Many times i have found myself wondering, what the world would look like now, if the germans had won?
How would my life be different in the year 2012?
Could you guys give me your thoughts on that subject?
what do you think, how would your everyday life be different (apart from the fact that we would all speak german:))

It was said that Germany was close to stealing the plans for the atomic bomb. I imagine Hitler would not have hesitated to use this weapon, and many areas would look like a post apocalyptic world. Many people would be subjugated, and forced to serve what he considered the elite race, those who resisted would have been killed. All in all, it wouldn't have been good, but once a man rises to that much power, eventually someone would have assassinated him.

I have watch a lot of documentary videos about Germany in weeks, they were the most advance country in the world back then. not to mention they were the only country that has propulsion and rocket technology. the idea where they got it was even more fascinating, but that technology is now in the US's and Russia's with even more advance.

Germany had a lot of technology for sure, it's why they were such a threat, but as history proves, any time a man strives for world domination, his ambition becomes his undoing.

Well yes back then they were the most advanced country in the world.
And now you can also consider them one of the most advanced again.
As far as i know, infrastructure and renewable energy, in those issues, nobody in the world beats them now.
There might be more but im not aware of them:P

That's all that my mom said would have happened. Me? There would be only a tenth of us alive. How? The Nazis would have killed all the Chinese and the Japanese too. All people of color would have been killed. There would be no Jews Or Catholics! Or Muslims. There wouldn't be an America or an England. All would be A German State. The Olympics wouldn't be played or it would be the Games. All athletes would be from the same country. There would be no libraries. Most books would be banned. No computers, too dangerous. But the schools would be good. Each child would be taught how to be a good Nazi. No Rock and roll, only Wagner! it would be the largest police state.

The party was their religion. Of the 5 million non Jewish victims of the Holocaust, many were Catholic. Do you really think Hitler would let a Pope share his power over the people?

Christianity was their religion.
One of the first official visits made by hitler, when he came to power - Vatican city.
Every officer in the army had to take pledge, that started with: I swear by god....
In his book Mein Kampf, he said he was doing Gods will.
Every german soldiers beltbuckle had a writing: gott mit uns (translation: god is with us)
The party held their ideology, religion was christianity.

There have been several books written along this line. Novels, of course. The Plot Against America by P. Roth is one that I just recently read (that I remember right off of the top of my head).
We can't really assume that we know what life would be like right now though. I think that we probably would have been into another war shortly thereafter though. If it hadn't have been for Churchill, we may have been speaking German immediately after the war. He was so adamant that Hitler not succeed with his agenda that he practically dragged America into the mess. He knew that he would prevail with America behind him.

Hello EuroSaint, Why do you ask this question and yet you don't give your own analysis? i hope you're not one of those who salute and give a "SEIG HEIL" thing when ever there's a foot ball game(kidding) but seriously, i wouldn't want to think about it since adolf hitler was a complete idiot ruler to begin with. Jews would have been extinct for sure and the rest of the world will fall under Japan, which was my country of course. . probably I'd never exist.....

No, dont worry, im not a hitlerjugend :D
Its just that im interested in the history and few days ago i had a long discussion with some of my friends about this.
Some thought that the world would basically be a much worse place to live and some thought that, it would be bad but not has bad as everybody thinks.
In my opinion, yes, the mankinds diveristy would have been elliminated.
But from the technologigal point of view, i think we would be much more advanced.
Most of the technologies and advancements in use today, have come from germans or germany.

That time they were real candy a*s l**kers. But now they are much more civilized. Beside no way they could beat the Royal army of ours. We proved it that in WW2

I think the allied army was nothing to boast about.
US, Brits, French, Canada, Australia and many others attacking germany from one side, and the enormous russian army from the other side, and it still wasnt a walk in the park.
