Is Acne A Curse?

I use to have acne very bad as a teenager. It has improved as an adult. I had two sisters, and they never developed the skin problem. My mother had it too when she was a teenager though. It was terrible, and people just did not understand. I use to wonder why I was so different with this? I often wondered if it was a family curse as a joke.

For me acne is not a curse but the scars.. they certainly are. You know one day you will be acne free but its almost impossible to get away from the scars. May be you do but then you have to be from richie rich's family..

I'm having acne problems more as I'm an adult. Not severe, but there are days when I have more... usually the skin on the cheeks round my nose and my forehead... at least the most frequent it is there, mainly because I have combination skin (oily on the forehead and round the nose). My mum has more or less the same skin issue, but mine is worse a bit. So, I guess, it is partly genetic.
