I still do to sleep hugging a hankie. When I was young it was a real handkerchief made of cotton and maybe even embroidered. Now it´s just a paper one, but it feels the same.

JEEEZZZ!!! We all have our kiddie part. I may be old, but Still ask myself once in a while what will I do when I grow up. That is, I used to ask myself until a couple of months ago. Now I´m asking myself where will I travel if the doctor will let me after the chemo

I dont do either one of those. Actually i have a pillow that goes in between my legs and i sleep on my side most of the night with the pillow there and its comfortable to me and thats how i sleep. I also will sleep on my tummy with one leg bent and out to the side as that is also comfortable for me and then i have no pillow. Its either or for me and thats how i sleep.

I love to sleep hugging my pillow or anything which I can hug easily ;) It make me feel secure and fearless during all night alone in my room. So I think whenever I will get my life partner I will not sleep without hugging her :D I wish she will not mind my hugging habbit

I tend to hug my pillow while my husband is hugging me. We do not always wake up the same way we fell asleep the night before. Sometimes I wake up hugging him and sometimes I wake up freezing because my husband has all of the blankets hugging them.

I can't sleep without hugging my pillow... and now that I am married, I can't without hugging my hubby or without him hugging me. I think I am used to it already... When I was still single I always sleep in between pillow. I remember my bed have six pillows.

Can you actually sleep through the night while hugging your hubby? Until you wake up you are still hugging him?

nope that doesn't work here. One way or another we could start that way but roll our own direction in the middle of the night.

Hello,
I usually hug my boyfriend when we fall asleep. Sometimes, rarely we wake up in each other arms different than when we fell asleep. Most of the time we wake hugging our pillows. We also are blanket huggers too. Nine times out ten the blanket is never on the floor. It feels so good for me falling asleep with my boyfriend spooning each other. I feel so protected and loved more then sometimes if he said he love me. I know this is clique but that is how I feel. He also a very touchy freely kind of guy.
Even watching TV while I sit in the chair he lays down on this small little bed in livingroom he will reach up periodically to touch my hand. Sometime just walking by just out of the blue he will kiss me... he is romantic but do not tell him that... he will laugh (lol).
Thanks Unique16

I don't think it is just the body temperature.. I can't sleep when I can feel someone breathing, like the chest going up and down..

I must be very weird. I don'tlike hugging anything or anyone when I sleep. I want to be alone. LOL it's not that I don't like hugging..I do and I am a very physical and affectionate person. However, when I am ready to fall asleep, leave me alone...is ANYONE else like this???

I can definitely sleep while hugging my boyfriend. It may not exactly be hugging but we are cuddled up together and sometimes have our arms around each other. We both sleep curled up with our knees bent so we worked out a way to still be close. I'll put one of my legs in between my boyfriend's legs while he's curled up and that way I can curl up too but we can still be close enough. I just feel so safe and relaxed when sleeping with him with me that I wish I could do it every night. When I'm not with him and I sleep alone, I hug the Pooh bear he gave me. It's not quite the same as being curled up with my boyfriend though :(

its actually a habit for most one hugging his mom , dad ,or some pillow.i am also having the same habit while sleep.
but i am trying to avoid this habit, because when you go some other home for vocation you will keep that habit i that place also.so it will leads to you unprofessional, and negative impression.

I don't think there is any negative impression you will get hugging a pillow while sleeping?

Love hugging my sausage pillow because I learned from an article that I read that once you use it your back pain will be relieve just be sure to follow the right position by sleeping on one side and placing it in between the knees. Alas its true. I must admit that it did work wonders for my aching back.

Lol! How cute
Many kids would have a special pillow or stuffed animal to cuddle up against when they go to bed. When I was a kid, I tried sleeping while cuddling a pillow or toy, it didn't work. It made me really uncomfortable. The only thing I cuddle is my blanket when it's really hot and I just throw it off of me and hug it.

I can sleep while hugging my babe, but it's hard to keep it all night because i can't sleep well, and if ever i fell asleep he'll be the one hugging me. But whenever he's not staying at my house i usually hug my pillow i can't seem to sleep without hugging my pillow it feels uncomfortable without it. :)
