Do you worry a lot?

We all worry about so many things. Some people worry about things that never happened; others about past, unchangeable decisions; there are some who worry about illness that never happened; and most about real problems! Most of us worry about things we can't control and things that never happened or did not happen yet. It's just natural for us to worry because we're humans Thank God we can cast all our worries upon Him and let Him handle them for us (but that doesn't mean we don't do our part). What are the things that you worry most of the time? Or is it possible that there are people who don't know how to worry? Good day, mylotters!

I worry most about health issues other things like financial problems do not bother me much as long as I am able to get basic needs. I believe if your health is fine, you can always work towards achieving all other things in life.

You are right. People I know who are supposed to be having a good life because they have much money have so many health problems (like kidney failure). They may have the money but they are just spending them on medical expenses and other needs in order to survive. There's truth with the saying "Health is wealth." Yes, our health is one thing we should worry about. Staying healthy should be our aim. Thanks for the helpful reminder, Mashnn.

when people worry about the future i think it say more about their lack of confidence than it does their worries.. we put pressure on ourselves through media as to how our lives should be lived.. we are constantly surrounded by photos or adverts of wonderful amazing things .. it is no wonder so many people feel inadequate and worry so much when so much pressure is placed upon them... you lose so much of yourself and so much time worrying that you lose what is more precious and that is sharing your time with loved ones and friends.. if something bad is going to happen then its fate and worrying will not stop it it will just make it larger because you add the worry to it.. give yourself some time to relax and enjoy your life .. yes ok you are poor or no job or no husband or wife .. what ever it is .. but you know what.. you are still breathing you are still alive .. you can still be a part of someone else's day :)youo can still bring a smile to someone just be being there..

Great! You have said it well and I agree. Why worry when we cannot really do something about whatever we are worrying about? As you've said, better relax and enjoy life. There's no use living if you just spend it in worrying Thanks for the positive response. In every response, there is something I can learn that I could really apply. Good day!

I can worry a lot about things. My worries mostly have to do with the financial situation that my husband and I are in, at the moment. But I don't think that we're the only ones to worry about things in our lives.

I hope you'll be able to get through your financial problems. It's okay to worry since the problem is already there, and it's what almost everyone of us do. Good luck and thanks for sharing, dodo19

I worry a lot or most of the time. I wish that I could relax more. I worry about my work hours and not having any. I worry about money. Even though things are decent right now at work and money right now is not a problem, I still worry. I worry that I might offend someone at work. I worry about my housing situation. I live in government housing for seniors. I worry about angering my manager or maintenance. I worry about conflicts with other resident. All these worries are based on real things that have happened in the past. Even though everything is good right now, I fear having further problems at work or at my apartment complex. I know what it is like to have problems at work and in housing. But I also worry about the future. I have a couple of vacations planned months away. I am already worrying about missing my plane or having problems at my hotel. I an 67 and do not have many people in my life. I worry about my health and any crises that might happen. I have almost no one to turn to.

So sorry to hear about that. So many things to worry about for a 67-year old person. Just be thankful that you have us, mylotters, to share your worries. Don't worry too much! You're 67 and it's time you take time to relax and enjoy life. I try to relax and let my mind wander even for just one hour a day. I am sure even rich and comfortable people have many things to worry also, not only the poor ones, or people like us. As long as we can, let's try to relax and let our worries worry about us. Whew, easier said than done. Just remember, we have Someone up there who really cares and knows what is best for us. Thank you, bostonphil, for sharing! Cheers!

Most of the time my worries are financial struggles. I gave my worries to the Lord and Im trying not to take them back on my own shoulders. Its hard sometimes... My husband being out of work is hurting us a lot but he cannot help being hurt. I am trying not to let my thoughts and worries get in the way.

The best is that you don't worry about anything. But you can't. Always there are things about you could be worried; e.g. the enough earning of money, the health, the education of your children, the happiness of your relatives, etc. But I think you shouldn't do it too exagerated. You could get ill. But like you say we should let the future in the God's hand. I mean the things that we are not able to control.

Hi, Ricki! Hope you are feeling okay. Just read in one of the discussions that you went to the hospital. And that's one thing so serious that could make a person worry all the time. Staying positive and trusting God help in alleviating our worries. Thank you for your helpful response. I hope things will be okay for you.

Thank you for your kind comment, Lyn, but I didn't go to Hospital. I said that I had, and still I've, a knee injury. Luckily nothing serious, but it needs to be treated, so that I can do some sport again.

I'm not a constant worry, but when I'm expecting something, I do tend to get a little over-anxious. Often stressing about things I can't control, mistakes I've made that can be fixed, and over all change. Though I don't throw myself into panic attacks as near as often as I used to.

It's okay to worry when expecting something. But don't worry over mistakes that have been done if you know that they can't be fixed - what's important is you have learned some valuable lessons from them. Yes, too much worrying can cause panic attacks. I've also experienced that but I don't want to again in the future so I only worry about real problems now. Thanks for sharing, kaylachan!

I worry about money all the time, if I could have more money, I think I worry less than I worry about it today.

Don't make it your goal each day to worry about money. I do worry, too, about money but I am more worried about how to earn more. I think the answer to that is to be content with what we have each day. Thanks for sharing, vexxus :)

Oh I worry a lot and it does get pretty annoying when something that has already happened and I start getting all worked up about it. I'm quite a pessimistic person and I always tend to think of the worse of a situation. I hate it when something happened, I think about it later and start getting worried about this and that and whether would be different if this happened instead. I don't like worrying but I just can't help myself, I just can't forget so easily. I always get paranoid of how others think of me. So I worry a lot!

Sometimes I do that, too. But it's so stressful! And when you're stressed all the time, sooner or later, you will notice that your energy/health is not what it used to be. So find time to relax, TripleO. Thanks for the response. Hope you'll have a good day!

hi there neelia lyn, I do worry a lot, i worry about my dad that works abroad, i worry about my siblings, i worry about my girlfriend and i worry about my future, i worry a lot and if only we can get money out of it i would probably be very rich by now.

Don't worry if there's nothing there to worry about. Just pray for your dad, siblings, girlfriend and for your future. Commit and trust them to the Lord. If you count your blessings and not your worries, you'll know that you have enough and maybe more than enough. Hmmm, that got me thinking... If you do count your blessings, are they much more than your worries? Thanks, deodavid!

I think I am that kind of people , who worries for everything. But , I didnt see it that way , I thoght I was avoiding danger, for example , with my kids I am always telling them what can happen to them if they do wrong things. And also , I am kind of see things before happens, so , I dont know how good or how bad that should be. I am trying to control that now at my mature age , since thats can bring stress and sickness , so , I am trying to be more possitive , but, its a difficult way to go.

I think parents worry for their children's safety most of the time especially if they are still young, and that's the reason we always give them warnings and instructions. But too much worry is not a good thing since it stresses you and makes you ill. Like you, I also try to be more positive each day. Let's trust God to see us through each day. Thanks, safety, for the response.

Yes, all people worry about money. Some worry on how or what to spend their money while some worry where to get money or how to save because the cost of everything is already high. Hope you're okay, too. Just concentrate on your studies so that someday you'll be able to land on a good job. Good luck and thanks for the response.

I can be a worrywart! I love to worry about money and bills. I like to worry about retirement. I worry about money and bills even though I pay must of my bills monthly and I get by! I should not be worring about retirement, yet, but I know I am not alone on that! We don't if socical security will be around in in the future and if people my age will ever be able to retire! I do have a retirment account at work and it is growing. Those are my biggest worries.

Slow down, blue, you'll get yourself so stressed by the time you retire Take things one at a time. Yes, it's our nature to worry about almost everything but we need to slow down and relax sometimes. Thanks!

I used to worry a lot before, but I learned that worrying is sometimes a sin if it gets too much. You see we need to worry at times and if you don't worry it means you are being too relax and you won't bother yourself or stress yourself out. Like if you are a father and you don't have a job, if you don't worry about a job you would not mind if you don't have money to support your family. Worry becomes bad when we are so obsessed with worrying that we can no longer enjoy our sleep and we weary ourselves with worry. I worry and then do something about it, if I there's nothing more that I can do, I leave the rest to God and stop worrying about that concern.

Very well said, averygirl. Yes, sometimes we become so obsessed causing us to worry so much, and that make it as a sin - thanks for the timely reminder I so agree with you Thanks, averygirl!

Hi neelia_lyn, I too worry alot at some times when I thinking about future. As future is unpredictable it tends to change day by day and sometimes I feel alot how to survey in future. In this world money matters everything, searching for money itself makes you worrying alot. Luckily I had few friends to whom I share everything, they will encourage me when I am down and vice versa. Everyday morning is challange for me, I never worried in early morning times, it all comes at the end of the day when we get into analyse the things.

Yes, money is what we worry about most of the time. At the end of the day, we worry what we eat or use tomorrow but sometimes planning in advance helps ease our worries. Thanks so much for the response, yaso4u.

I think I worry most about things that I can't control. I guess, like unexpected events and the injury, illness or loss of loved ones. My family is mostly out of state so that makes it harder.

At least you worry about real problems or events. Let's try not to make it more difficult by worrying about things that never or will not happen. Thank you, mhansen, for the response. Cheers!
