Fist fight between Raymart Santiago and Tulfo

raymart vs tulfo - fist fight..
Philippines

tsk tsk tsk... First I've heard this in a while. is it absence of mind Ramon tulfo? when you took pictures to your mobile phone while documenting an evidence of Claudene Baretto complaining to the staff that she left a baggage on their way to manila. I mean, i wonder what made tulfo do that? if she doesn't know who she is then HE wouldn't bother taking pictures of that woman. unless she was kinda rude though. So, Raymart tries to stop the ever rude Ramon Tulfo but of course, he needed it for his stories, so raymart and the other guys gang up on him. oh, WOW! great pictures and news reporting by Ramon Tulfo next week! but i lost respect to him because he acted like a Paparazzi and invade their privacy. What do you think???

I already saw it on the news and on the Buzz It seems Mon is the one who started it because of the taking pictures on his cellphone. Of course it's his story and a news for him well that's being rude taking pictures without permit. Bad luck for him I hope he learned lesson from this.

Hello Jhustinian, I think they hold an ego to be some one who bust out corruption and abuse. but unfortunately, it doesn't work all the time, i remember one of their brothers who went to a certain barangay and berated a barangay captain but it backfired and it was shown in the news too. they're both embarassment. have a nice day.

Hello Lynboobsy, That's the question that I have stated in this discussion. But when i check the news about this, Mon Tulfo mentioned that he tried to pacify the actress but she just kept on going and this cue tulfo to record the attitude that Claudene was showing and that started the brawl when he refused to heed to Raymart Santiago's request. sad to see this happening in our society but most horrying from supposedly role models. Have a nice day. .

Hello Jaiho-sis, It was a definite news scare and the spot light of the day, not to mention the one who uploaded it in the internet was there closely when the people are fighting. gladly that person was there in the first place and allow to see what was all happening, but regardless i felt embarass to watch because i am not used to seeing celebrities being rude to an ordinary person. Have a Nice day.

hi letran knight. yup, saw this incident in a couple of websites already. for sure it will be gossip fodder for the rest of the week. not surprised that both parties involved gave different accounts of what happened. tulfo said he saw a woman, who later turned out to be claudine barretto, berating a cebu parcific ground stewardess. at first he was sympathetic to claudine because cebu pacific had lost one of her baggages. however, when claudine started berating and cursing the ground stewardess, ramon tulfo felt claudine crossed the line. not sure what made ramon tulfo pull out his celphone and start getting photos/video of what was happening.most likely he wanted to feature it in one of his or his sons' shows. when raymart santiago saw what ramon tulfo was doing he went and asked ramon tulfo to stop it. the story only gets morecomplicated this point forward. both sides claim that it was the other side that started the fist fight. ramon tulfo claimed raymart tried to wrest away his celphone from him and he was ganged upon by five or six other men. claudine claims that it was ramon tulfo that punched raymart first and that she was even kicked by ramon tulfo. other disturbing thing here was that security personnel in naia took a long time to intervene and break up the fight. tsk!tsk!tsk! heads will surely roll as an investigation gand accusations from both parties will be

not sure what happened to my earlier posts but it got submitted before i got to finish it so here is the rest of it... another disturbing thing here was that security personnel in naia took a long time to intervene and break up the fight. tsk! tsk! tsk! heads will surely roll as an investigation gets underway and accusations from both parties will be hurled at each other. hopefully this gets resolved soon and both parties amicably settle the matter.

I saw the news on The Buzz, just this afternoon. Then it's in the news after that. It seems that Mon Tulfo has really found Claudine's berating of the lady clerk , too much already, so he took pictures ( he said they're only pictures). It just so happen that Raymart was there to put a stop to it. In my opinion, Tulfo has gone too far in doing the picture taking. What's his motive? To humiliate Claudine by doing the berating? I guess, it's just but normal to get angry when that happens to us too. Imagine your baggage wasn't included in the flight? Pero nabugbog din talaga sya.

I beg to disagree, it just happen that Mon is a journalist and everyone is free to take picture if it is in the public especially that it caught a scene. At least by taking pictures he can show how horrible our airline service is. This is actually Cebu fault that cause a turmoil

Since the May 6 incident between the Santiagos and Mon Tulfo, I think enough waters have now passed down the bridge, giving them enough time to think, assess and consider why and who started the trouble. Was it the Santiagos who don't want the public to know about Claudine rude manners, or was it Mon who just want to have a scoop for his column? Will it not be proper to give peace a chance? Let's thank God's for having a hand to end the trouble this way. No lives involved. It could have been the other way around if Lucifer had his way. Hope the parties shake hands or do the biso-biso.

Hello Nicanorr, She was indeed rude but probably there was a reason for it, but knowing she had been going into flights before, patience should have ben her virtue at most. I think the issue will die out soon but the important is that we learn from their mistakes and not repeating a mistake. have a nice day.

the bottom line is clear humans sometime slip and fall. They must try to forget and forgive everything. They must try to strengthen their hold on their emotions and outburst, if not, impending disaster is sure to follow. God forbid.

I think Ramon Tulfo met his match. He can't always harass people and act like a superman just because he has a media badge. he deserves those punches. I wonder if he will ever stop talking about the incident in his by lines in newspapers. Oh, he's a media man and media men do not know how to respect people's privacy.

I agree, I can hear how he deals with people being complained in his shows, he noticed the way Claudine talked to the Cebu Pacific staff but he never realized how rude he is in talking with people being complained in his tv shows. These people maybe at fault but it's not proper for him to address them with whatever unpleasant words that comes out from his big mouth.

I think being a media personality has its own limits, if they are other people doing ed...not make things worse than it already is. I thought that being one, then he should stepped up to the plate and helped, instead of contribute to worsen the situation. media practitioners often act as mediators, so the question is why he should join the celerity-crazed people and not just help the situation.

@ bing. Nice correlation. I doubt that he even criticizes himself or his brothers on the way he handled otehr people. I understand that some people have more leverage or more power in some situation but he should have at least straighten things out hen went into attack mode. Would save him lot of flak and trouble. thank god my grandfather stopped listening to one of his brothers. it's hard to be optimistic if you hear bad news in the morning. With curses included.

Hi Letran! Oh my,I didn't know I am late with the news, lol! I've known it just tonight and have watched the video of it. Well, both have faults. Mon acted as a paparazzi and the couple should have not let it lead to a fight like that. I just hope they can just resolve this to a peaceful negotiations.

Hello Mtrguanlao, well, I am mostly late with the news myself but unfortunately, this is the part where I was early or something. that couldn't be change anymore except avoid their mistakes, this is a bad part and something that we shouldn't repeat it in the future. i don't know these are completely different opposite sides and i don't know whos going to reconcile. Have a Nice day.

Hi LetranKnight25! Public figures are supposed to take precautions in the way they act. They, of all people, should know that all eyes are on them. Yes, they were probably irritated for bad service they got from the airline company. And, they do have the reason to get angry. But there is definitely a proper forum for their concerns. Claudine should just have talked to whoever was in charge and not have lashed out her anger on any of the employees. Well, her behavior is not really surprising. People who know Claudine could attest that what she did at NAIA 3 yesterday was not even her worst. Would Raymart do the same to the others who took photos and videos of what happened? Or he did so to Mon Tulfo because he only saw the latter doing such? If you check FB and YouTube now, there are already new photos and videos uploaded apparently taken by other people who were in the same vicinity when this event took place. Would Raymart's reaction towards Tulfo be the same if it were a GMA News reporter doing such? Would it have been different if it was a more respected journalist who was involved?

Hello Dolce_Vita, who wouldn't feel irritated to a situation whereas a person is actually not informed about this off loading of baggages. Well, she was definitely out of tune and could have been more calm instead of just threatening the ground crew. well, they went off fuse, so i think they were both wrong, the guard should have been more restraint and showed their incompentence. have a nice day.

I have been watching too much of other things that i do not know a thing about our own showbiz... hmmmm.. i will check this out. But is this some kind of personal stuff for Tulfo? maybe he likes Claudine or something? why would he take a picture of her? is he desperate enough for new news? there are way too much other things going on in our country to pay attention to this.
• Philippines
7 May 12
Hello Jazel_juan I wasn't supposed to watch these things, because I was supposed to focus on mylotting. I think he has the right to document the whole thing since it involves a woman abusing a ground crew. well, these proves the lack of management from the Airport officials and the guards are incompetent, never trust the guards there from now on

I am so much behind with the showbiz news . I have only read your discussion just now and the responses, and we really have different opinions on this matter. I watch the scene on youtube as well and it was really something that we can't be proud of. These people are professionals in their own field and they know they have a reputation to protect, so they should have not made any scenes. I don't know Mon nor I am a fan of both Claudine and Raymart so I am not on any one's side. We can't say who has started who because we were in there personally and we also can't say the other party has said the real story of what has happen. Let's just say they all have faults of this incident and they should learn something from it as well.

Hello Gaiza, to be honest I have rarely been interested in showbiz news since most of them talks about little things about celebrities. but this is totally different because it also involves a lacking patience, and rudeness from both sides inside an airport. No, no one should be on either's side and instead just learn the lesson from them. unfortunately, this is something I need to remember as well. Have a Nice day.

YEah, I haven't really heard of this, but this is why i hate the media, they just don't know when to back off. Sometimes they have no respect for anything, especially in that hostage taking event- the media were told to backo ff but they didn't..
• Philippines
7 May 12
Hello Lady1993, This is the media, though i think Mon tulfo did something that is completely off here acting like a paparazzi. Another problem is that Tulfo is a vigilant person that helps those who are incapable of defending herself, so tulfo wanted to show the public something that the celebrities should avoid doing in public. If Claudene didn't berate and acted too much of a irate customer, then none of this would have happened. Have a nice day.

Hello Bhabycatch, Yeah, after seeing three similar copied videos aside, i just saw more and more that are being spread,it's like a epidemic swarm that spreads like flies in youtube. so, a lesson here is that we shouldn't be acting like the way it is most specially if you're a public figure. yeah, i miss you too honey, and have a Nice day.

It is very easy to say that Media or Reporters have the right to capture pictures or videos for the public to know, but if you are the one who is being capture by those videos, i think i remember those past plenty of movies to where an Incredible Hulk angered offended is being captured by a film, it will only triggers to punch those reporters camera lenses who are continuous capturing a video of you...

Hello Mantis, Of course, I wouldn't be saying the same thing in my situation, like Claudene, i might end up fighting a guy like that. but I am not in that situation and I don't Berate a ground crew staff. they are both at fault in the first place well indeed. luckily for me, am not a celebrity but i won't let something like that happen to me because i am at my best behavior. Have a nice day.

Hello Airkulet, One of them has go to be one of the passengers who heard and saw the whole thing. but it would have considered been something good if the one who took the video would make a witness, but i think the person is too coward to begin with. I have no idea who is that person in PINK, but i think he should be arrested to since he was there beating up mon tulfo. Have a nice day.

I really don't like the attitudes of the Tulfo brothers because they're too arrogant for my liking and I won't take side in this situation too, because they both did something wrong to both party.

I've known someone who has this kind of personality, they look for a fight. The judgement is unreasonable to pursue the desire to have an arguments. He was given some piece of advise, but he refused to change. So I let him think for a while, since some close people are starting to fly away.
