Hi friends, i am back to Mylot. I think this is the only site which supports me from long time, because i registered this site two month ago and i worked rare in this site. But today when i entered my Username and Password then it allowed me inside to share my feelings with you all. But this didn't happen in my Office.
I took 4 days sick leave and i came back to my home town and after 4 days i wasn't well or cure from the ill so i called up and informed to my manager. He said "Its ok take rest and come after you get cure not an issue". Then after 2 days again i called him and informed that my grand mother expired then he said ok then come by next week. But today when i went to the office then he called me and told that because of taking too many leaves he TERMINATED me from that organization and he gave me a letter which is nothing but TERMINATION LETTER. I got shocked, because i was in touch with him every two days once and even told the reason too, but that man didn't care about the facts. Thats why i came here to share my feelings with you guys. Thanks to Mylot which still allows me to work in it.

I'm really sorry to hear that. Sorry for the lost of your grand mother and for the lost of your job. Don't be angry for what your boss has decided. He may have reasons other than the absences you have. If you wish to know the reasons why he has given you that termination letter, I guess you have the right to ask anyway. Don't be discouraged by this but make this as your means of to look for a better job. Mylot sure is the best site where you can let go of your feelings. Good luck on the job hunt.

Ow, that is really very bad of your employer then :(
I really am sorry for your lost. They should have even put on the note why they terminated you. At least you will know where you have failed them. Anyway, you know deep inside that you didn't do anything wrong and that you did your best as their employee. There are jobs waiting for you so go for it!

Oh, that is horrible news Lou. My sympathies.. Anyway, do not be disheartened with your misfortune. It is unfair for you to be terminated on the grounds of your absences, considering that those absences are with consent. I suggest that you seek help from an employment agency governed by the state and ask for an advice as to what to do. Basically, you can rebut on the terms of your termination on the grounds of illegal dismissal. I further suggest that you take action on it immediately because the time element is also important. Good luck!

That is a pretty normal reaction, Lou. I would be surprised myself if faced with that same situation. Just stay positive and surely you will find a far greater employment opportunity.

That's just really too bad. He should have informed you that if you take too many leaves, he will terminate you. Perhaps he misunderstood that you were probably making excuses just to skip work? Maybe he was thinking like that so he decided to terminate you. I hope you'll be able to talk it out of him and remove that termination thing. :[

Dont sit and cry over what you lost. Look for another job. that is the best option out there. i wont talk anything soft to comfort you. you should become a tough person - physically and mentally. only then you will survive in this tough world. so no sympathies, but there is alway good wishes that you will find a better job and move up the ladder faster then the one you were terminated from.
Good Luck to you, friend.

I am sorry to hear you have lost your job. Consider the following options: Can you take up similar job only or in another line? If you can take job in another line are you fully equipped to meet the challenge? Is it necessary for you to improve your knowledge/qualification for going ahead. Once you are clear about it, seek help from quarters you have not sought so far. Don't feel shy. Don't expect people to respond positively. I will suggest your spending reasonable time per day only on internet. Balance time you have to use for meeting new employers. You may even ask your previous manager to suggest any other new employment.
You will get soon. be in toch

Yes friend i do have that kind of hope and even i tried few companies and waiting for the result too. Basically i am looking for the same line where i can continue my work because i have enough years of experience in that. Even i contacted previous colleagues they are also in touch and they have given few companies list and i have to try out with those too.

I am so sorry to hear that your grandmother passed away. The boss might not have believed that after you wound up taking time off from being sick. I understand though when bosses fire people who take that much time off because they arent left without someone to work and need to hire someone else to take their place. Perhaps you took days off before this and were over the limit of sick days that that boss allows. I am very sorry you lost your job. Nice to see you around mylot. Hope things start looking up for you.

Yes even that made to think about my grand mother and i was sick but my previous won't agree with that. I hope in future it should not happen with me again, not only for me but also for any one in this world. Because still i feel that when i got fired from that company.

Oh lou, i am really sorry that such a thing has happened to you and that you have lost your job.It is a cruel world we live in and sometimes people behave without understanding and take decisions which hurt us.As far as your boss is concerned i feel that he must have thought that you were just giving excuses not to come for work and by taking so much of leave he must have felt that you were not sincere, so thats why he terminated you.Anyway what has happened cannot be rolled back.I am sure you will get a better job in some good concern very soon.I wish you all the best for that.

Hi Lou,
Losing a job and a loved one almost at the same time could be really heartbreaking, and I understand how shocking it could be to know that you lost your job after just losing a loved one. But don't let this pull you down, instead, take it as a challenge, who knows this could be a blessing in disguise and there is actually a better opportunity waiting for you outside of the job you just lost. If you are able to rise above all these, your grandmother who has just been laid to rest will be very proud of you. Good luck!

Well, frequent leaves and absences are not tolerated by many companies. Your absences just happened in a series so your boss must have thought that you were only giving alibis and not actually serious with your job. I am sorry. I would have thought the same way too if I were your boss.

Hi Lou,
It's are bad news and I know many people who had in the same situation. Some of them was really ill, but some make fake ill. You know government pays them they also got some money from their job. But, sometimes Boss do not like speculants and sometimes It is hard to know truth. I know that you was ill and can't be in work on that days, but you know in nowadays people can't allow to be sick, because It can cost a job. It is nice that you have come back to myLot family. I hope you will feel better soon. Good luck, Have a nice day! :)

Wow, that sucks lou, I have to believe that some things happen for a reason. Maybe there is a better job out there for you. I'm sure your grandmother is in a better place and maybe you are headed to a better job after all this. Keep your chin up and don't let that mean bossman get the better of you.
Never be afraid to share.
:)
