I finally some of my VALID ID's.

Hello Lotters, I just wanted to share this good news because It's nice to have other Valid ID's for future transactions. Although, I already have a Postal ID and Passport which will both Expire until 2013, but i guess it's just too far away. I was reminded about getting my ID from the Barangay Post so i went there. upon receiving it, i didn't realized the kagawad also had my Voter's ID. then all this time my voters ID had been in their drawer for a while. the brgy ID looks cooler though than the voters that made it look like cheap paper. So, how many Valid's you have and when is the Expiration? better check on them from time to time or you may end up rushing when you need to renew it. Have a Nice day

I only got my driver's license and PRC id to show with. I'm still planning to get a passport and SSS id. I never heard of a Barangay ID before. What is that id for? Is it just a validation that you are a residence of that barangay? Also, I haven't claimed my voter's id. I just have my driver's license renewed last year so no worries about it. I still don't have my TIN id too. Oh my! I still got a lot of ids to process. I hope I get all the time to process them as soon as possible. Thanks for the reminder LetranKnight25!

Hello Agent Gulaman (SIR!) What's PRC? nope i don't drive so i don't have a driver's license. i think barangay ID is a validation that you're a resident of that place where you reside, renters have a different Brgy ID though. as for TIN ID? you can just go there and fill up application from BIR. but if you want something specific, here it is. not a referral LINK. http://www.ehow.com/how_4969373_philippines-tax-identification-number.html

Why do you have to call me sir? I tried browsing your profile but no age indicated there. I'm still young! Haha! I see you are from Imus. I'm currently residing in Cavite because I work there but originally I'm from Metro Manila. PRC stands for Professional Regulation Commission. They are the ones regulating the practice and services of professionals in the Philippines. I may not seem to be one, but I am an engineer. Haha! Thanks for the information regarding TIN application. When I get the time, I am sure to process it. I just need to free up a workday weekday to handle those identifications. Thanks for the heads up regarding that!

Hello insulin, Unless you travel, you can't use the passport for showing identification because if it's gets lost you might have a very expensive replacement. NBI clearance is required if you are hired from the JOB, same goes with police clearance. but when it comes to like banks and sorts you will need valid id's other than the passport.

I am pretty good about making sure my Id's are up to date. Both my drivers license and State id expire on the same dates and my passport has a while yet. I am grateful for the friendly reminders that do come in the mail so I usually am good about doing so before they expire. It is something easily forgettable when one has them tucked away. But I have the best reminder person here at home, my boyfriend lol, as he is very meticulous about updating his and he knows when mine do also so if I was to forget he will definitely remind me. lol

Hello hardworkinggurl, At least you still have you're passport for any kind of validation, you should renew them or you might need them some day. it's a good thing that you're boyfriend is actually reminding you a lot so that you can easily get it done on time or earlier than that.

There was a proposal before that all Filipinos should have a single I.D. that would integrate all our valid ids since we are now in the computerized age and all record of the valid ids we have could all be accessed from the single id, I love the idea but it drew so much flack since the contention was it violated our rights, think it was more about the right to privacy and not so sure, I have a postal ID, driver's licence although I hate driving and would rather have the family driver do that for me,barnagay clearance comes with securing business permit, well my voter's id I lost when I lost my wallet playing billards, I would have given them the money in the wallet had they just returned the ID but noody ever did

Hello louievill, Unfortunately, the leftist doesn't want something like that because they think it will lead to government abuse and increase of extra judicial killings. but frankly speaking it's those leftist and rebels that doesn't want it because they can easily be identified and captured at the same time..i guess having so many valid ids has it's advantage.

Hello bhabycatch I think you need to have to process you're passport. just a warning though, once you regain the new passport, make sure you don't loose it again or you'll be banned for future travels, like permanently. as for me, since my passport renewal, I always keep it at home and prefer my other valid ID's first.

Hi! It's really advantageous to have more than one valid IDs. I used to have problems when I only had my school ID to present, and when I was not a student anymore, I could not present anything until I got employed and got my company ID. I still haven't got my voter's ID although it's been like ages since I registered for the national elections. I do have my PRC license aside from my company ID, and I have my renewed passport. When I still didn't have my PRC license, I used to use my company ID and passport. Now I only use my PRC license and my company ID. I used to have a postal ID back when I was a student but there was once a time I applied for something and they said it wasn't valid so I discarded it. I don't remember anymore what did I apply for it then. I think it was a bank. Anyway, congrats to you!

Hello secretbear, well, you don't have to worry that much if you happen to have a company ID. i hope you remember that Valid ID's that were not actually valid so that i won't bring them around. I never dare apply to a bank because i know it's MATH and i hate it

Hmmm...Do note that some company id's are not considered valid by some institutions and establishments. I know that identification cards of well known companies are the only ones that are accepted to be valid. I suggest, just get a hold of all the identification cards that you can get. Nothing will really hurt if you get those id's.

That is certainly a great development for you. Government issued ID' are really a necessity these days. Without them it would be difficult to transact important business such as opening a bank account and claiming money etc. I have a lot of ID's but perhaps the major ones are what I consider important.. My drivers license, my SSS, my Pag Ibig, and my Passport.
• Philippines

Hello JPSO, Yes, finally, except that i also like to have the SSS and NBI card though but what i hate about the NBI is the filling long line. last time i renew my clearance, I was at the imus kiosk around 4am and the line is already FULL, but i was able to renew it. am happy that i have the postal, voters ID and taxpayers ID which were very important.

well getting a number of valid IDs here in the country can be a bit annoying and taxing. imagine lining up to fill out forms, get pictures taken and then having to go back on another day to pick up the actual ID... so irritating!!! well, i have a number of government issued IDs... i have the SSS ID, the NBI ID, a postal ID, and my passport. both my passport and postal ID expire on 2013. the SSS ID and NBI ID don't have expiry dates so i guess both are good. nice idea about getting a barangay ID. that would be my next plan, to get myself a barangay ID. cheers!!!

for the nbi ID i got the digital one which if i remember correctly lasts for a good six years so it'll be awhile until i worry about that. i'll check tomorrow for the barangay ID. nope, i don't bring my passport and just keep it at home. i mainly use the SSS and nbi IDs when i'm asked to verify my identity. the postal ID i don't bring too much because it is sized bigger than the usual IDs.

Hello allen, It seems like majority of the mylotters here will have to save some money to renew their POSTAL ID on 2013. as for the NBI ID, i think you still need to renew that per year, which is something upsets me because the validity of a card should be at least two years. and renewing just you're NBI card every year is for me a waste of money and time (because you have to fall in line).you have to asked if there's available there in your barangay because i think not all has it nor have funds for it. i think you're postal ID is you're main valid ID for now. don't bring you're passport or you might loose it.

Digital one? for six years?. wow, i'd better search on this, could you give me details? thank you.

I have a driver's license, SSS ID, Voter's ID but gees I don't have a Barangay ID. Is that considered a valid ID? I also have the Taxpayer's ID, Pag-ibig and Philhealth IDs but they do not have pictures on it. Are they considered valid IDs too? I also have a Philippine Passport. I just got my renewed passport and am hoping for a vacation soon.

Hello karagala, Would you help me out on how to acquire for an SSS ID? well, we have that here in our subdivision but am not sure if your area can give one. Passport is important but don't bring it because you might risk loosing it and it would be hard to apply for another replacement. i was warned, one more loss or i'd be blacklisted from going to another country.

I no longer have a valid passport and generally all I use is my driver’s licence for identification purposes as it has my photograph, address and signature on it. Aside from a birth certificate I have no other documents that I use but I don’t usually have any problems. I am hoping to obtain a passport soon which may mean that travelling may be on the horizon!

Hello amora, for what transaction? usually for applying for banks you need valid ID's. i think there isn't an easy way to process you're future ID's unless you need them for a reason. for example, i got a passport because it was required for me because of application abroad, which i didn't pass. then, voters ID when i decided at legal age to vote back in 2005, which i deeply regret now.. as for the TIN? i got it in a job fair way back.

Hello aaoandres, If you want to vote then you can register in the nearest comelec kiosk or office. as for the second sentence that you mentioned, at least that would fine. you can also apply for a postal ID which cost 200 pesos plus. but for the tax payer ID and Voters ID, you don't have to renew them.

I have not too many valid Id's which is quite frustrating since It's always required at government transactions. I have the postal and the passport (the green issue before the maroon one)as well. I can easily get a barangay ID since I live 5 minutes away from the barangay hall. Lucky you, you have your voter's ID. Mine was still in my father's home province. My parents kinda bullied me into getting into one but I think they made the right call. Unfortunately, I still don't have it since my parents don't bother to pick it up. I keep proding them but they say that it won't get lost (as I believe that). My brother's ID is in the same situation. Funny enough, I was registered to vote in my father's home province but I live in my mother's home province. Come election day, I usually at odd on whom to vote (I was thinking of ditching the next election for many reasons). Thanks for teh advice regarding the renewal. Lines at government building are always a killer.

Hello Jeane, Well, for me, the voters ID is nothing than another Valid ID that i can use for my requirements in the future. as for me, unless i see another worthy candidate, I am thinking of ditching the election 2013 and 2016 as well. i think you can have it remade for some reason. as for the Voters ID? i think it's forever there. mine isn't laminated i think comelec is thrifting money

Since I started voting, I never had a chance to see any voter's ID. I don't understand why our Comelec officials don't bother to issue one for us voters in our barangay. Anyway, I don't need it as of the moment for I have many valid IDs. I have my passport, driver's license, PRC ID, SSS, office, etc.

Hello dorisday, This is the second time i had voted back in 2010, but only few weeks ago this 2011 where i got my Voters ID. i have actually laminated it today to have a strong stance in the future. i don't want it's file disappearing. am not sure if barangay ID is needed in other companies, but it could be handy though, but il just bring the voters ID instead.

ecard stands for electronic card, i guess. government employees and/or gsis members are issued with this ecard. this card serves as an atm card (Union Bank) and an identification card for GSIS.

Hello Neildc, How are you BUDDY! wow you sure have a lot of cards there. but i wonder what the ecard stands for? probably that agency card is for the govt. agency you worked for. it's really an advantage working in the government agency because you get to have a govt. ID processed easily for you

Hello aerous, And the good thing there is that i have it Laminated. i think you should complained it, because you might need it as a important valid ID. besides, am sure you can request for it, there's no way they haven't process that? i wonder when did you registered, you can only register ONCE. maybe you can give a call now to get the card if it has made already

I have 3 valid ID's, my company ID which doesn't have any expiration date, voter's Id which has recently arrived after 8 years and I don't know if voter's ID has any expiration and I have my Professional ID or PRC ID which has recently expired an I am now waiting on the new one that I have renewed which will arrive in 5 months..so I think that makes the valid ID count to 2 now. And I think Passports are considered valid ID. IT's also one way to identify ourselves and is used for transactions that requires valid ID right? So I have 3 valid and non-expired ID's all in all. :)

Hello LetranKnight, it been a while my friend. Going back to ID, are you considering that Voters ID is available at Barangay Post? Because it that applies to all. I might considering going to Barangay Post to claim mine. I also completing my Valid ID's, I still working out on my Driver's License, Voters ID and PRC.

Hello syoti Well, am doing good here, you seem to be busy, it's nice of you to hang around here again. actually one of the members of kagawad recognized my voters ID in their drawers, then they included it with my barangay ID. you should asked you're barangay if they have voter's ID hanging or hiding in one ofthe drawers, just asked nothing wrong with that.

I just sign up for the SSS ID. It's been a year and a half since SSS did not issue any ID that's why I'm just able to get the E6 last Friday I will wait for about a month before I get the precious SSS ID. I want to know when did you registered as a voter? I have register last 2008 and neither the barangay or the comelec has my ID. They said it is not yet issued.

Hello rhan, I don't know if i can apply for an SSS ID since i don't have a job. but i have been planning to continue my contirbution. I registered back in 2005 before the election where Gloria Arroyo won the election. i think it's gonna take you longer before you have acquired it. you can call for the Nearest branch if there's already a deliver from those who registered back in 2008. unfortunately as for my voters ID, i only got just about a WEEK ago
