Morning Greetings at work...

I am steady post at this office for the whole month of September and I am on assigned on the early shift which is from 7:30am to 4:30am. I am glad that people here greeted each other with a smile and a good morning. At times, they would share their experiences while travelling to get to work. Like yesterday, a vehicular accident is the topic while preparing for work. And sometimes, their children's achievement at school and other happy incidents.
Isn't it a good thing to start the morning...

It's nice to start your morning with big smile from the people you meet. It will add on to your mood and gives you more inspiration to work diligently in the office. I'm working from 6:00- 3:00 so I always receive morning greetings and smile from my colleagues and security guard..lol

The same with me, I am often assigned with the early works and our security officers are more polite than ever. Actually, I would like to talk to people with lower ranks as they are more humane to talk with. For people with higher ranks, they simply would like to brag that they would spend time talking to us.

Yeah.. I agree with you. Sometimes they're not giving equal treatment to lower ranks. Yes I believe that not everybody but only some..:)

Good morning. It is really good to have someone at work to greet you. It would somehow start a good day and would freshen up your morning. The gesture of a handshake and a smile for me is an encouragement to someone who is bound to face a long day. A greeting would sometimes made a day extra special. Cheers!

A good morning from a companion or a work mate is a good way to start the day. Being pleasant to people near you would mean a lot to the recipient. It is not a big effort anyway, why would some people could not share some? Good Morning and Happy mylotting...

I always try to come to work with a smile on my face.
We all get along great at my work and people always share there experiences and what they did in there spare time

I guess you are enjoying your work now because of the people you work with. Few months back, I have a terrible time dealing with people inside our office so I am very happy that finally, I was assigned in field work. In my new assignment, I got to go to different work places each day but until now, I did not encounter people with bad attitude. As I go there, I make sure to greet them a good day ahead... You are right. Greeting is other is both beneficial to the doer and the receiver of the action. We will never know, who among the people around us needs our smiles to start their day. Plus the little chat is nice among workmates... Have a nice day and thank you for commenting.

Going to work while receiving nice greetings in the morning does feel good. When I am with people who are nice to me, I am often nice them in return. However, I am not saying I will automatically mean to people who are mean to me. It's just easier to treat others in the same way they treat you. It may be difficult but I always to try to be nice to people even if they are not nice to me. I know that are people who have bad days that show they are upset through their interactions with other people. While they may seem like an understandable alibi for some, I do not find this acceptable. Even if you are having a bad day, you should suppress your bad feelings and not let your anger towards other people who are trying to be nice to you. While I have been guilty at times for showing my anger, I always regret doing that to other people who wish me to have a good day.

I believe that being an employee, we should leave our problems at home and come as fresh as we can. But I could see too that there are some annoying person who have problems at home and would come to the office with the same attitude. Yap, I am like you, I could easily respond to nice person and be a little more bad to person with bad attitude. I could not blame you, specially when you see that you are equally footed at work, therefore they should treat us nicely too.
