I am suffering from a lot of itching near my private part of body. Please Help? Yes it happened and I am really suffering a lot. I am not sure if it is ringworm or what. But due to a lot of itching when I do it, its intensity increases. I use talcum powder and a ring guard cream which works for some time but later it starts again. Please help what should I do.

Hi honest, thats too bad...I feel that you have some fungal infection that needs to be looked into by a physician.Dont neglect it because it can become very painful and sore.Try to keep the area dry and wash with some diluted antiseptic fluid in the mean time ....but do take the advise of a doctor. You just need some ointment and medication...take care and all the best

See a doctor, it might be bacterial infection, and don't self-medicate

I know that yeast infections can be very itchy however it could be something else so it's best to get it checked out just to be on the safe side. If you're able to lay down at home, I know that putting ice down there can help soothe it for you. Best wishes..

Keep it clean, and ignore it; is my best guess. ... Right after you bathe/shower, dry it off & baste it with "Neosporin" (or some other anti-bacterial creme) & treat it like the stump of a severed limb---i.e. know that 'touching it' makes the pain worse.

Better see a doctor. Ointment might not be sufficient to kill the bacteria. you might need to take medicines aside from the ointment. I might help also to iron your undies and wash with white soap. I was prescribed before to take extra hygienic measures when i itch due to pregnancy discharges.

Go see a doctor immediately. It might lead to infection. Don't self-medicate as it might worsen the case. Don't panic.

It depends exactly where the itch is. If there is a discharge and this is making you itchy it's a yeast infection. To try for some relief, draw yourself a bath, not too hot, grab a book and add just a few drops of tea tree oil to the water and soak your self for a while. It is a strong and natural disinfectant that will kill many minor bacteria without harm to you. Best of luck to you.

hi honest_-efforts sounds like a yeast infection so get to your doctor so he or she can prescribe a treatment with Mono-stat as soon as possible. do not try to self medication. we women often get this and it can be treated and the itching relieved.while there do get tested for diabetes too.often the start of yeast'infections is directly related to start of diabetes.

The best to do is see a doctor to know what is the real problem behind the itching. If you are sure it is not a kind of venereal disease then it is most likely an infection caused by tissue paper, sanitary pads and the likes. Go and see a doctor as soon as possible. Speculation and self-medication might aggravate your condition.

Itching is common problem in these days, Our life style is responsible for it. With self medicine you can get temporary relief. To cure it permanently consult with any skin specialist. Good Luck

In my belief, by eating shrimps or prawns can cause my private part itches. So far, I was allergy and my whole body was itching when I ate lobsters. About your case, I advise you to seek an advise and a treatment from a same gender professional doctor to find out the exact problem you have. You must act fast because early treatment can prevent you from suffering further.

That's really serious. You need to visit your doctor immediately. It may be due to fungal infection.I have seen women suffering from this problem. One of them asked me about it.I suggested her to consult her doctor. She did exactly that. The doctor prescribed an ointment and some antibiotics. Now she is ok.Such problems are best dealt with by doctors.

Oh, you may have some fungal growth so you need to get it checked by your Ob-gyne, so they can give you some remedy. It could develop to infections or even kidney failure, so please go and see your doctor very soon.

I'd say good hygiene, wearing cotton underwear, and consulting a doctor are the best ways to address your genital discomforts

It sounds like a yeast infection. You can treat it through over the counter creams, or you can go to the doctor for a presciption. If you can afford it, I'd recommend going to the doctor just to make sure.

I think it has a relationship with the weather. If it is so hot and moist, perhaps it is easy for your private part to be infected. Wearing cotton or silk underwear may be comfortable. I suggest you use the water to wash it now and then. Of course if the situation is serious, then you shall go to see a doctor. I love China

Have you check your blood sugar? If the the fungal cream won't work, it's either you have yeast infection or the itchiness might be cause by your high sugar level. If your creams won't really work try to seek doctor's advice so it won't get sever.

Don't know if you are male or female but... If male it could be what they refer to as jock itch. If female it could be a yeast infection. Best thing to do is not scratch. Keep the area clean. Go to the doctor in the morning and get checked. Scratching will make things worse and fingernails can cause more of an infection a lot faster.

Some cream also gives more irritation to the skin and affected areas, better see the dermatologist the know what remedies could be good for that itchiness.

Try to wash it with water and salt solution, then consult a doctor. It can create more damage if you don't go for medical help.
