Hi friends I was a one time avid reader .I couldn't go to sleep without browsing through few pages of a book . I used to read books on all topics and English novels were my all time favorite .But I feel so depressed to state that for the last few months I have not got time to read a single book except reading some journals and magazines . I wish I had more time to read at my pleasure . I get more satisfaction to read the books in my hand than read them online . I am trying my best to regain my habit . What are your experiences . HI rolly!
I love to read books and magazines, whenever I could lay my hands on it. However, on line activities have changed the scenario and much time is spent on on line activities rather than on reading.
Whenever am not on PC, I would love to read, whatever is available. There could be no better mental exercise than reading. We need to read regularly to sharpen our brain and imagination power.

I am an avid reader. My books of choice tend to be supernatural in nature. Lately, my reading material has changed towards what my students are reading so I can make recommendations. I still check out books from the library, but when I am traveling, I use my husbands ereader because it is easier than carrying a ton of books.

I actually got to read books of my own choosing this long holiday weekend. I made it through a book and a half. I unfortunately left my unfinished book at my parents, I will have to wait until next weekend to finish it up, even if i find a few mintues this week.

I make it a point to take a bath and read a little bit. I spend abour an hour to myself to relax and clear my head while I read and relax in a bath. Its the one time my reading is uninterrupted.

I simply love reading while I am taking a bath. Its so relaxing, though its hard to not get the pages wet haha. I like bringing my ipod in to have some music too. It helps make it relaxing.

I read less that I used to since I have become addicted to the computer. As I have an earning goal each day, I spend more time than I should here. But I still like to read a lot and many people would call me a bookworm. When I get inot a book I can read a big novel in one or two days. I only read books online when I cannot get them in the normal way. For me, part of reading is in my room, in my bed with a good reading light.

Oh, poor thing!
I was like you, mind you, I didn't touch any book for more than a year. I am so busy and I even don't have much time for myself. Since the middle of this year, I started reading again and I am back as an avid reader. Books always have a place in my heart, I cannot abandon them completely
I now read ebooks, they're so much more convenient than paper books. I can read them whenever I don't have more task to do at work. I MAKE time to read otherwise I will never read anymore.
I also have started a book blog. I feel like I have a to regularly update it, so reading book is a must for me.

I still read almost everyday before I go to sleep. Sometimes it is a whole book, sometimes it is just 1 or 2 pages. There are times that I'm too tired to read even a single page. But, my habit of reading before sleep is still there, and probably here to stay.

I read all the time. Normally like Jezebella said I read in the bath to relax, but I also read while I am at work. During my breaks I am able to read a few pages to a chapter depending on how much i read and how short the chapter the books are. Depending on how engrossed I am in the book I will read before bed, sometimes though its hard to read before bed cause my boyfriend an di have a tradition of watching a show or a movie before bed.

I've always been an avid reader, ever since I was kid. I really do try to read a little bit everyday. Sometimes, I am unable to do so, but I do try to make the effort to do so. It's just something that I've always enjoyed doing, ever since I can remember. It's a nice, relaxing activity.

I am still in the habit of reading. E reading is difficult for me, so I prefer paper book reading. In my city, residents are entitled to membership of libraries of either city, district, or communities. With One and Single membership card, we can borrow, return, or renew books in whichever library, 6 books at a time, and no more than one month. When I find books I really like, I will buy from websites. I agree with you reading books in my hands gives me more satisfaction.

Hi rollylolly, I love reading books and magazines. Reading introduces new people, new ideas, and new events into life. And boredom is a stranger to the new, exciting things.

Well when It happens to me, although I'm very tired, I have to read my book! And all in my head goes back to turn slowly... so I can finally sleep!

I love reading it is also one of my favorite pastime. I love to read materials that have picture like magazines. I collect books that offer practical help and advise. I don't usually read novels as it seems boring for me.

I don't read every day but I do read fairly often. Reading relaxes me and soothes me. If I'm having one heck of a day I know I can pick up a book and be transformed into that time period and place and all my worries disappear for a short time.

Yes I do.
I started reading when I was five and I haven't stopped. Currently, I'm reading the Twilight Saga books, The Secret and a parenting book.
Reading non-fiction books helps me relax after a long day. I'm reading The Secret because I constantly need the reminder to stay positive regardless on what is happening to my life.
My favorite right now is the book "How to talk so that kids will listen and listen so that kids will talk". I have an extremely active son, I actually fear that he has ADHD (well that's another story) and this book helps me and his dad communicate with him effectively.
Blessed be.

Reading is one of my habits. Even if today I am very busy, but sometimes I will spend some time reading. I often buy the books. I also hope my child will love reading and this is why at first I have to be a good example. There are many advantages of reading. You can learn from it.
I love China

I haven't read an actual book in a couple of years. Like you I would like to read more, but it's hard to find time to do it. That may be something that I should try to make a change in this year. Finding more time to read.

I don't tend to read books as much, I prefer reading online, I find that more entertaining. It's easier to find stories which actually interest me online because books, you don't know if it's going to be good. I can't seem to find the books that interest me either in the library so I prefer to read online, stories written by people all over the world on the internet! I read from a few sites and I bookmark all my favorite authors. If they update some of their chapters, I would get pretty excited and start reading right away! I'm always checking for updates everyday! I love reading! It's something I do for leisure, so when I finish studying or school work, I simply just read after that. Reading also improves my literacy skills and vocabulary. I have an English exam coming up and I have to prepare 4 narratives, I better start reading now and get some good ideas for my stories!

yeah i do read, though it has reduced a lot because of my office and different other activities...
i do miss my times when i used to be awake all night just to finish up on a certain interesting novel...
i am glad i do still read because the last book i read by Chetan Bhagat called as Revolution 2020 made me emotional and gave a real touch to the reality that exists around...
