If every scar tells a story...therefore the more scars, the more story (~,~)

During childhood we get hurt, wounds that leave scars.
Some of those scars are visible and some are not.
Every scar tells a story how and when it happened.
I am sure most painful story comes from unseen scars.
Scared soul and a broken heart.
I just wonder how does a broken heart sounds like.
And how does scared soul looks like.
Thanks, my scars don't look scary and not the keloid type. (-,-)
Wish everyone a great weekend

I have a scar in my right lower front leg, that is deep like carved. Though it's not blackish. One can hardly notice it.
The story ; it was by the can that my best friend kicked during our "tumbang preso" play in our house's playground, since i am the IT. I cried out of pain , but i know it wasn't meant to harm me because it was played that way.
Every time i put on the lotion to my legs, i would remember my friend.

hello D,
At least you have something that reminds your childhood days and your friend.
I also have same scar that reminds me of my childhood days and each time I saw it I can't stop laughing how I got it
Sometimes scars doesn't mean sadness or to make our face sad or grumpy

Yes, some scars reminds us of how carefree we are in our childhood days. We don't mind getting scars, since what is important is the joy it brings us that very moment.

"Some of those scars are visible and some are not."
You are very wise...
One of my biggest "scars" is still with me. Many of my brothers-in-arms are in the same boat, or worse. Over 58 thousand "scars" on the Wall; they never made it back.
Walked around like a time-bomb for 10 years.
I began talking with my speech prof at college after class one night. It felt like an anvil was lifted off my shoulders. Had a couple more "sessions" with this great lady. To this day I just can't remember her name.
That was back in '80.
Yes, some of those scars are not visible.

hello Gene,
Welcome to mylot
I believe that some invisible scars are the most painful ones.
Thu some visible scars also tells or remind painful memories.
Every scar has each story to tell.
No matter how bad/good, happy or sad it is- we learn from it.
Thanks for your share and enjoy mylot

I really hate my scars... :(
And my stories are stupid: I got bit by a dog, had an operation and had oil spilled on the back of my hand.
I try to look at the real story of my scars. And all I can thing of is, stupidity. I could have avoided them all if only I thought twice before doing something.
I dunno... These scars make me really sad sometimes...
I really hope the cosmetic technology nowadays is good enough to treat my scars. I can't stand them anymore. They don't even have a story, they just remind me of how stupid I was.

hello ilann,
I've observed that during childhood, we don't care much about scars.
Only we become too conscious about it when we reached teenage years.
But, too late it's done and yes some scars are too ugly to see- that we wish we could turn back the time to avoid those scars.
Thanks for your share and have a great weekend

I agree. The more the scar, the more experienced a person is. There is something behind that scar. A lesson or a funny one. Scars can be that physically found in our body and there are scars that cannot be seen but through our hearts. If we remember them, we tend to be emotional. We forgive but we never forget is indeed fitting to this discussion. Thanks

Hi jaiho, i agree, behind of every scars has a painful and happy stories. I have a big scar in my right palm because i fell from the tree when i was young and it really terrible because some pieces of broken glass stub my right palm. I remembered during that time I washed my wound thoroughly right away to prevent any infections and see if still have some glass inside my wound. When my mom found out what happened to me i thought she will get and and scold me but i was wrong she quickly get our first aid kid and clean my wounds and we went to the hospital to see if have a broken bones or head trauma. Luckily everything went fine but my mom told me never to climb on the tree anymore. Good thing that scar in my right palm is not obvious may because it healed very well and it happened 21 years ago.

hello Bhebelen,
Oh my, thanks that you are not badly hurt.
I have fallen from a tree too- and it's a funny experience because when the branch where I am standing broke, I managed to get a hold on the next branch where my friend is sitting.
Due to the impact, the same branch where my friend sits also breaks and we both fell down

You will know how they sound like when you experience them. It sounds like you have not had your heart broken yet. But the heart can mind and the soul grows wiser and more compassionate.

hello rose,
Experience is the best teacher that could us the exact meaning, feeling and lesson to learn.
I've broke my heart once and that experience made me understand a lot of things.
It hurts, but somehow worth to start a new life :)

some visible scars took a spin from experiences that could be memorable for us. while some scars that are not visible could come from less desirable experiences that are best left untold as stories.
like most others i do have scars, both visible and ones not so. the one on my left knee was from a biking lesson gone wrong. the one in my left arm came from romancing an unfeeling bamboo, an adventure gone wrong. kitchen adventures sometimes leave scars too. and those not visible are sometimes more painful than the scars we see.
wounded hearts, broken hearts, scarred souls... are sometimes painful lessons. we got hurt. hopefully we learn. then we survive. and move on. we heal. like most scars... it will heal in time.
happy weekend!

I think scars are memorable as they make sure that you do not forget. As most things that leave a lasting scar "inside or out" are events that are worthy or remembering and learning from. So think of them as reminders to remember what you learned. If they are visible scars and people ask you about them... well then these scars are not only for you to remember what you learned but to share to others what you learned and hopefully they will learn from your knowledge.

Hi jaiho: It's nice to know that yoru scars are not that terrible. I think I can say the same. They say that what don't kills you make you stronger. I believe this. We can go forward and be better learning from our scars.

I doubt if unseen scars have the most painful stories. Also I don't agree a broken heart is the most painful story there is. There are people (I am one of them) who have been beaten up for years by their parents, or partner, raped, abused in every way. This is way more painful as the broken heart I suffered for for about 14 years. And I can assure you that I have a lot of marks and scars everywhere, including a damaged neck, back, hips. No day or night without pain, unable to lay down normal, to walk long or sleep a few hours.
There are also plenty of people with scars made by doctors who made mistakes, or little girls abused and misformed by religious people... I think most of us will be shocked if we hear the stories behind the scars of other people.. no matter if you say them or not.

I agree with you, unseen wounds leave no scars, but they are most painful, only the person can feel it; further problem is he/she normally share it with any one, what a pity

I have cars. I have many of them. Some physical and some emotional. And the ones that hurt the most are the emotional ones. The psychical ones heal at least. the other ones do not. But your right. every scar tells a story. And one day I will write about them.

Every one will experience miseries, more or less. I doubt anyone can escape it. So everyone has scars seen or unseen. The scars made us painful but also made us stronger.
