We often hear that people say that someone has changed a lot. That person is no more the same person at all. The change may be good or even bad also.
However, many times it is found that the person who had changed a lot and everyone had thought that he or she had changed, the same person shows his or her orginal (old) nature.
So do you think that nature of a person is a permanent thing or it changes with time?

I do believe that a person can change.
most painful experiences make a person change.
Money also changes a person's behavior so as fame.
There are different aspects in life that make someone changed from good to bad and vice versa.

I agree with you that the person changes according to own experiences in the life. If better experiences are there then he change for better and for bad experiences are there then he becomes a bad person.
Thanks for your response.

Your response is of just one line, but I think that it gives a great point to think about...! People change their nature depending on the expectations.
They may be the expectations of a person for himself or from the society. And they may be the expectation from the society for that person. If a person expects that he should be a rich person and if he is in poor financial condition, he will change is attitude and work harder and harder to earn more money. If a person expects the society to provide good environment to grow as a respectable person, and if the society fails to provide same environment, then he changes to be a bad person.
If a person is expected to be a great human due to his family culture, he will change to become a good person because he is always told that he has to grow up as a great human...!

In my opinion it changes with time. Maturity makes a person better most of the time. But sometimes there are certain traits that a person still have even he/she grow older. As we grow old, we tend to realize our mistakes or bad traits and usually we try to avoid it or turn away from it. We learn from our mistakes and that what makes a person stronger in coping with our daily lives.

I also feel just like you... As we grow older, we have lot of experiences and from those experiences we learn lot of things. We also realize what mistakes we had done and so we try to change ourselves. Most of the times these changes are for better only.
However, when we are around bad people, whose thinking process is in wrong way only then it is difficult for us to change for better. If we are staying in a place or working at a place where many people are quite orthodox, they always talk in old narrow minded ways, then such things also appear in our nature without our noticing the same.

i don't think it changes so much. it does change a bit after some time. but not much, unless something has happened in his/her life for a drastic change in nature.
we think that the person have changed because that person may behave with us in a different way, then he/she use to behave before. so that makes us think that, the person is changed.

Well you feel that nature does not change a lot in most of the cases. However, as rightly stated by you, it changes a lot when something extra ordinary happens to a person.
If a person goes through lot of financial problems he may has a habit or nature of spending lavishly, but the same person will change a lot and will think well before spending every single penny. If a person is cheated by someone who he had trusted fully, he will not trust anybody in future, or evenif he has to put trust in someone, he will have some sort fear in his mind.

With the nature of a person, I think change is dependent on their lived experiences. Some people change after experiencing a life-altering moment, which drives them to change their perception of life. It could mean they changed for the worse or for the better. However, for a person to revert back to the old nature, they usually have to reach an epiphany about how they were wrong about their new perception to go back to their old selves. But sometimes, it is not that easy to get someone to change back to their old selves; people can experience something so traumatic that it may be very difficult for them to be themselves again. Because of their lived experiences, they might develop biased views on various topics. Generally, the nature of a person is not permanent, but it can be very difficult to alter depending on their experiences.

So you too feel that the nature of a person is not permanent thing. You have rightly indiccated that the nature is changeable but it takes quite a long time for a person to change his or her nature. The changes may be for good or for bad. If the person has experienced good things then it is quite likely that the changes in him or her will be for better. But the person who has faced many bad things in the life may turn to be a bad person.
So I think that atleast for our kids, we should provide them with good experience so that they become good human. If they see bad things about them then they will turn out to become bad persons when they grow up.

nature of a person never changes its like a sea, no matter how much it floods or it rains, how much see is jumoping or how mch water is going here and there, in the end it stays at its place and always look the same it may get varient for some time. Nature changes exactly the same way, it may fluctuates but it never changes permenantly, some of your old habbits and views never changes nomatter what do you do.

So you feel that change in behaviour may occur but it will be only for some time. It may even fluctuate between some points but in generally the nature of a person does not change.
I feel that the nature of sea and nature of a person are quite different things. Even the nature of sea changes but after lacs of years because the sea is quite large as compared to human. We human are very active creature and we always keep thinking about ourselves and our friends, relatives and so many other things. So in different situations the person will change his nature. That is my view.

Nature is what it is.. nature. People don't change. They stay who they are, get who they are or are the product of education/the way they are raised or abused. But this (behaviour shown) is not nature.

So you feel that nature does not change. It is because you feel that behaviour at particular time is not nature. It is true that education or brought up of a person makes you behave in a particular way. However, it is not necessary that good education or good brought up will not be able to change the person's thinking process.
When a person changes his or her thinking process, his or her response to different situations is also changed a lot and this change is almost permanent. I think that we can call it a change in nature.
