Has anybody here ever used Ancestor(dot)com? I LOVE that site! I started tracing my family tree, and pretty soon, up popped a leaf.....and that leaf was my great-great-great-great grand-pappy Bartholomew Ezekiel Bear III from Guatemala......and that leaf lead to another leaf......and that leaf lead to another leaf......and that leaf lead to another leaf.....and that leaf lead to another leaf.....and pretty soon the leaves started looking like these hangy fern things and I traced my family tree all the way to this mud skipper amphibian like creature with an armory plate on it's back and these half fin half foot appendages that it could use for walking or swimming through the lake of primordial soup it had just crawled out of the year before..... Which just goes to show what I've suspected all along.......EVOLUTION RULES! .........creationism myth........BUSTED! I hope I posted this in the right section.....

Not sure, is there actually a "mentally challenged bear" section?

If they ever did find "The Missing Link" would it from then on be known as "The Found Link?" .....or just "The Link?" .....or maybe "The Artist Formerly Known As The Missing Link?"

So, you finally figured it out huh? Sooo, tell me, what actually happened to start things off, can we trace life (or whatever) back - infinitely?

I read it three times and finally understand.Yes, tracing ones's family tree is very interesting.Once I did that and found that my ancesters are jews. You can do many things in family tree, for example, find your family's history, find new relations with some relatives, get the evolution theory, even check rate of genetic illness .

Okay,I haven't gotten to any amphibians yet!But i have used information known about my family and known family trees to find other people who know more about the same ancestors.Through one Fille du Roi ancestor,I am decended from Eleanor of Aquitaine.President Obama is decended from Charlemagne, through his mother,Stanley Ann Dunham, and so was Eleanor,so that means we're related.

I love that site, too, even if I don't use it quite the same way you did. LOL I wish I could afford the membership because I could find so much information on my family and a couple others I'm helping out. I don't know what section you've posted in because it doesn't say in the notification, but you're a quick study - I'm sure you got it right!

These sites never work for me . . . I'm second generation Japanese - in the US - and it seems my Japanese history is not in the books (at least out here) - but of course. BUT that does not mean it does not exist!! Apparently I have another "sector" in the family that live up in Canada (in which we are not exactly in contact with . . . and someone actually bothered to look into family matters and there's an actual family tree on someone's wall going back who knows how far! But apparently after our names have been put up, no one has continued with it . . . so there it sits. It's growth has been stunted!

Yes this is the section where everyone writes his religious beliefs and tries to force them unto others so you are in the right place. I`m happy if you have found the ultimate proof for your belief on a website. I know a lot of people have been illuminated visiting other websites...adult websites.
