I'm craving for chocolate cake today but i'm broke

i wish i could buy you a chocolate cake!!! =D

I'm really craving for some juicy crispy chicken too but I'm totally broke as well. Anyway even if I had the money I wouldn't buy one coz I've been craving for the longest time and the more I eat, I wanna eat more. So now I'm trying to control my cravings.

I was wanting some cake the other day and didn't have any eggs or milk. I found a recipe that I could make using just a few ingredients that I had in the cabinets that didn't call for eggs or milk. I made it and made a powdered sugar/water glaze. I turned out surprisingly well considering my parameters. It's nicknamed Wacky Cake and listed at allrecipes.com as Quick Cake. You might want to give it a look for the next time you're short on money.

Knowing me I would just get two cakes and enjoy them in small incraments. Probably a Pepperidge Farm one. They are great! German chocolate and nicely thick icing. I'm not really helping am I. Life goes on and ya have to give yourself little special things now then. Maybe not two but.....

you make me drool. i'm a chocolate cake lover and i can't resist all kinds of chocolate cake. but then i have to stay away from it if i don't want to get fatter. chocolate cake for lunch is fine as long as you eat 2 whole plates of it and not just a slice or two. the chocolate itself will satisfy your hunger. go and grab it but don't eat infront of me otherwise, you'll find that only the plate is left before you open your mouth.:)

Basically the simple fact is that if you do not have enough money for something (chocolate cake anything) then you can not have it. No matter how string the craving.

Sorry could not help you today but when you get paid make yourself a big cherry chocolate cake. Only takes 4 ingredients. take a regular size dark chocolate cake mix, 1 can of cherry pie filling, 3 eggs and 1 tsp of vanilla. mix all these ingredients together. batter will be lumpy do not use egg beater!!! put mixture in 9x13 cake pan. bake 35 to 45 min on 350 in oven. Trust me this is one of the most moist cakes you will ever eat. This may help some on limited incomes that can't afford a lot of ingredients. Let me know if you try it. I actually like it without frosting its so moist. And less calories LOL But its a great quick easy recipe!

Reading this discussion has me craving some chocolate cake now. Lols But, if your heart is craving some cake then maybe you should buy a slice of cake.

I like to eat Chocolate Nesquik powder with a spoon...HAHAHA It's good quick fix for a chocolate craving. My husband always laugh and stares at me like I'm a weirdo when I do this. Well, I guess he has that right...it is a little weird. I've also done the same thing with hot cocoa mix. :-)

I'm craving for chocolates and cheesecake for the longest time now. I got one down: chocolates. Went to Subic and bought chocolates for myself and the kiddies at home... So far, I only need to give in to my cheesecake cravings. Still thinking if it's gonna be Jack's Loft or the new pastry shop in Trinoma, Parvati... Decisions, decisions...

I feel your pain tough decision lol. I don't know which one I would choose. I would probably choose the cake but might regret it later, but if I go with the full lunch I might be mad at myself for not getting the cake. I would probably ask my friend for a few extra dollars so I can get the two and pay them back when I got paid :)
