Using mylot to talk about problems

Oh my! What a predicament you have. Can I say something about the things you said? Well you can stop reading if you don't want to read further. It might just make you feel worse. Sorry dude! First of all, mylotters have the option to ignore or delete anyone they please. If we are at the end of that, we can't do anything about that. Just think that it's their loss, not yours. Maybe some people replied to you a long time ago but you didn't actually listen to what they were saying? And when you keep on talking about something, they just got tired of telling you the same things. I don't know what you went through in the past in mylot. I don't know what you wanted to talk about before. I'm just saying that maybe.... Now, you yourself admit that you complain a lot. Although, you say, it's not as bad as the others in your office, it's still bad because a lot of people have noticed it and are taking it against you. So what will you do about that? Keep complaining just because you're not as bad as the others? Keep thinking that everyone else is the problem simply because they have a problem with you? You know your weaknesses already. It's up to you to address them if you want to change for the better. Even of the whole world gives us advice, it's still up to us to actually make the first steps to change ourselves. We might need the support of others to keep going, though. We also have to be optimistic that there is always hope. Another day is another chance to live better and be better. We just have to find it in ourselves to ACTUALLY live better and be better. Knowing is different from doing. May I also greet you Happy Birthday? So happy birthday! I hope things work out for you! I actually read another response from you in another topic after I answered here and realized that you're a dudette. My bad! You're right! I may not totally get you since I don't really know what you went through or are still going through. So I will just wish you well. I agree. The internet can be a very dangerous place. We should all proceed with caution if we do anything in the net. We will never know if someone is stalking us and making note of everything about us. Kinda like, profiling us already. Then they might steal your identity. I don't think that kind of thing is too far out. Thanks for your input!

That's why I think it's best to be just anonymous in most time on internet... For me, it is just a lot safest..

I'm that way too. I don't feel comfortable talking about my issues with people I know because I fear they might take it against me or look down on me for having such issues. They know me personally, so for sure I will have to interact with them some time. But here, we are anonymous. That takes away our inhibitions somehow. Thus, making us talk freely and without abandon. Within the confines of mylot rules, of course. Thanks for responding!

IKR? It helps to get varied objective ideas and opinions about our problems. Sometimes it's hard for us to see our problems that way because we are already in too deep with our issues. Yeah! We don't only get other ideas and opinions, we also end up learning about how things work in other cultures. We might not be able to learn about that especially if our set of offline friends are of the same race. Thanks for responding!

Right! Sometimes it's good to look at our situation through a stranger's eyes. Gives us an idea about what we're going through without our personal biases. And sometimes, we feel shy or ashamed to talk about something with our friends and families. And since we don't personally know each one here, it takes away our inhibitions. Isn't that great!
