Underwear...how many pairs do you own?

My goodness, that's a lot. I'd say about...nine? ten? for me. Enough so that I can go a few days without doing laundry in an emergency (the emergency being my laziness). I can't imagine where some people get the money to wear a different pair of designer panties each day, but I know it happens. If I had that kind of money, I'd get a dog. =)

This is funny! But, you can never own too much underwear. 85 pairs is pretty excessive, but at least we know your niece isn't wearing dirty underwear...ever! Probably has never worn any underwear twice with that many on hand.

Oh my gosh! 65 pairs! That is totally crazy!! And then 85 for your niece! Holy cow! It makes me wonder why they have so many pairs. Did you ask them why? Why do they need so many pairs of underwear? There are only 30-31 days in a month so you can't even wear a pair each month. Do they not do laundry? Ewwww...seriously though, I would be interested to know why they own so many pairs of underwear. Is it an addiction? a shopping addiction? I only own 7-8 pairs. I wash several times a week so no problem.

I think I have about 15 pairs. I have to admit that this is a very unique discussion!! I know that my boyfriend has 28 pairs of boxers because I made them all for him. I kept finding great patterns in the cotton quilt material and so I got busy and started sewing. I made most of them for him for Christmas one year, but the rest were for other holidays like Valentine's day and Easter.

I never counted them but i would say proably like 30 or 35.

Oh wow! 85?! Sorry, but how old is your niece? That is a lot! As for me, I don't have 85 pairs of panties, but I do have a lot. I think I have more brassieres. My sweetheart says I have too many brassieres and swimming suits/bikinis! Whenever we go to the mall, he wouldn't let me go to the undergarment sections unless he sees something he likes to see on me :D

I have some for best, some for when I go out and old ones mostly for everyday. I always grab up to about 6 pairs in the sales when I go to town for shopping whether or not I need them. There are always contingencies with knickers I find. I would say I have about 2 to 3 dozen knickers. How come we call them a pair of knickers. How come we don't call a bra a "pair of bras"?

well i probably have about 20 pairs, but i do go thru them often and get new ones and get rid of my old ones about once a month i do that, and i will buy about 3 or 4 more pairs in there place on a monthly basis.. i have my favorites and then i also have the ones i pick espically for that time of month so i dont wear my good one then.. and i keep up with my laundry on a daily basis so no need for more then what i have... having a huge number of underware is kinda crazy.. i actjualy buy more sock them underware .. i love my socks and buy about 6 new pair a month and i only get rid of the other if they have holes or really need to be thrown away.. i wear socks year round and even when i sleep :)

i have no idea, maybe around 30? i change a lot in a day especially when i am at home. i don't wear liners when i am home because those are not safe, that's why i change a lot.

Suebee lol what an interesting question..I, like others here, have no idea..but I know I have many I don't wear regularly so I have a lot, but no where near 65...

Frankly i really don't know how many pairs that i own now, may around 30 or 40 pairs. I have no intend to count it. I buy panty any time i see it is cute in the shop and i make sure that i have enough panties for 1 week wearing because i do washing on Sunday of the week only.

I know I do not have 65 or 85 pairs of panties. I have probably some where around 20 to 15 pairs. I don't keep a lot of clothes I have know to make it a week or two with out washing clothes even though I do at least a few loads a week. Put I wear every pair.

I have a lot of them but I did not ever counted them ever in my life. Almost there is around thirty five for me and I think it is the time to take the actual count of them

wow that is a lot. She must be a collector or change undies frequently lol. i think i have around 20 something i keep some for emergency reasons.

Even if I were to change thrice a day which I normally don't unless for whatever reason it becomes necessary I will never be short of them. Sorry I don't count but suffice it to say that section of the cupboard that houses them is always full!

I am a male and not a woman so I do not wear underwear as the term connotes. However, I wear boxers and or pants as my underwear I have up to 10 boxers which I wash regularly as I wear them.

Hi Suebee, I am a senior citzen but I have approximately 60 pair of underwear, about 20 pair is a set (bra & panty)...I have that many because I just do, i have alway purchase underwear. and I am happy I have them, I would much rather purchase my nice underwear than a dog previously mention,,,to each his own,,,I like underwear not dogs...I purchased what I wanted....

Haha. I don't have intentions to buy 85 pairs of underwear. All I have is about 2-3 dozen. But I do my laundry once a week, so I get to rotate what to wear weekly so to avoid faster wear and tear.
