hard work or luck for success

In my opinion, first comes the luck, then comes the hard work to take advantage of that luck that you get.

Hard work doesn't alway mean success. Some people base success on happiness. The key I think is to know what you want and go for it. I've found along my life's journey that happiness with myself is success. When it comes to work, I give 100% but the true success comes when I get home to my husband. While I do think that there is a small degree of luck involved in making a person to be successful, I really think that the main thing that is needed for a person to be successful is that they are hard workers. The reason that I feel that this is the case is because of the fact that there are a lot of people that have a lot of potential for success in their lives but they are never able to realize that success because they don't try to work toward that success.

Hard work and success related each other. The things that write down in your luck if you do hard work. Luck change in every second so if you do work hard then your luck can change and things you can get in your life. I do believe in both. When the things are not in my luck then i will never get it doesn't matter how much we work hard. That's why some time we don't get the things what we deserve. Have a good time!

Hi tenrajj, an interesting post you have here. As for me I don't actually believe in luck. I believe more in God and His blessing. Maybe people would view the world as something that needs a lot of luck everyday. I was pretty tired of the idea of relying on luck. So I rely on God's blessing. Hard work alone would not be enough without God's blessing. It's always a matter of faith. In what you believe in. Success is achieved by the harmony of God's blessing on our hard work. God knows the best for us. If He know what we are doing is good He will not have second thoughts of blessing the works of our hands. He said in Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you..." He will always want to prosper us. And that's what I call BLESSING. Thanks. i guess you need both. no matter how you try your best, if the world is conspiring against you and nothing would go your way, then you might just die out of trying without succeeding. work hard and pray as hard, perhaps you'll get blessed with what you deserve. :)

Hi tenrajj, smart work along luck will leads to success, when you do hard work , if luck doesn't favors you, then you have to wait for a long time to show what you are and get popular or to get what you desire, it takes time for you at that time, where as when luck is on your side and you don't work hard then someday you will be wiped out from the place, i believe in this....

For me, I need luck, knowledge and hard work in order to be successful. I have seen a man who worked very hard in his whole life but his earning was just enough to cover the daily expenses. What will be the conclusion in our mind? We really need the opportunity or luck to perform our talent, to apply our knowledge and to work hard at the right given platform in order to be successful.

This is absolutely right my friend with hard work luck is also play a important in success. Some time we have seen we some people do more hard than others but they not get good result in business or in study anywhere. So I agree with you if luck is with you then you can goahead with hard work.

I think hardwork is more important than luck because if someone get apportunity by his luck and if he doesn't put his 100% efforts he wont get success.There are very rare cases when someone is ready to do hardwork but doesn't get apportunity by his luck.

I believe that success depends not only hard work, but the creative ability of the person to make decisions at the right time. I believe that is the one of the hinderance to many sucessful living.

Hmmm... Good question. As you stated I also think you need a bit of both. "Luck is what happens when preparation meets meets opportunity". Alas you can't just depend on luck you need hard work as well.

I believe in hard work. I won't say that luck won't matter at all. I think hard work is rewarded by good luck. Don't get scared of hard work because luck comes to those who do their part of work.

For me it's hard work that bring luck to a person. because when a person is hard working and very enthusiastic he is attracting positive energy to his live so more good things and opportunities come to his way, and we call it good luck because of the good things he's doing.

There may some occasions where some have a drift of some good luck but hard work is total success and satisfaction. There is no satisfaction in good luck, just the spare of the moment feeling. When one succeeds after having worked so hard then the feeling is forever lasting.

I think it is generally a combination of both, but without the hard work, luck really can't do miracles for you. So I do think that for most people, working hard is essential, so that you can be prepared and ready for lucky breaks when they come along.

yes u are right we do hard work we cant get anything just behind the hard work the luck was adjusted that will gives us to reach the target. See i am a hard worker but now this time only i doesn't earn rather some money. So what i do now there is a work hard i can do work hard. But even if luck mix with the hard work we will reach our victory, there is some type of work and luck is there to survive in our life.

We need hard work and a little luck and we will succeeded
