i HAVE DECIDED THAT TROUBLE JUST FOLLOWS ME AROUND.. I told a friend the other day that i could sit in my house, not bother anyone & get into more 'crap' than anybody i had ever seen. Yesterday altho i didn't feel like getting out & hadn't been out in a week but needed some milk & things so i went to dollor general because it's easy for me to get in & out there. As i was pulling into the handicapped space this 'woman' was running her mouth at me.I admit i didn't like her attitude & couldn't figure what she was running her mouth at me about. GRRRRR. I know i should have just ignored her but w/my short temper i didn't. I rolled down the window & ask her if she had something to say to me. She started in that she didn't want me to hit her truck & i wasn't even close to it, the fool. She was telling her man that he needed to move the truck over because he was over the line into the handicap space. We just had a good ol' cuss fight. Crazy thing just needed to go off on someone i guess but she picked on the wrong one.Wasn't in the mood for anyone's b/s. I know as i said i should have just ignored her but am really tired of the way people act. What would u have done??

I think, if i were in your place, i would not get angry like that, but maybe politely ask her what's the problem. In our country there are already a number of killings done, due to altercations like that, so i am so careful not to be in such a situation, because you never know how violent when provoked can your adversary be. I must admit, i admire your courage for doing that.

I would have done the same. I might look calm who is not a threat to others but when someone wakes the sleeping tiger in me, that person will be sorry for underestimating me. I think we all have limits when it comes to temper. When the boiling point is reached, words can fly out from our mouths like stray bullets.

Unless I had been there I'm not sure what I would have done. I could say I would have done this or that but I truly don't know unless I would have been there. If I had been in a "mood" I would have done the same thing you did, lol.

First of all, I would have taken a moment to size her up...and make sure that I could "kick the $hit" out of her....LOL! Just kidding, I really don't know how I would have reacted..There are days, when Murphy is messing up my life, and incident like that could have been my "blowing point"---and then there are days, that I would have laughed at them and that really disarms them, they get sooooo confused wondering what you are laughing at...and I just love that response! Do you feel better now, that you have let off some steam...LOL? You are my favourite "funny" lady. HUGZ & LUV!!!

I probably would've done the same as you. I'm also tired of people underestimating the older generation. They think that just because the hair is gray and we hafta use the stick that we're all drooling with Alzheimer's. We get no respect anymore. And that's true and not just a RD quote. If they want to try my patience, I'm more than willing to oblige.

Some people just have no class! Earlier today I visited my mother, and she doesn't live on a very great side of town. When I got there a bunch of kids were playing outside, right near a very busy road, with no adults to supervise. One child, who looked about 5 years old, was standing on the curb of this busy road.. again, no adults to supervise. So after being there for awhile her upstairs neighbors came home. They let their oldest child, about 7, go out and play by himself. My mother and I went out on the porch to smoke, and I hear the mom upstairs yelling out the window to the little boy that he'd better not cross the street or he'll be hit by a car and killed.. those are the words she said to him. Then something about he better not do something else or he'll be getting his @$$ back in the house.. those are the words she shouted out her 2nd story window to a street full of little kids. So then these children decided to stand right behind my vehicle and start throwing chunks of ice all over the place. They weren't necessarily throwing them at my car.. but still I decided it was time for me to leave! No class at all!

I always blame parents for the way children behave. Children cannot be held accountable if they've never learned proper behavior from improper behavior!

Thanks for your interesting response. U know people blame kids for the way they act but if they were taught at home how to act right it would be so much better. U are right that woman has no class or sense either in my opinion. I would be afraid for my kids if they were that age to be outside by themselves to start with. Hope your weekend is going well for u.

Same as you, dearie. What more could you have done? I wonder if she wasn't ticked at her man for parking haphazardly and was amped because of that. She had all the tell tale signed of a woman who had about enough of a man! I feel like people just follow me around doing stupid stuff and look at me like I am the culprit. Causing them hell when I just walked in. I get that snarly look like if they could they'd show me their fangs!

LOL, I loved your response. If i hadn't lost my temper i could have left my window up & kept my ugly disposition from showing. That's not the way i work tho.. I bet she thought who is this crazy old woman going off on me. I don't know what her problem was & i don't care.I have been trying so hard not to talk ugly[have always had a potty mouth] but i blew it yesterday.

Hey Antiquelady! I was just gawking about mylot and there she blows. What I always waited for. Lol. You may be terrifying to some people, but hey, like my lil old granny the more ferocious she got the sweeter she was to me. I know you don't just go off on people for no reason. Yes, the other lady was just plain paranoid. People get that way. I would've just given her and whoever her companion was a good long cold demonic stare and a shrug. But that's just me. If it were some big male assailant it would've gone a different way. But don't stop on my account. You're doing just fine, Sweetie! Like I learned in life, be yourself, have no remorse, enjoy life, never start anything you can't finish, never hurt anyone, but never hold back when someone gets in your space. That's what my lil old granny always tells me. Cheers!

Well, I don't see that as a reason why one should hole up in a house. I think you're just doing fine and other people aren't what they are supposed to be. They should take care not to tick off other people for stupid reasons. I have a temper too. A very bad one at that. But I don't just explode for nothing. It has to take some stupid reason for me to go off like a bomb. I don't think we are the people with problems. The ones with a big problem are those who don't think who they are dealing with. As always we don't start anything. We finish it. Lol.

Some days we just have to vent! I don't blame you for getting annoyed. I honestly don't know what I would have done. If it had been an angry man then I would have tried humour maybe so as to avoid getting cussed. I honestly can't predict what I would have done. I get mad when a guy tries to help me (without my asking and he is looking to be tipped) to reverse into a parking place. Then I get confused and flustered as I do not need any help.

That is pretty wild unless she was really griping at her husband about him parking wrong and you thought she was griping at you but it sounds like she was griping at you since she might of been looking at you the whole time. That is crazy. She is lucky that you were violent and didn't go over to her and beat her up. There is some people like that. Least you don't do that. LOL.

Probably the same thing because I work around people who have that problem. They run off at the mouth and after a while you just get tired of hearing it. Most of the time it's nothing I can do anything about or it has nothing to do with me, so yeah I completely understand.
