I feel offended
Not all task creators are scammers. I am paying those who complete my task almost immediately, depending whether I am online or not.
Have you contacted the user who created the task?

Awww mysdianait... I understand what you mean. The terms "scam" and "scammer" are thrown around FAR too much, if you ask me. Just because someone doesn't get what they feel they are entitled to instantly, its just as suddenly a "scam". You are certainly known to be a very honest, trustworthy person and I like to believe that most who create tasks for us here are as well There might be a few bad apples on every tree but you, friend, are not one of them :)

Thank you!
I agree that internet has deformed the meaning of several words. I would be going off topic if I list them here but I certainly include your example in the list, and for those reasons.
I dread to think what the next generation will expect... their meal on the table without even doing the shopping first?

I agree with thinkingoutloud.
Mysdianait, you shouldn't be offended! You are most definitely not a scammer, and thinkingoutloud is right... "scam and "scammer" are thrown around way too much. :( I hear it not just on here... but all around the internet about many websites, companies, and people. Just because there was a misunderstanding. :( Even the most trusted websites, companies, or people are accused of being scammers once and a while by an unsatisfied customer. :/

sua006, payment/reward is not instantaneous and it also NOT guaranteed. You must allow adequate time for the task creator to review your work and to ensure that you have completely fulfilled the requirements for the task. If you are deemed to have finished it correctly, your task will be accepted and the reward will be added to your myLot balance. If you look in your tasks dashboard, you will see your task status as "pending"... you must allow some time before you question the validity of the task creator.
In general, the tasks section here is very reliable and it's unfair to use the term "scammer" unless you have allowed an appropriate amount of time for review and reward.
If you have not done so already, please review the FAQ called "Tasks as Worker" here: http://www.mylot.com/o/faq/faq21.aspx You will see that it is recommended that a task be allowed to remain pending for at least one week before inquiring with the creator. If you have questions about a specific task, send a friend request to the task creator and, once accepted, you can communicate privately regarding your concerns.
Hope this helps :)

Thanks for the support, mike :) I know a lot of people have issues with the tasks here but I really don't. I've been fortunate to make a very good return for my writing work and I'm truly appreciative of that. It's not for everyone, of course, but for those of us that do enjoy them, it's hard to see the word "scam" come into play yet again. It's just one of those words that's starting to set my hair on end because it's, as you said, being misused

Hi sua,
No friend, all task creators have their parameter. If you commit gross mistakes in the response or comment or your discussion you would get less amount of money.
May be the task you accepted was not well written the creator has the right to reject it. Once I want for dressing and she could not
You can lodge complaint to the GM. the authority might lose the income or the income would not be as he/she expects.

I used to do the tasks here but then one of the creators did not pay me so I stopped doing them. I felt I was scammed too, kept mum about it but I still couldn't believe someone from myLot can do it. I guess we just have to be more careful in doing them as scammers are everywhere, and we honest workers become easy prey to unscrupulous individuals.

are you sure that you complete the task in given time ? It's time was 24 hours to complete 20 post. How much you take to complete the 20 post. I too took the same task and get reward.

may be. But if he did not get paid these will be some problem. Task creator should state the reason for not approving his task.

This is very unfortunate , but as i have found i have been paid for all of the tasks that i have done except for just 1.For the most part my lot tasks i a great way for you to boost earnings. It does take a reasonable amount of time and effort in order to to the task the way the creator wants and even if that is done their is always a chance they are not going to pay for the work you have done for them.I feel you should contact the creator again and if he or she does not have a good reason for rejecting the work you should consider contacting the admin.
