Summer is right around the corner

It's not even spring here in the UK, but it has been warmer than normal these last few days. We have had temperatures around 15 deg C, which is about 60 deg F. Not as hot as in Florida, but a damn sight more balmy than we'd expect for this time of year. As for plans for summer, well, I plan to make plans for winter during the summer as I like to be prepared. You?

I have no other choice to be ready. I want to go somewhere this summer but my money is pretty tight at the moment. I need a long vacation after what I've been going through this year so far. I was thinking about getting a part time job on weekends at a casino as a bartender. Maybe I get a chance to chill at the shore during the day. I'll see what happens.

It is still a bit cold here, so I can't wait for summer to come. As a family, we usually drive down somewhere to spend a few days and enjoy summer. We would do this 3 or 4 times a summer. This summer we wouldn't be making any trips as we have a big one in December. I would like to save up for that big trip. So, it would most likely be just here and there for the summer, taking advantages of the summer activities in the community.

I don't have summer plans maybe just work :) so i could gain money i wish i have vacation too like others.

Well I don't really know if I am waiting for summer coz it gets nasty here :/ But this cold is bothering me a lot too! I guess I am just waiting for sprin to arrive as quick as possible and last long :) Actually it's supposed to be spring here but it doesn't feel that way right now.

I just saw first bees today, and one butterfly flying around. But there are still patches of snow on the ground. So, spring is coming, and summer is still away for us here. BTW, I use to work on cruise ships, and Miami was one of home ports, so I know about Florida and hot weather there. One thing I didn't like there was overusing of air-conditions, Yes, it's OK to be in air-conditioned room or a car for a while, but we can't stay indoors all the time, and changes in temperature, when I had to go out, or coming in, were killing me.

I live in a tropical country where summer is too hot to handle. I am planning for a vacation to my hometown where the weather is far better than here in the city where I am living right now. I also want to spend on beaches if given the chance.

Yeah,beautiful summer is just around the corner.For me,i decided to earn enough money and then for my study plan.I'm old enough to suppot myself financially.And also travel to some places that i never been before.lol,life is great.

I am so ready for summer, but I don't have any plans what so ever...yet, I will probably make some last minute plans. It sure will be hot I'm in Washington and it wasn't hot today but we are actually suppose to get snow this weekend which is super weird for the part that I live in. I know this summer is going to be super hot and I hope it doesn't reach 90 because I don't know how I will live haha I think the hottest it has been here in my life time was like low 80's I guess I'm just not use to hot weather, I like it when it is in the 60's for me that is a perfect temperature.

I love summer. It is my favorite season when it comes to weather and doing things. When it's nice and sunny out I like to be outside, going somewhere doing something. We haven't had a bad winter so I can't complain in that regard. But I will like for it to be warmer. As for plans there all over the place and summer goes to fast. I may be staying in a cabin for a camping trip with my daughter and some friends, and I may also be going out of town for a week to visit some family in another state. I hope that things will follow through. It works out so great when I'm able to do things that are planned. But with gas prices escalating I never know. It seems we can never get ahead when gas jumps that high.

Hi and a happy day to all! Good for you if you already planning things to do in summer. Swimming pools, beaches, drinks and barbecue are most common thing to do during summer. You might consider arranging your closet and take those clothes that are fit for summer vacation. Stay hydrated all the time to prevent your body complaining from dehydration. Always smart to wear sunglasses, hats, and sunscreen. I also bring bottle of water wherever i go. Summer will be over in my place, and we will be welcoming winter. Enjoy your summer!

I wish summer seemed right around the corner here. Although we have had a really mild winter. Most of the winter the temperatures have been warmer then usual at least. Today we got up into the low 50's, which is probably 20-30 degrees warmer then normal for February. I can't wait till it finally gets warmer. There is so much I want to do this summer.

My mind is but I think my body isn't. I mean, it's still trying to adjust to the change in temperature. For some reason, I get a little sick during seasonal changes. But my family and I have already plans for the summer. They're not yet final though but we've narrowed down our options. We actually let our 8-year-old son decide where we'd go :)

For us here in Chennai, India --yes summer is fast approaching. we are already facing power shortage problem and it will further actuate. While in north USA and Canada it is still winter. My children wish when winter will come to an end. Enjoy summer time. relax and work well.

although my plans for this summer are abit different from others, i do belive we are in for some fine weather, over here in england its been a beautiful day. although still a chill in the wind, though it was perfect weather. hopefully tomorrow is the same. regarding my summer i do hope it will be a nice once since im hoping to be starting my army training then and i dont quite fancy running around in puddles the size of me
