Too Much Sun

Over the past few days, it has been so hot here in our country. I live in the mountains of Rizal and it seems that the sunlight is magnified three times over. At seven in the morning it is so bright that it looks as if it's noon already. I am in our living room and have hung dark heavy drapes in order to block out the harsh sun. We still have two more months for summer. I only hope that the temperatures don't rise anymore since my asthma is giving me hell again and I am starting to cough again.
I wonder is it just me who's noticing that it's extra bright nowadays, or just where I live, or is it the same everywhere?

If I am not mistaken, yesterday, or the day before that was the hottest day of the year according to the news. It's really been hot here in the Philippines lately and the sun's rays hurt on the skin. I quickly got darker after walking under the sun for a short period of time when I was in the province during holy week!

I'm staying indoors but I feel like my skin has darkened too. I go out to my garden at six in the morning and would you believe that the sun is out and bright already at that hour?! I hope that this heat eases up a little. Thanks for your response.

Hi smolaki! Summers here in my country is always blistering hot. But what I've noticed is that it has become too bright that you have to draw curtains to block it out. I've lived here for six years and this is the only time that I've noticed the brightness because it is hurting my eyes. Thanks for your response.

Well, we are in the same country and I am feeling the heat also. Yesterday, I think 35 Celsius temperature was recorded. It is very hot nowadays. Whenever I go out during noon time, and even with my umbrella, I can feel the heat radiating into my skin. I work at a furnace plant and even though I am accustomed to so much heat, I still feel more exhausted by the scorching summer sun than the heat coming from our furnace. That's why I always try to remove all the reasons for me to go out and traverse the scorching heat of the sun. It really is energy killing.

The heat is too much for me that I can't even brave the heat to buy groceries. My rice supply is running low and I am thinking of going to the grocery by nightfall when there is no more sun. Thank you for your response.

It's 9:30AM here and the drapes are drawn. But when I go to the kitchen I feel like putting on sunglasses because it is really bright. It's the kind of brightness that hurts your eyes. Thank you for your response.

It's good if it's raining in your place. This means that there is hope for a little rain in the weeks to come. I am also hoping that it won't be too hot in the coming weeks. Thanks for your response.

It is the same here in Cebu. I don't live in the mountain part but it sure is really super hot and so bright. I can't even get enough sleep because it is hard for me to sleep with the heat in our room. And turning on the AC will cost us more with the electricity bill for it is already on during the night. The electric fans doesn't work as well, it is still giving out hot air. What's worst is the heat is making me more lazy to do chores at home and lazy in going to work. I work PM shifts and going out the house at noon time really is crazy hot.

I notice it too. It is so hot! Oh my gosh. Even if we switch on the fan, it is still hot so I push the ‘3 button’ on the fan so that we can conquer the heat. I sometimes used to take a bath in the morning and not in the afternoon, because if we took a bath from 12 pm – 3 pm, the water is so hot. We cannot wash the dishes after lunch too, we wait the water to turn into cold before we wash the dishes.
I think it is the same everywhere and I do not know if it is the same from the past years up to now.

I like the sun, but light sunny with a bit windy as in the autumn, the temperature is around 18-25 degrees only. If it is too hot by the sun, it will be very terrible. I always avoid to go out at noon in summer time because it is the hottest in the day with strong sunny.
Summer is coming soon, we can see the sun from early morning to late afternoon. I have to face with the sun every day in here. I really don't want my skin become tan, too tan. I should go to buy a jacket and a mask to keep my skin avoiding the summer sun..^^

It's not just you. I think it's happening all over the country. I would not dare to go out without applying a sunblock, an umbrella and water handy. The scorching heat is draining me. I would actually prefer not to go outdoors unless it's badly needed. That's why when it rains, I would really be ecstatic.:)
