We were so glad that our salary was released very early this month (6th day of the month). So the group decided to go to the nearby town to withdraw some amount for our budget. (The town where we are presently assigned do not have ATM machine) We also go to Jollibee to have our dinner since we are already there and knowing that there will be no power on our boarding house.
I ordered beef with mushroom and coke float for dinner and regular yum for the following day’s breakfast. I asked how much it would cost me. The lady in the counter told me that was ninety pesos in all ($2.25). I am happy already because I only spent a little amount even when dining out. Not to mention that I already have food for my breakfast the following day.
Happy myLotting everyone!

That is totally good idea if that is the case. Jollibee is really good especially in terms of Spaghetti with Chicken Joy. I just don't like their burgers because I would really prefer the Mc. Donalds for that. In terms of rewarding myself, it actually depends if I want a food or thing. Sometimes I am spending myself into starbucks or CBTL.

I am not rich Dude! I don't do that every salary but next time I am planning to. But when I am working before of course I am rewarding myself with that coffee like Starbucks. But now I am in budget and I want to save because Christmas is approaching. That is how Filipino speaks specially in our native tongue that we don't have that in mountains. My boyfriend speaks that way as well but as a joke of course. CBTL is Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf there branches here in Manila. By the way I am female not a man.

We are lucky that we can have meal here in our country very cheap. Can you imagine having a dinner worth of $8 while I was in Saudi Arabia. Very expensive. They said we cannot eat if we put in our mind the conversion of the money in our country.
C1 meal in Jollibbee Saudi Arabia worth $3.5 while here it's only $2. How I wish to stay here but if we talk about salary, there's a big difference.

Yes we are indeed lucky julyteen. I think there are also other ways wherein we can earn as much as those working abroad can earn. when I discovered about online job, I know there is a chance of earning more. But since I cannot figure out yet how things work, I have to be very thrifty, he he.

That seems reasonable. It's nice when you have enough leftover for another meal as well.
I've been trying not to buy food out because I am trying to save all my money. It's so tempting though.

Hello there Aries. I'm also so happy whenever it's my payday. That time, I could also go out with my sister and eat out with her. Sometimes, I treat her so we would both be happy and full. We live a bit far downtown so if it's my salary, we usually go there and look for something to eat. I usually like going to Jollibee too. I just love their spicy crispy fried chicken there. Actually, it's my favorite fried chicken that I could order in some fast food chain. I think my sister and I really like the taste though it could bring us strange feelings sometimes because it's really too spicy. We add sundae ice cream so we would also have our simple dessert. I think the meals that we usually order are not too expensive too but it is okay because we are really satisfied with the taste and they could really make us full. I think it's really good for us to treat ourselves with it's our payday. It's also our time to eat out and be satisfied we the food that we would eat. We could also spend some time out with our friends or family. I'm excited because I would receive my salary later. I think I would treat my sister again. Maybe, we would go out and look for something to eat again. We would order for something delicious, but affordable. Happy myLotting. :)

We really can enjoy even we spend little amount. I'm glad to know that you are close to your sister and you can go out together. My sisters can only have time together from time to time be we are living in different places. But hopefully, we can be together during our mom's birthday coming 23.
Thank you for sharing!

I agree with you there. I'm satisfied while eating knowing that I didn't spend really a lot of money for my meal especially when the taste is even really good. I work with my sister that's why I'm really close to her. We are always together and we stay in one room. I hope you and your sisters could spend some time together too. I hope you would be together on the 23rd for your mom's birthday. Anyway, Happy Birthday to your mom and you are welcome. Have a nice weekend to you. :)

I think that we all deserve some small treats for ourselves here and there after long weeks of working hard. It is not wrong to enjoy the fruits of your own labor every once in a while as long as you make sure that you still some left for your expenses until the next payday.

Congratulations for having enjoyed your payday. That was a lot of savings there considering you only paid that much money for food.
When I was still working, every salary day, I treat my family out for dinner or lunch. But they expect a more expensive restaurant instead of a fast food chain. Then I also go out with friends to have a drink. Oh i miss those days when I was still working.

We also go out in other restaurants during especial occasion. The last time was during the valentines day. After that, I already entered the training. Hopefully, I could already go home in a few days. I'm so excited.
Thank you for sharing toni!

I used to treat myself during payday even in simple way.
We deserved it with all the hard work that we have done.
We used to eat out during payday. We will go to the mall with colleagues to treat ourselves with foods that we wanted to eat and craving for.Sometimes I do buy shirts for myself.

Yes, you are right ardoy. We have to reward ourselves for working hard from time to time. Actually, some part of me was lonely at that time. I used to go out with my family but since I am in another place, I cannot do it. Anyway, few more days and we're done. I can already go home to my family.

Hi Aries,
At this time now, yes the total cost of the food you bought is just cheap. But if it was compared before that is already expensive lol. Getting the monthly salary is always the best, although it easily slipped our hands too.

He he actually, when the cashier told me the price (P90), I asked her again, did you include the burger, did you include the coke float? Even the person behind is wondering why I am asking it over and over?
