Without travel you are like a frog in a small pond.Your ideas will never go beyond your community and their lifestyle. As you grow you will become more conservative regarding other cultures and location. There will be no growth perspective to your personality if you stagnate at one place. What you are accustomed will be your views and that will restrict your outlook. You become intolerant to other culture and people. You start to think, that the particular geographic area where you reside should not be shared and it should belong to your community and people. When the whole society becomes accustomed to this type of ideas, then the growth of the society and country become stagnant.Travel makes you broad minded, visit the hills, the valleys, the plains, the desert and the forest, they will tell hundreds of tales that will broaden your ideas and improve your thinking capabilities. When you share travel experience with others, they will want to explore and expand their vision also.So enrich yourself with wander lust which will make you a relaxed and better person. Your whole outlook will be changed and barriers of culture and language will dissolve for better relationship.Trust and love will replace hatred and suspicion and the world will become a better place to live, with travel.Travelling helps you to have more friends and as you travel you can convert strangers in to good friends.Do not wait for anything, just pack your bags and travel to broaden your mind and outlook.

On my trip around the world at age 20 to 21 years old I developed my patience and matured somewhat. I learned about other people's cultures and communities. I gained an understanding of poverty. I really caught the travel bug which is a huge desire to see plenty more places in my lifetime.
Travel can teach you foreign languages. I like the Spanish spoken in Central America and South America. I went to a terms Spanish language class. I have made friends on my travels. Travel has helped me be content with what I have in my homeland. When not able to travel I keep my ideas open for future travels.
I learned ever such a lot when I was aged 29 years old. I saw first hand the cycle of rivers and crossed them at low tide. I saw some inpatient German men swim across the river. I sat in my tent and crossed the next day at low tide. At age 36 years old I visited a poor African township in South Africa. I like to support poor places like that.

You only gain from travel if you have an open mind and are willing to try new things. I traveled with a group once and most of us were eager to learn about the culture but there were some college professors who found fault with everything the local people were doing. If something wasn't done the way it was in their country it was backwards and wrong. They were not ready to experience anything that was different.
I love to travel and try new things. When in a foreign country I always try to find the local restaurants to get the real flavor of the country. I even traveled and worked in Korea as part of a mission project. We taught in the schools and lived with a local family, one of the best experiences I had. I wish everyone could experience a country and culture like that.

I don't agree with you. Even if you stay home (in your own country or region) you can get all the life experiences you need and meet many foreigners and other cultures. Unless you live in a place where you can't find any of them. In my country you can find all kind of cultures, they all have their own habits (no integration at all), speak their own language etc etc. Also I never made more friends (what exactly you call a friend?) while I was travelling and I travelled a lot in my life (also moved many times to all parts of my country plus other countries). Strangers will not turn into good friends, if it comes to a good friend you can call yourself lucky if you find 1 or 2 in your whole life and only at the end of your life you can say if you had that good friend (and if that friend thinks the same about you is the question). Since we have internet there are plenty of ways to broaden your mind as well. Only those who are blind and deaf for what is going on in the world (listen to the radio, watch tv, visit internet, read books, think!) will not develop themselves.

Friend, this is my experience which I got from My travel around the world.I got good friends and positive attitude from my roaming around the world.I understood that there were more people unfortunate than me,which made me stop from complaining for small matters.I come from a small town with strict habits and regulation, some of which are good and some constraining gender equality and freedom.Travel enlightened me to break the bonds of such foolish regulation.Beside I was able to comprehend the awesome power of my makers creative ability ,when I behold the magnificent sights of his creation.

you are right up to some extent, we can learn a lot of things while travel, i have done it, but all don't think the way , some people , instead of understanding the tradition and culture of others ,they start abusing them if they don't like it, i have seen such people, and i hate such people, who instead of understanding , develop some kind of hatred towards them, they never broaden their minds, even if how much they travel.

you are correct, but their next generation will understand their folly and correct themselves.Otherwise, they may turn clannish and destructive of their fellow inhabitants.Let us pray to Almighty to make a change in their heart from lessons learned from their travels.

I can't approve of your idea more. In the past, I was not interested in travelling, because tour means that you go to some different palces where many people travel, and take some pictures then come back, except which I cannot get anything else meaningful. But I know that those people never recognize the value of travel. Travelling can bring you new culture, beautiful scenery, different ideas, and novel thoughts, through which you can broaden your horizons and have greater ambition with precise mind. I cannot wait for having a travel myself now.

Have confidence and right attitude.Pray for guidance and protection from the Almighty in your Travel.Make friends on online and ask about the details of budget hostels in various places and countries.Inquire about safe stays from reliable sources.Always eat covered and hot food.Travel in group.Study the culture and customs of the place you travel.Do not accept advice from a total stranger, who is over friendly.Eat the food that is available for a particular region. If you ask for something exotic you may upset your budget.Take minimum accessories that stay within your luggage allowance on various travel.Carry easy to wash and dry apparels.Read travel sites to get more information to where you plan to travel. Finally be adventurous to face anything with a calm strength.

Very good, necessary and progressive suggestion.
Travelling is also essential to break monotony of life. My view is we should go for adventurous travelling. I mean travelling to truly mix up with new people, be part of new culture and be under different circumstances.
Please do not take me amiss. I am not talking about going to dangerous places. I mean go as humbly as possible. Going to a new place and staying at a five star hotel and touring in a luxury bus, do not let you feel the real scenario. Thus, I suggest go as a traveler on foot. Walk as far as possible, stay as a local person's guest. You will then gain the real knowledge on different economies, societies, customs, rituals and above all mentalities.

I agree, learning the way of life of other cultures enriches our appreciation of life and our own culture. We would be wrong, however, to think all cultures are equal or all cultural aspirations of equal value, they are clearly not. For who can say that the culture of Nazi Germany is as good as their own? What we must do is to see the good in each culture and learn from it but reject the bad.
When I travel I try to live with local people as they do, eat as they do and though it is a skill at which I am very poor, to learn a little of their language.
Some, who go to some distant country and stay in an international hotel, travel around by taxi to just the famous sights, really experience little of that land
all the best urban

Widening your horizon makes you more open to a lot of new things, places and people. It is a great way of learning and experiencing different cultures. You broaden your understanding in every situation and makes you more view things in different perspectives.

Really thanks for your advice and i know that most mylotters here love life and will do so to change current life. For me,i do not like staying at one place all the time and that makes us feel really uncomfortable to be original. To see more things definitely broaden our views,i totally agree on this.

Thanks for sharing your idea. I also love to travel because i believe its the best way to learn. That's why I love to watch national geographic shows about world less travel. Even how not lovely the places are but they still manage to make it a fun travel by mingling with the locals.
