Hi everyone Gissi here (I am a Dog)
I am here to reveal the new Member in our Family I am not to happy with him at the moment I know he is only a Baby but there is no need to jump on me and scare me because I was fast asleep, there is no need to start playing at early hours as it disturbs me and I do not do early morning , no need to make noise when playing and running round the Flat like a mad ...
I had to put him in his place a couple of times now as he sneaks up to me and smacks me so I have told him of, he tries to eat my Food when I am eating, so Mum takes him away, tells him of and then takes him to his food
He runs up Mum's back, he sits on her shoulder and he climbs up her Leg
He is so full of mischief and so annoying at times but I look after him and I protect him, I even tell Mum of when she tells the baby of even though I have to be honest he deserves it specially when he dug in Mum's Plant that she has on the Window ledge, wow he made some mess, Mum told him if she wanted the plant re potted she will do it herself, he just ran of, even I have not done that yet I mean they are Mum's and he has to learn not to mess with Mum's stuff
He walks all over the Laptop and presses things, he even tried to design a card, Mum told him it is not very good and she will do it herself, but he kept jumping back on the Laptop and making a mess of things, he has been in time out as well already he is only 6 1/2 weeks old and already time out? Mum put him in the Bathroom for 5 minutes because he kept pooing in the Living room in the corner so Mum was picking him up and putting him in the Litter box and she did this so much I lost count
Now there is Pepper on the places where he had done it, that made me sneeze as I wanted to know what Mum had put there
Oh wow it is mad right now I think I need a Holiday
Anyway everyone meet Buttons, the new, mad, cheeky Baby
Oh yes and his Sister Tink lives upstairs now she is cheeky
Do you know any cheeky Babies?? Mum says I am one but no ..........................not me I am sweet innocent Gissi

Gissi, auntie moon here. I think he's cute as a Button, no pun intented. lol I've had kittens and cats. Kittens are a hand full but full to have. He will be a lot of fun and company for you. And when he grows up he will settle down a lot and just lay around more. They are more independent than most little are but also more demanding as you found out. lol Have fun and patience with your new baby. hugs to you and your mom.

Hi Gissi...
Not quite the baby you were expecting, is he? But you have to remember, that at 6 1/2 weeks he still is very much a baby and really hasn't had enough time to learn everything his furmom had to tell him.

Hi Bar
Mum is telling him of because he keeps biting her and today she tapped his Nose because he really hurt Mum and as she has had to have 2 Teeth out today, she is not to good so for Buttons to be a pain is not a good Idea
I am telling him of for pouncing on me when I am on my Chair asleep

Gissi, you are late, you were suppose to tell us about the new addition days ago, I wondered what happened..Was Buttons so much a distraction you couldn't tell us sooner?
I do feel for you Gissi, cats can be mischievous, especially the young ones, but give him time, he'll out grow it, sooner or later...

Oh Gissi, I think you and Mum will have your hands full for quite some time, lol! What an adorable kitty and like I mentioned in the picture, looks so sweet and innocent, haha!
Yes, time outs sometimes have to be done when you are teaching what is right and wrong, especially to such a little mischievous one!
I think you will be very busy Gissi showing who's the boss. Better hide everything in the house or it will come up missing somehow. I'm sure in time little Buttons will learn but this will take a very long time. In the meantime Gissi, you can teach the kitty how to play nice. And let's hope she's not so tricky as to make it look like you've done a bad thing, and she sits watching with a kitty smile on her face.
Cute kitty Gabs, nice to see you! Hope you are feeling better. You'll need your strength for this one, haha!

Oh, Gissi, Buttons is really cute. But he'll grow up being not so cute to you, I bet. When I was reading the email, I just knew he was a kitten from the way you were describing him. Kittens do funny and stupid things so you'll have to be on your guard all of the time. But I just know you all will get along famously in the long run. Sounds like your Mum is doing all of the right things to teach him how to live in the house. Kitties usually train themselves to the litter box so it shouldn't be too long before he uses it exclusively. But you keep your eye on him. I'm sure you'll be reporting him to Mum. The pepper flakes are a good idea too. Cayenne works too. Please keep us all updated on you and Buttons. We still love you the most. I know you need to hear that right now.????

Hi Yoyo
He is one little Pain, Mum says so
He is being taught some Manners like do not use Mum's Leg as a Pin Cushion (what ever that is) do not bite Mum's Toes, Mum is not one of his Toys so if he wants to play rough he is to play with his Toys and not Mum
Mum has used the Pepper and yes it worked
Thank you Yoyo I love all my Friends to and it makes me feel good to hear that Mum has told me I am number 1 always for her
Big Hugsssssssssssss.............................Gissi

OMG Gissi...
You made me laugh so hard I peed in my nickers!!! When I first started reading, I assumed you had a new puppy. So, I rush to the pic to see what new puppy you had. I laughed soooo freakin hard when I saw Buttons is a cat!!! Just so you know...I've had cats & dogs together over most of the last 40 years!!! You two will become BEST of friends & you'll be looking for Buttons when he's hiding from you!!!
I find it hilarious that you're complaining about Buttons doing to you the exact SAME things you do to Mum!!! You try & play with her early in the morning while she's tired & trying to sleep. You play with her makeup brushes & you mess with her laptop when you're not getting enough attention & then you come here to complain that Mum is being mean to you!!!
Since Buttons is only 6-1/2 weeks old, you have plenty of time to train him to get in trouble & if ANYBODY knows how to get in trouble...IT IS YOU!!!!

Well Auntie M I am not sure what I prefer as Buttons is still behaving bad you know
But he is cute and I do protect him but I wish he would stop charging about, causing havoc, being full into mischief
I mean the mischief is my department not his, isn't it

Go on vacation from mischief for a bit my Little Man!!! Think about it...
IF you let Buttons be the mischief maker, Mum will be fussing at him. Then you can give her your sweet "I'm innocent" eyes & she will be showering you with love & kisses!!! When Buttons gets a little older, he won't have the energy to continue his mischief & you will have the opportunity to take back over (if you wish). However, in the meantime Mum will be giving you twice the love!!!!

Hi Mr. Gissi
Long time no hear. NO NO it's not your fault it is mine. I have been on the lazy streak for awhile but now back. I enjoy hearing about your stories.
It is sounding like you are having a bad week with the new addition. That's okay Im sure he will learn real quick and things will calm down. Maybe you could teach him a few things along the way.
Yes Gissi you are the sweet innocent one. Make sure mum knows that too..
Look forward in hearing from you real soon.

Welcome to the ways of the family Gissi...
It is quite unfair that memories of our childhood days (as so young as the baby is) fade off... and this is a blessing from the Lord, that we re-live those moments in out kids... Learn that to make your life simpler, easier and enjoyable...
You are on my side as I cannot get someone saying Happy Mother's Day to me ever... Maybe we will have to wait till the Happy Father's Day
Love you.

Hi Gabs,
Congrats on your new addition! I thought Buttons is a dog hehehehe found he is a cat :). How's Gissi taking it? My Ginger can't get along with cats since the day our neighbor's cat clawed her in the back while she was walking. So every time now she sees a cat she gets mad and act like a crazy dog. How's Gissi by the way?

Hello Gissi,
My Mom first read to me your message from the email box. There was no photo of Buttons here, so I thought you were talking about a new dog in the house. I would have been glad for you, because I always loved the idea of having a brother or a sister to play with. But then I saw the picture here and I was petrified. You were talking about a C.A.T.!
Wow, Gissi, you made me droll! You know how I would like to have a cat to chase around the house! I'm sure my Mom would be glad to see the show (even though, when I chase a cat outside she tries to stop me ).
Your story is like Garfield's. Only that you're not a cat and Button is not a dog.
Don't let Buttons ruin your peaceful life, Gissi. Try to explain him how things works over there. I'm sure you'll succeed.
Love, Binne

Hello Gissi,
I'm glad to hear from you, I thought you forgot us
Let me see if I understood well: you don't chase C.A.T.s? But what if they pass by you and they suddenly start running with their tail up? Isn't it a sign that they want to play? Do I misunderstand their language? Because this is when I start chasing a cat. I don't want to do any harm to them, on the contrary, I'd like to be friends with them but what to do when they make me chase them? I'm only a dog, you know?
I knew you are wiser. Where have you learned cats' language?

Hello Gissi,
Oh! you sweet innocent Gissi, NOT!!! lol! now you have a new baby brother to look after and he will get into to all sorts but you have to be patient with him, why not teach him how to use Mum's laptop so he can write to your friends here? I have wo cheeky cats here as you know but they never seen doggies before so they are scared of you when you came last time, so give your little babu brother a chance and soon he will settle and will know his place, you are a top dog Gissi and he will listen to you when he is a little older so at the moment put up with his little games and I know you really love his cheekyness anyway. have fun with your little brother ok, big hus from your auntie Tamara.

Hi Gissi! It's your cousins Star & Luna! Remember we are cats too! Don't
worry, Buttons will be ok as soon as he learns about what he should and
shouldn't do! We weren't quite as bad as he sounds. We already knew how
to use the litterbox when we got to Mom's house. We never dug in her plants
either! We do walk on her laptop now and then (especially Star) and she get's
very upset. And Luna digs into the carpet, which is really being a bad kitty!
It will take a little while for him to get used to being a good kitty. He is
very young you know. He is a real baby kitty. Just try and help him and understand
that he is just playing and trying to be your friend when he jumps on you! I know
you will put him in his place. But, remember he is a cat, and cats are different
than doggies! I think you will learn to get along with him if you give him a
chance! Nice to talk to you again Gissi and glad that you are feeling better!
We have missed you. Love Star & Luna!

Gissi now be patient with buttons. Buttons needs time to break in and learn all the rules. Be firm yet gentle as soon buttons and you will be best pals.
I did not realize that I would be gaining a kitty as a nephew but it works for me, but remember Gissi no matter how much love I can share you will always be my special one.
Being first born is always Special.
Hugs and kisses from Auntie hardworkinggurl and do send Mum some of them on her special day today.
