I hope this works. I'd like to get my life back to normal. Need to find my birth certificate.
This person is one of two Faith Healers in Canada that my friends know about. I'm going to keep on praying. Peace, love, wish me luck, and take care. Ever been to a Faith Healer? This is my first one. She asks for no money. But usually people do find a way to donate to her.

Hello writersedge
I am so glad I decided to log on this early here and see a discussion started by you. I know you were not going to read the responses from the other discussion, and maybe I am disrespecting your wishes here, for that I whole heartedly apologize my friend, but might I say you may want to at some point there are so many well wishes and strong prayers underway for you, which will go along with your will to fight this dear friend.
I do wish you all the best, luck and prayers my friend with the faith healer. I have not been to one and if in a situation similar to yours I would do all in my power to seek all I can to try and continue the fight. There is nothing but hope and faith to gain my friend, so this is something I too would do.
I am glad she is not asking for money, because that to me sounds like someone who is caring and willing to help. I see nothing wrong with donating because she is caring enough to take the time and advise, help and recommend.
Wishing you all the best my dear friend and still holding strong prayers for you.

@HWG, I thought of that too. Faith Healers should be like that, in my opinion. I used to have a neighbour who was a Faith Healer, two doors from my mother's house. I'm not sure if he still does it or not. I remembered that he never ask for anything. He just prays for them, sometimes even going without food for 2/3 days. I have never seen him unhappy in all those times. He seemed to have a lot more in those days. I haven't been to my mother's house in a while, so I don't know what is happening now. I believe that Faith can do a lot of things that we thought impossible.
@thesids, as always, well said.

Hi thesids
I am so proud of so many myLot friends and proud to be a part of their lives, as we all pull together to pray for others. I am a strong believer in the power of prayer.

I wish you well in all that you have decided to do. My prayers are being offered for you in your quest for your healing. I've not been to a faith healer myself but I do believe in the power of prayer and positive thinking.
The healer that you are seeing is no doubt thinking that even without a set fee, she will receive some money from you. You should think about this seriously. But I also know that you are thinking that you are at your rope's end. Please be careful in whatever you do.

I don't have much to donate.
The other healer that I've heard of has a set fee of $5. I like that better.

Hi yoyo and also octosthelegend
Well, it depends on who you call a faith healer. As per the definition - Faith Healer is no one extra ordinary. S/he can be just any person whom you have faith on. I have my moms experiences with one such person and I am quite happy to share that he never looked for any amount or any donation or even a glass of water from anyone.
This makes many people have the faith on such people. Maybe you have yet to find out one. Many people cannot see beyond the money these days and would even think that one who doesnt charge any, knows nothing. But then such a person cannot be the Faith Healer as Faith is missing here.
You need to have faith on that person you call faith healer.

Any "faith healer" is a scam and will not help you with any problems that you may have. He will only take your money.

Good luck! I have never been to a faith healer. I don't even know of any in my area..maybe in the mountains. There is an office here for alternative medicines and treatment that I have wondered about on occasion..but that's not the same. Take care and I'm thinking about you.

Hi writers
I am lucky to have found this discussion of yours. I have something to share here -
http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/2516890.aspx
(it is my attempt to gather the wishes/prayers of my friends for you)
Not much I can do as I am miles and miles away and also I am no healer or a doctor but I am confident that belief, faith and prayers all have the capacities to make miracles happen.
One suggestion - please do not lose hope as it is quite vital for all.
I do not have anytime visited any Faith Healer but I have read stories about some such people... not quite sure but I feel that when everything seems to fail, these - faith, prayers and good wishes to come foprward for help.

Hi writersedge, just wanted to let you know that your myLot friends have not forgotten you. In fact, there was a discussion made by another member requesting all the other members to pray for you.
May God be with you and I do hope from the bottom of my heart that you would be healed, failing that, not suffer too much. I hope I'm not offending you or anyone by that. I just don't want you to suffer, that's all.
Love and prayer from Jaipur, India.

No, I have never been to a faith healer. We do have annointings with oil in my faith for healing, but I am also reminded that there are Indian tribes that have ceremonies for healing, but it does not always include physical healing.
I meant to ask if you had tried Essiac Tea, a remedy that has been around a while for various cancers. When a friend had mentioned it to me, a few years ago, I made up my mind that if I were ever diagnosed with cancer I would use it. It will not harm and has been known to do a lot of good in healing cancers.

I pray that you will get better. It is all up to God. Sometimes He will show you a different way to get cured. You have to trust in Him, but make sure you do everything possible to get rid of the disease. I was told by my grandmother that God helps those who help themselves (not doing illegal or immoral stuff of course,) so I will pray that you also gain discretion in your way to get cured.

Faith Healer? I don't have that kind of faith so I doubt any faith healer would be of help to me. You see, you must think positively and faithfully. Usually the ones that don't ask for money are realistically 'in the zone'! I wish you luck and will look forward to your posting on how it turns out.
