myself. so i am quitting smoking monday. got some all natural stuff.

ive heard of that technique but i've never know anybody who actually tried it. or should i say anybody that i know of personally. auto suggestion might work, although i would like to ask if youre comfortable being hypnotize. i know i wouldn't.

I have never been hypnotized period. I've never heard of anyone having it done either, so I don't know if it would be helpful to you or not.

Yes, people do this all the time to quit smoking or lose weight or to get rid of a fear or phobia.

havent tried being hyponotized. i dont think i like the idea. i am afraid of losing control of myself, relinquish that control to somebody else.but then if you think you can bear going under that kind of theraphy, then go for it.
