they say, when you're happy, you enjoy the music, and when you're sad, you understand them. it happened to me actually, i failed one of my major subjects and suddenly Iheard the song "fix you" by coldplay, which i really liked, then the first line really hit me "when you try your best but you don't succeed".. how bout you? you have the same experience?

For me music is a way to express myself. I listen to music according to the mood I am in. If I am sad I listen to sad music, happy to happy music, and when in a bad mood I listen to fighting music. I do seem to understand a song better when I am sad though.

Oh yes, that usually happens.
We used to enjoy the music and even groove with the beat and sing when we are happy yet when we are sad, we are too sentimental on the lyrics and try to understand it and relate on what we feel as of the moment.

Hey there, I have experienced the same feeling by listening to "I'll always love you" by whitney houston. ;(
