so, how well do you know yourself? have you ever doubted yourself in some instances... like when you are in a situation.. do you know yourself well that you can say exactly that you can get out of it.. that you can do this and that.. etc..
in terms of emotions... how well do you know yourself to say that you are in love, that you are out of love or that you are falling in love with someone else?
so how well do you know yourself?

I know myself enough to know what to do when I'm being stuck in an confusing situation, enough to know why I feel like this or like that, enough to understand why I'm doing what I do. I can control my emotion pretty well. Sometime I feel sad, confused, embarrassing,.., some kinds of negative feeling. And I can see it, I can very quickly get out of that emotion, and make myself happy, smiley, funny again ^^. That is the greatest skill I've learned recently. It's so helpful.

I honestly can say that until now I don't know myself well enough. Until now, I even surprise myself! It's an everyday struggle I tell you and I guess that's part of what we call life. I'm still learning, continuously, about myself. And I guess that's a good thing! Life would be boring if we know everything even ourselves!

I guess sometimes I still get surprised when I did something which is far beyond my imagination. But it's because I knew I did my best.. They say there is a "self smart".. it is a natural intelligence if you knew yourself more. you know your capabilities, your strength, your attitude, etc. But still, I guess, it is as simply as " I am the director of my own life, so I guess I knew myself more than anyone else."

hi chiyhosan well as I am 84 I would not have lived this long had I not known myself pretty well and how to face situations and come out pretty well most of the time. But there are times when others put you in a
situation that you have no way of controlling at all. thus my son lost his job, I his elderly mom was sharing a 2 bedroom apartment with him and suddenly he lost his job.He could not get another job and we ran out of money were evicted and all I had was my small social security check we were made homeless so as I am elderly and diabetic my son insisted i come here to Gold Crest so I would have a place to live and he got put into a gov sponsored apt with three other guys. the economy stayed bad and now he still has only a part time job so we cannot get back into an apartment until he gets a full time job. this was a situation in which I had no control at all. so I still know myself
quite well.I and my son are survivors I will say this.

I really can't say that I know myself completely. Although I am comfortable in my own skin, I also know that I deal with a lot of insecurities deep within. And all these insecurities usually come out at tough situations. I do a lot of second guessing which sometimes lead me to trouble.

Nice topic you have here..
I honestly think I know myself 50-60% only. I always keep telling others that we know more ourselves that what others know us. But I guess I am wrong with that. I guess others know us better than we know ourselves. I am less likely to say that in situations I think I know how to handle them but when I think of it again, I think I could say that I really don't know what the real me has to do to deal with a certain situation. Well anyway, there is still room for improvement and room for us to grow and learn more what we really are.

Yup throughout the years of getting older and more mature , the stuffs i do surprise me, and even know i am sometime surprise myself the bad and the good too.Falling in love and broking love is norm for me, and i tend to see love is more of a process with it chances pro and con.And i don give big marks for it and more cautious and more open about it.It comes and it goes depends on comptability and timing and situation.

I believe all of us has different character to handle our own emotions..but asking how well do I know myself, it is a 100% knowing. Getting in and out of the situation depends on the wisdom that you put on it. Before getting into a certain situation, one should really think about it first. Think hundred times before committing yourself into something, especially when it comes to love. I take things as it happens. Personally, i am not the person who dwells much on the bad situation. I just let it go..cry for a moment then forget about it. We must move forward, no need to dwell much in the past for us to carry on. Have a nice day!

I guess knowing yourself is as deep as it can be. I know myself full well: my tendencies, emotional responses, wants, needs, drives, etc.. Living for 26 years as myself set me up pretty well for that.

My 29 years or so of living my life had lead me to a lot of self discoveries. I had been into a lot of situations where I find myself making decisions that inevitably defined me: my character, my emotions that will be invoked, etc.
I am grateful that for the past and present life situation that I have, I have been in constant check of myself. Though there are times that I fail to do the right decisions and thus the failings, I still am grateful for it had been "me myself" who had made them. In such, I was taught about various life lessons that I would not have otherwise learned.
Have a good weekend!

I'd say I know myself pretty well in the sense that if I were to get in a situation I would know exactly what I was going to do, and if I didn't, I would do something to buy me time until I figured it out. I would like to say that I'm emotionally intelligent with myself. I understand why I feel certain ways and what to do about them. Now for the love thing, that's really tricky. I mean how does anyone really know that for sure?
