We all deal with unique or sometimes tough situations in our every day living. Our decisions are greatly affected with the way we think and respond in a given instance. It started out last week that i really felt tired about my job and planning on quitting, but I noticed that everytime i wake up i only think of my tiring job and tedious work processes that why I get more tired and don't want to work. However, i tried to reverse what I'm thinking, evertime I wake up, I always thank God for my work and told myself that I shouldn't be hearing any complains from myself until I ended my day. This somehow had a very positive effect on me. I don't fee that tired and useless anymore. Now, are you the positive or negative thinker?

I would say I have been in your position before and fortunately was able to feel the interest with my work again after I felt tired. I would say that I am both a negative and a positive thinker. I have always been positive before, happy and contented, but when my bf came to my life, everything changed in me. I became more of the negative thinker than a positive. I keep on thinking negatively on almost everything, when my bf says that I am thinking negative again I then try to think in the positive way. Although I can say it's really hard. I don't know why or how it happened but it just came when he came into my life. Even so, I try to think of God, like the way you did, and then I feel lighter and now trying to change the negativity into a positive angle.

"An optimist is a person who sees a green light everywhere, while the pessimist sees only the red stoplight. The truly wise person is colorblind." -Albert Schweitzer
I believe this quote to be true. We should see things as they are; however ,
I also believe in karma. I believe that if we put out good energy- not only by what we do, but by how we think- we will be able to gain something good from the situation, regardless of the particular situation itself.
Therefore, if we accept all things and take all we can from the experience, positive energy will naturally be drawn to us. Does that make sense?? lol, not the best at explaining things.
"Be interested. Learn from everything. Take nothing personally."
Namaste. :)

So, what I mean is that it's not about trying to always act like everything's perfect. Life isn't perfect. It's about creating a better world by loving life anyway.

Hey, you're from Dumaguete! I am too! I can almost guest the kind of work you do. I think you are working in a call center. A lot of people I know who work in call centers have that kind of feeling. It's like the job is choking them and killing them. Obviously, you and the others who feel burned out are into the wrong field. And regarding my answer to your question on whether I am a positive or negative thinker, I should say I am a little of both.

I remember when I had my first job. Before I go to office, I always tell to the Lord, " thank you for this day" I'm doing that everyday. Until I realized I'm doing that for two years.
I do the same thing when I was in college, I thank the Lord, for every day added to my days in school. Until I finish college.
At the end of the day, even life is stressful as can be, you know that already thank God for what he has done.
IF you are a thankful person, chances are positive aura will come to you, that means MORE BLESSING!

Yes, if a person always complain, he will always received complain (that's negative aura), but if a person is grateful, he will always received more blessing.
Blessing not just in material things but also in physical and spiritual aspect.
If you are thankful, you can have it all.
have a blessed day!

I used to be a negative person but now I have realized the value and power of positive thinking so I am converting into a positive thinker. To do so I say stop to my mind when thinking negatively and replace my negative thoughts to positive ones. Believe me this positivity is really making me a better person and life is giving me more and more opportunities.

Once upon a time, extremely negative! Now? Things are definitely getting better! I don't think that it does anyone any good to think negatively about things and life in general. I think that positive thinking definitely improves the state of your mind and it's good to use some tools that help in this process. For me I have my little ipod touch and I have bought some of the Rocky movies and also some of the soundtracks to those movies and they are great. I listen to the soundtrack regularly and it just gives me so much power deep inside!
I think whenever you are feeling down or low then it's good to use an aid of some kind. Now that I have found that my strategy works as regards getting me out of a negative frame of mind I will stick with it! Andrew

We all have so much to be grateful for and when I think about the people who have suffered so much in Japan, it's hard for me to give any weight to my problems. To keep myself positive, I write a list of 50 things that I have to be grateful for every morning. So many of the things that we all have that we consider basic necessities are cosidered luxuries by many people in this world.

Yes, i totally agree with you dheckerz. We really have to be thankful to God for everything we have. Our mental attitude really affects our everyday life. Before, i used to be pessimistic but now i'm trying my best to become positive in everthing that i do. It really helps. Indeed, life is more meaningful and happier with lesser complaints and resentment.

I can understand your situations ...
Life should be tsken in a sporty way by always keeping these words in mind . - "What ever happens, happens for our good only" , over there is no more positive thinking beyond this.
And do not have any grudge on the happennings. To say it is very easy but practically it is difficult.Still if you prctice this on a long run you will see a good change in you.
Always be positive in everything it is highly beneficial.

I cannot exactly say, whether i am a positive or a negative thinker.
When i am solving a problem in life, i would always have plan A and plan B. then when things don't work out well on plan A, i still have plan B.
So, i guess i am a negative thinker, after all.

I am a very optimistic person. There are times when i feel so bad but still i manage to make things a bit light. I believe that when you always think positive everything will turn out positively and will have a good result. no matter how difficult the situations are, we should not let those negative things ruin our life. Instead think them as an inspiration to move on. And trust God that there's always a solution to every problems. Just be yourself and do whatever you can to overcome all our dilemma.

Hi. dheckerz. In this troubled world, I try to be as positive as I can. Sometimes it is hard to when you want the blessings that God can give to you, but you have to wait patiently on it. As I think of God and consider his love in my life, I will try to stay focused and positive as much as I can. I have been through so much of stress in life, and the last thing that I need is to become bitter and negative. God has brought me this far, and I am not going to let Satan pull me back into his deceitful web!

I always try to always think positive. The number of problems that occurred, made me think negative. But I try, to try to think positive, so eager to live.

Depending on the situation, however I always tend to dwell on the positive side of everything.. Positive thinking really helps, this is one of the best ways to cope with STRESSORS in a STRESSFUL Environment and also helps one to search for the best option to deal with Challenges.. Chak!!!!

I am a positive thinker. I am an optimist. Remember what Buddha says." You are what you think". The way you thinks affects your environment. So think positively
