Uh.Mylotters..Why do we add people??

I add people that sends me friends requests, im not one to send any out at all and i dont view others profiles on here. I will add some of the peole that send me requests but they must have a picture and that i see them with a high number against there name of course so i know they are using there time here wisely. I also add people for the purpose of having a discusison to respond to at times as well because then i have more resposnes at the end of the day and will get more earnings the next day and i like to earn here so adding friends helps me to do that as well. Friend requests here doesnt mean that i will talk to them but just having them on here helps me to see what discussion i have in one day to respond to.

uumm...... We add people to have extremely long friends lists, sweetie?

I add people on Mylot so I can get their duscussions right to my inbox daily. It is alot easier than coming to the site to look for some to respond to.

its just to be more attached to him and keep track of him.if you both have common interests,it might help you.for example i have interest in making money.so if i add another guy with the same interest i can have more views about the topic and also maybe help from him.Thought you got it

To be honest, I try to add people here as my friends to get exposed to their different topics and also so that many other users can see my posted topics which they can reply on. That is why I also add those who, in my opinion, is active enough to create discussions or comments on topics. But I do add up those who request me to be his friend simply because I liked their effort to reach out and make friends or the intention of trying to have a good amount of network here in myLot.

im kind of new here so i still have not figured that part out yet i mean i will accept any friend request it is always good to be friendly and you never know when you may need someone but i am here to make money not make friends the reason i accept friends requests is because if i have a question or need a quick answer or have any problems i might could message one of my friends on here and get their opinion or see if they know the answer to my question like the other day my earnings didnt update as it usually does i could have messaged one of my friends and asked if theirs has updated and if theirs has then that lets me know something is wrong with my account and i need to seek further help

I will let requesters languish to see if they really are going to be active, over half the time they aren't so I just then deny them. I am more likely to accept a person if they have several hundred (or thousand) posts to their names than a low number person. However... if I find a low number person that I have responded to even ONE interesting discussion, especially in an interest that I really like, I am apt to request them as friends. Having said that, there is a certain group of people that I won't accept no matter what number they have, because I've found that people in that group almost never post a discussion I'm interested it. They're interests are not my interests and I will deny them right away. I find most of them are going through other people's friends lists and requesting everyone. Well, I won't be your friend...

The answer is 'I don't know'. When I get friend request I have no second thoughts in approving the request quite immediately. I don't choose friends. It has become my new hobby of sort ie collecting friends. My friends list is over pouring and I have not stopped admitting new ones. Since mylot is far reaching, I have friends from all corners of the world in my collection. They are all there like prized trophies doing nothing not even supporting my discussions but I have no intention of deleting them yet. I think being in a social site, we need to have friends to be part of our gang in the virtual world.

I add friends in regards to if they are people that are always reading and responding to the discussions I start, so I can return that to them and see where they stand, and how active they are. I also add people that intrigue me in what they say, the knowledge that they have, and the outlook they have on certain things. Not sure if there is any other reason on why I add them. But if someone sends a friend request I always accept, you never really know.

hi letran I think I just started accepting friends and only twice have I asked to be a friend but whew I have over 1000and thats overhwhelming as i cannot respond to all. I felt bad to turn dow those who had only 4 friends then all of a sudden mny list is so topheavy I cannot get to all. My older mylot friends I have had for 5 years and they have become my true mylot friends I accepted them because we were actively participating in each others posts and we felt like we had things in coom.I have learned from them all specially my Filipino friends and my Indian friends,also from manr other countries, you broaden my perspective on things and also made me more open minded.So I kept my original list because we became real friends."far away places, with strange sounding names, that I read in a book on my shelf" from an old song, through my friends I learn about places I could never afford t o go and found out we are all human beings and we share a lot of the same fedelings from the US to Zimbabwe.

Hi Letran Kinght: I usually add people from the site because they are the ones that always participate on my own discussions so they create a good atmosphere on the site, give me good advises etc, and I would love to keep in contact with them. When people want to add me as their friend I usually accept their invitations because it makes me so happy to know that someone has found me and thinks that I am a good member and they want to follow my discussions. Usually if I have my friend's request here in mylot I just add them right away without thinking about that mylot user's profile. Since of course this is not really like a private account the way I treat it on facebook that I am only adding people that I want or if we have mutual friends thinking that how we have met each other. But when I want to add people usually it depends on how that person posted or if we have same interest and at times if I just need something. In a way that I want to send a message with that person because in the first place you can't send that mylot user a message if you are not friends on each other.

hi LK, I add them because they sent a request kidding aside What is the use of joining social networking if you don't have friends who can see your activity, right? But I don't add all of them you know I put my real pictures and information here and in other site so if I don't trust them they can't be on my list have a nice day ahead

Good discussion. I send requests to people who seem very active and that I saw made a good response to either my discussion or one I was responding to. I check the profile and check activity and interests to see if we have enough in common to enjoy some of the same type of discussions. If so, I send the friend requests and hope if someone checks my profile they will accept me. I don't accept anyone until I've seen their profile and their activity and are pretty sure they will stay active and participate. If I have met them in a discussion I'm likely to approve them before they get a star than someone I haven't met in a discussion. I am thankful for those of you who took a chance on me when I was under 100. For me the purpose of friendship here is similar to what others have stated. I love interacting regularly with people who have different cultures and life experiences than mine so we can exchange ideas and find out things we would never think to look up. Some of the words we use and the objects that are part of our everyday lives are unique to our culture and foreign to many others. Hearing from real people who live in another county about what's happening there gives us an entirely different perspective than the news reporters and magazine writers. My friends here are participants in their cultures -- not just observers. It is facsinating to hear what they have to share. The other reason I like to have friends with some common interests is that when they start discussions I get notified and am able to go join those discussions instead of having to do so much searching to find discussions to join. I don't join every discussion of every friend. Sometimes I would not have anything to contribute -- especiially to discussions about movies, celebrities,and gaming. But I always check the discussions of my friends before I go looking for other one. My myLot friends have also been very good to me in joining my discussions.

you have told the reason from your own angle. we add people to expand our cirlce of friends to whom list of discussions made by us will go so that we may get more responses from others--then we can make more replies -- if we make more replies we earn more--
