I am just back from town. Too bad the salon that i usual visit to have my hair cut is not opening today. I thought of letting them cut my son's hair a little since it looks untidy now. I thought of bringing my son to visit the other salon but unsure their hair cutting experience. I am scare that i don't feel satisfy with the way they cut my son's hair. So, i have decided to wait for another day, to let my son have his hair cut in my favorite salon. If you are in my situation, will you have your hair cut in another different hair salon?

We finally got my grandson's hair cut. It was looking pretty funky. I took him to a barber shop about a year ago and the guy wouldn't even work with him or talk to him at all. My grandson was nervous and the guy had no interesting in chatting with him or anything. I as pretty put out with him. We left and didn't pay.

He was probably six or seven then. I don't think the barber had any kids and was just used to adult customers. I think we would feel the same way. I can remember afew beauticians I would have felt the same way about.

Hi sis!
I always flexible when come to things like this. I don't have specific favorite things as I found it a problem when I am not meeting with the one I used to have. I saw that it is such disadvantage if we just go and stay with one and only. Like salon even if i don't always go to salon and have my hair cut there but in this case I am okay if the salon closed. Just get to another salon...I don't want to be like my other family members...Just stay with one and only brand like the chilli sauce I told you before..hehehe...(^^)

Yes, i remembered that chilli sauce discussion. But regarding hair cut, i really still prefer to have my hair cut from the same salon. Since i ever experienced a terrible hair cut a few times, until i feels very sad about it. But, maybe i will give it a try to visit another new hair salon nearby my area, to test their hairdresser skill.

I am very picky on the salon that I will go to anymore. It is hard to find a good one that has people who truly know how to cut hair. I think I would wait and go to the place you like and trust.

When it comes to my son, I will admit that I actually cut his hair myself because he just likes to have it buzzed short. Now, when it comes to myself or my daughter, however, there is only one place that I will go, but they are open almost every day (with the exception of major holidays) so it really isn't something that I have to worry all that much about. Yes, I am picky, but when it comes to Paul, he is simple so it is something that I can do myself.

Wow, you are lucky that your son are not picky. When my son was still a toddler, he don't mind i cut his hair. But now, he prefer a barber to cut his hair and he always prefer the barber that cuts my hair. Because he said that barber is friendly and gets along well with him...

Hi myfb: Actually this has happened to me. I love my salon because they've already know me and I feel comfortable being there. That's something you don't get so easily so I prefer to come back later or maybe on another day because my physical appereance is very important. Nothing will happend if you wait one more day, but it's better to get what you want on these situations.

Hi Alvaro, that's what i had been thinking when i saw my favorite salon had closed. I prefer to have the same hairstyle that they are able to produce for me and even my son. That's why, on that day, i am willing to wait for another day to have my son's hair cut.

My son is very picky and he has his own barber. We only go to one barber shop and he doesn't want anybody else cutting his hair except for this one good fellow that he gets along with. So no, i wouldn't find another barber shop for my son.
If it were only me and i couldn't stand my hair i usually find an alternative. I'm not very picky with my style and if you have ready my discussion, i never had a bad hair day!

Same here, my son can said is quite picky when come to barber who cut his hair. He always prefer the barber who understands him well and always get along with him. That's why, as for my son, it is really hard for me to bring him to another barber to have his hair cut. As for myself, as long the barber able to cut according to my preferred hair style, i am satisfied with it. Yes, indeed you are more better than me. Not so picky about your hair style...

Hi myfb!
I seldom go to salon because I seldom get a hair cut. But I'm usually hesitant to try other salons instead of the one I usually go to. But the last time I had my hair cut, it was in a different salon because I wasn't satisfied with the other previous salon I went to. So I tried a different salon and I'm glad I did. I now only go to that salon to have my hair cut. I have my hair cut there twice already.

Yes, if you don't like to have your hair cut in the previous salon, then you should look for another salon. I always change salon whenever i am not satisfied with the result. But so far, this current salon suits to me and my family, so we prefer to maintain it.

Actually just recently. A new place opened with a very cheap haircut trying to get customers...so I went and I did not like my haircut at all! I can't wait until it grows out and I can go back to where I like....sometimes new things aren't as good!

I haven't had my hair cut in a salon in more than 15 years. I'm always afraid they mess it up even though it ain't that pretty anyways.
I usually trim my own hair or wait for my aunt to visit every 2 or 3 years cause she's a hairdresser.
Maybe you should take your boy to the different salon and see what happens that way if he messes up you know not to go there anymore

Wow, it is really unbelievable that you don't visit salon for more than 15 years. How you are able to trim your own hair? That's really amazing. It is good that you have an aunt who is a hairdresser. I think i don't dare to take the chance to let other hairdresser cut my son's hair...

For me yes it is but if you have to understand and know it much then it is so good you can cut your hair even if it is close time or not.

Although hair does grow back if errors are made, I am one who is very faithful with the person I do use. I do not change up salons as I feel that the person who does trim and or cut my hair always tends to do it exactly the way I like it each time.
In the past I use to take chances and was always disappointed, so as you I would wait an extra day or two to wait for my stylist.

According to me u can wait for another day. I always prefer to use same salon which im using. If we go for new one they are not familiar with our hairs they wil work on their styles even we request them to cut in our idea. Better we can wait for whom service is good for us.

I would do the same too. I am afraid to risk the haircut from a salon who i haven't known if they can do a nice haircut. I would wait for that favorite salon to open.
