what is it in dying that makes people afraid to die?

I think it is a fear of the unknown plus leaving those you love and not having accomplished things you wanted to do.

I suppose it's just not knowing whats going to happen after I die that makes me scared.

Maybe people are afraid to die is they dont know what they can be on the other life or maybe they cant do the things they are doing here on earth.

im not sure about other people but for me one of the biggest things i fear is not even about me its not wanting the people who i love and who love me to have to feel bad. I mean i know they will mourn but i dont want them to have to be sad.
