how has your life changed with the use of computer?

Thanks to my computer I spend most of my time at home. I hardly call anyone but whatever free time I have I will be spending on my pc doing whatever it allows me to. It has certainly changed my life. I am more knowledgeable and well informed on many subjects.

It is really a big difference compared before when I wasn't have laptop. I spend alot of my time reading books and magazines but now all my time consume infront of my laptop. I'm a little bit lazy nowadays reading any materials. I prepared to watch news on my laptop than reading it in any newspaper. I felt internet with my laptop more updated than newspaper.

The computer and internet have changed life of most people in terms of ways of communication, working, playing, etc. Before, we write letters, now we send emails; Before, we do lots of writing jobs, now we type a lot when working. Before, we spend several hours in choosing clothes, and felt very tired, now we can browse new style of clothes on the internet while drinking a cup of coffee. Before, it is impossible to know so many people from other parts of the country, to say nothing of meet someone from other countries, now it is so easy to talk and see friends from other parts of the world. Before, there were not online jobs, and if you want to survive, you must go out to work, now you can stay at home, or even lie in bed to work with one computer and internet connection. Of course, before, we can't mylot, and i don't know you, now we can make friends easily and communicate with each other in Mylot.

Computers has really changed my life so much. What you said were all true. It made our lives more fast and easy. Don't know what a word mean? Simply type it online and search its meaning and within seconds, the answer is all there! Communication? The best! I think without it, my life will be really boring and lifeless. My bf is in another country working and computer has really made a big impact in our communication.

The way the computer and the internet have changed my life is that now I always spend my spare time on them.

Well, my main thing is that I don't have to get 'dressed' (in anything but my PJs) before I 'cruise the Internet-neighborhood.' See, my brain-injury makes it harder work to organize myself, & it's IMPOSSIBLE to do so enough to 'get a car' & 'get a license' & all that stuff; plus 'here in Oklahoma, "getting from point-A to point-B" means you NEED a car.' (They say in car-commercials, even though it's also true ...) That's true because architects set up a lot of Oklahoma's cities to have SPRAWL---wide-open spaces of NOTHING between individuals and -the products-&-activities they need. As "car-ownership" and "myself" are mutually-exclusive events (car-owning is not me, & vice-versa), I'm not going anywhere unless a) someone is taking me there or b) it's just a walk away. Before the Internet, my reading and writing couldn't move beyond my doorstep (or a parkbench nearby). Now---well, it still doesn't REALLY go any further; but it VIRTUALLY falls all over the world like meteoric rain!

Indeed my life had changed a lot since i have a computer and go online. It is easy for me to keep in touch with my family and friends. I don't have to wait for the snail mail to arrive or spending too much money into phone calls. I can get instant replies and news from them, whenever they are online through YM. I even can earn some extra income through online, whenever i am free. I can even read news online whenever i had forgotten to buy my daily newspaper. I really like using computer a lot.

Since i have been on the internet i have found that i spend more time on it, rather than sitting watching tv.Also i have noticed that there are a lot of people that i get to chat to, who i would not normally chat to.I think that there are more people on here now than there was just a few years ago and i will say that there are lots of my friends that are all on the internet now.I think that it is also great for children to get the use of a pc, as that is what people will be using more in their jobs in years to come.I can not get out, so it is really a god send.

I can say that I have changed my life with the use of computer because when I was take admission for my graduation in computer application then I don’t know that what is computer and never seen before computer. But when I bought my computer it changed my life. And now I know some programming languages and also able to doing programming for software development. And now I am also perfect in internet. So I can say that computer has changes my life.

Before, whenever I need something for research, I still need to dig files and books to find the answers but now due to computers, I can get the response in about an hour. Of course with the help of some search engines. Aside from that, computers do also helps in maximising the time and energy. Since you can do several things in the computers. With reference to what I have wrote above, it is indeed a life changing when you have used computers in a proper way.

Yes, everyone's lives changed because of computers. I remember when I was in school, researches where done manually, staying long hours in the library, collecting reading magazines, interviewing people, typing and printing ...all very time-consuming. But now, any topic for research can be found on the net and it's easy as 1-2-3. Even communicating with across the miles friends and relatives, it takes only hours or even minutes and you'll get updated with what's going around with them. One thing I like most with computers and the net is that I was able to make money, small though, well at least I am at home with my kids.

Computers have drastically changed my life and ways that would have never been imagined by myself in the past years. Networking as evolved since computers have become what they are today, social networking that is and even business type networking. There is social sites for business alone like linkedin.com for example. We are able to make a living off the internet or have some part time money coming in and even familiar programs like word, excel, power point, and so on have changed as well. We are able to to do office work and send office documents right over the internet. Someone can be in New York and send an office document to a co-worker in LA. Drastically major! Ever since I got acquainted with the use of PC, my life had been better and faster! My tasks are far easier to accomplish and that communication with others had been easier too. It is amazing how the world could get better because of these technological advancements. I wonder what's in store for us in the future?

The main change in my life because of the computer is through communication. It is really a blessing that I can now communicate with old friends, former classmates and teachers because of the social networking sites, and now that I am also a blogger, I can get to communicate with people worldwide because of the words I have written. It really is amazing that one electronic device can help bridge countries and people.

I admit there are lots of changes in my life since i use computer at home. First i say thanks to this device and secondly i can say i am happy. The first time i see computer i think how do i use this and then i tried with confident. So I become successful and until now i using this until i found mylot here and i become addicted to this site. Computer also helps me to gain more knowledge and have self confident; it change also my personal opinion to some things that i can;t believe before. It helps me a lot. And until now i am happy and if there is no dsl or connection with the internet ohhhh sad i feel not good!

There is so much information available to us. the internet can helo us find it quicker. it is such a convenience to be able to use the computer to do what used to be so timely.

there are many things that i discovered since internet applications and usages is getting upgrading and flow with the tide of cyberspace... but one of the latest idea and an eye opener to me i think using internet makes us learn that HARD WORKING is a far different compare to SMART WORKING...

There are so many fundamental changes, but let me enumerate a few: information, knowledge, and wisdom from all kinds of sources at one's fingertips. Communication facility at fingertips at the speed of light to/from all parts of the world. Working at home, flexi-time, shopping at home. Face to face meetings in real time, with people from all over the world. Or just a person to person chat.

yes, im more informed and updated. i've finished short computer courses online for free, i buy stuffs from ebay which i dont normally get in the local stores, i run my online shop. there has been good and there are bad also. i just learned to use the computer responsibly.
